This review is based off brunch on a Saturday morning. Also bare in mind all locations are not the same I have gone to the chino hills and Whittier location where it was a great time! Gave this location two stars only bc the host was kind and welcoming she was really great. However the service was not so great even though we were literally the only party inside at the time. We had to send back a couple of drinks/glasses due to food or dirt that was floating in them. Then we realized how the manager would walk around and not even ask us how we were doing. (Yes that's not his job.. but common sense if we are the only people inside wouldn't you want to greet clients to make them feel welcomed?) that being said we noticed a group of ladies (Caucasian) came in after us and he made sure to ask them if everything was ok and good. . Our waiter needs a bit more of training as he didn't come back to ask if we needed more water or to take away our plates. We had to flag him down several times. He also had to ask us what sunny side up was and ended up with something else bc he didn't know so we had to settle. Bare in mind they said this is a soft opening... not the grand opening yet.. so with even more reasoning shouldn't you be on top of it before the grand opening to have people come back? This place has the WROST possible service for a large party. I went to celebrate my moms birthday with a party of 30. There was only server for the whole group. Of 30. The service was slow the drinks took a long time we were never checked on as we sat with empty refillable drinks. Lastly we had to ask for the birthday flan and to have a song sang to her 3 times, when they did come out only the flan with no one around. This is was corrected but still embarrassing. Started off with the taquitos and a tamarindo michelada for michelada Thursday! The chicken taquitos were bomb and the michelada was one of the best I've tried here in the IE. Also, the chips and salsa was on point. But above all that the service was excellent. They were very attentive and the food was quick. We also got the asada taco and barbacoa taco. My favorite food items are the Dragon Roll, barbacoa plate or tacos, the Quesa birrias are too die for. Make sure you ask for the habanero salsa if you like spicy. And my favorite drink currently is the Mesera and I ask for a double. So delicious! Worth the wait, and they have good music playing. read more

The current hosting system requires you to wait near the door because your name can be skipped if you are away from the door. I suggest changing to a text when your table is ready system. Another thing I noticed after being seated was multiple servers bringing food and alcohol beverages to the wrong table. I got asked a few times what drink did I order. It seemed like the food/drink runners did not know what table number they were taking the items to. Lastly, the music was way too loud. I understand that the restaurant wants to go for that vibe and the loud music style, but we literally had to be yelling across the table. It was also very hard to hear our waiter. Maybe lowering the music just a little wouldn't have guests having to yell. Overall, staff was very friendly. We went for a birthday party. We had a reservation and the hostess wouldn't sit us until our entire party was there. When we were sat no one came to get our drinks or came to our table. We sat there for at least 10-15 min. We asked to be moved as we were sat directly under a speaker and the music is so loud. They said they'd have to close out our tab but we never even ordered anything cuz no one came to our table. We moved to the bar area. It was a much better atmosphere and not as loud there. The food and drinks are really good. We went w a party of 7. They will only do 4 separate checks. So be prepared for that because they say too many people have walked out. Anyways the food was good. Came on a sat night just for a quick drink i order 2 Cadillacs and i believe a paloma negra! 1 taco de chicharon , bill was 80$ wtf yes 80$ this place charges 7$ extra for better quality tequila but, they dont tell you on their menus smh this was the 2 time i been to this place and my last btw the 2 Cadillacs were way to strong and for paying almost 20 $ for a margarita!!!
