This is a great place to take the family. Everyone was nice and respectful. They did make up wait or anything, took care of us from the jump. It was a nice area that we sat at! very comforting and beautiful. The food was top tier. My boyfriend and i enjoyed the Korean fried chicken the most. The sauce and the texture of the chicken melted right in our mouths

First time to Kalbi, and holy cow was it amazing!! They have multiple flavors of Soju available, and the prices aren't too bad. The Chicken Yakiudon was my personal favorite, whereas my cousins thoroughly enjoyed the Korean BBQ.

I live 1.5 hrs away from KAB and the drive is always worth it for authentic Korean food! Best Kalbi tang around, hands down. Service is always amazing - they gave us extra banchan without us even asking. Their kimchi and kkakdugi is always seasoned perfectly and the right amount of sourness. If you're looking for amazing food with a chill atmosphere with your friends and family, I'd highly recommend KAB!

The food is good service is excellent and ambiance is always great. Just needs to be a bigger space. Friday's and Saturdays are always packed. Make sure you get there early.

Nice ambiance, excellent service and very delicious Korean BBQ and other dishes. We were in Pa/De visiting our grandchildren and so happen to be craving for authentic Korean cuisine and stumbled on KALBI ASIAN BISTRO and was very impressed at how this restaurant maintained the true and authentic Korean taste. Will definitely come back!

Bul gogi and sides (marinated bean sprouts, potatoes. Kim chae, greens)

I ordered bul gogi which was delicious. It comes with sides of bean sprouts, potatoes, something green, Kim chae. I loved the beach sprouts! And the bul gogi was seasoned very well. The waitress was very friendly and checked in on us often, and took our order right away which I appreciate. There was a decent selection of wine and basics for the beer. I got a glass of Chardonnay and Cabernet which were both what was expected. I would come back and look forward to the shared dishes and home like vibe.

This is the only legit Korean joint in the Wilmington metro. Fortunately for us it is a pretty good one. I always get started with a seafood pancake or Korean fried wings. The seafood pancake is always loaded with pieces of squid and shrimp. No soggy batter here either, the savory pancake is always fried to perfection. I miiiight like it more than scallion pancakes. Ordering kbbq to go is kind of a waste so I usually order some rice dishes to go. Bibimbap is my go to. This place gets busy at times but I like the food and I love the service so I don't mind the wait!

They're still serving fantastic Korean food! If you plan to eat in, definitely try to get there earlier than later as within a half hour to closing they may only be offering take-out.

Best Korean food in Delaware that I've tried so far!! My husband is Korean and we love going out for BBQ as well as a la carte. One of our favorite weekday lunches is Kalbi. He loves the kimchi jigae lunch special (I definitely spelled that wrong). And I loveee to get their bulgogi tteokbokki (again probably misspelled) which is off their main menu (not a lunch special). It's almost $20 but it's extremely filling and worth every penny. I usually have leftovers too to bring home for our son to eat after school. The service is top notch as well, always. And it's clean and modern inside (but small). I highly recommend trying Kalbi.

I have been here a few times and am finally sitting down to write a review. Always love coming here and the barbecue is fantastic. This time I ordered the bulgogi dolsot to change it up a bit and it was a very nice blend of flavors and balance of sweet and saltiness. Never left here without being content and full. I am looking forward to the next time I have a reason to head up this way to eat.

Probably the best Korean food in the area! Food is flavorful, staff is very nice and its comfortable in there! I got the sweet and sour pork and jajangmyeon. Portions are pretty big. Flavor is really good. The initial bite of pork is crispy. Could use a little more flavor but overall it was very good especially paired with the noodles. Now the noodles were INCREDIBLE! That's all i have to say! My friends got the rice stone bowls which are a solid choice if you're a beginner to korean food! Bulgogi or the spicy pork are both solid choices and come with the traditional sides like kimchi, potatoes, sprouts etc. At the end the staff give you a tiny drink that helps digest the food better and is also really good!

My gal pals and I try to get together for a Saturday lunch each month. None of us have ever been…read morehere so we thought we would give it a try. The interior has a dimly lit warehouse feel with predominantly vinyl booths. The first thing I noticed was much of the seating in most of the booths were worn and torn. I find this to be a turn off due to sanitary conditions being compromised. I found one Booth that had two separate vinyl chairs on one side that were not damaged. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. They explained the procedure to choose whether we wanted Hot Pot (soup) or the barbecue option. Each table has built in induction cooktop burners with a center shallow wok. We all chose Hot Pot. (Soup) The waitress takes our order for our soup base and then we choose the proteins and vegetables we want to add to the hot pot from a tablet. There are also choices of starches, like rice, noodles and dumplings. The soup base arrives first and you can adjust the temperature of your own personal cook top burner, then the accoutrements arrive. Most of the proteins are slightly frozen, and rolled neatly on their serving dishes. I particularly liked any of the dumplings. The meats were so thin that they can be easily overcooked. The vermicelli noodles were very good and cooked perfectly in the broth. Everything was fresh and the broth I chose had a good flavor and was not over salted. It's all you can eat so you can try another broth or get a refill on the same one. The same with the other ingredients. They do serve alcohol & dessert which are not included in the all you can eat price. Soft drinks are. They mentioned they had an appetizer bar that was included. It contained a small section with some cut up fruit. Then several containers of sauces that you can mix and match. Then there were some french fries and some type of breaded fish or chicken tenders. I didn't find it appetizing. I think better options and more of them should be added. I think this is the type of place, you need to experience once. Definitely good for a group of friends and those that want to try proteins that just aren't available anywhere. Personally, I just don't care to cook much anymore so when the waitress asked if there was anything else she could bring us, I said a chef. We all laughed.

IT IS NOT! this Geoffrey drive location is HORRIBLE. The bar is FILTHY, the staff was more interested in "hanging out" with each other than providing service. The kitchen staff carried multiple plates open on arms without trays (food contacting dirty clothing) We had to walk up and get our water filled from the bar tender ourselves! They never offered to change the grill, which was so gummed up it was smoking, the ordering tablet didnt work for ordering and we finally had to get up, locate someone and ask for the bill. It was 3:30 on a Monday - plenty of staff in house, just not working. What a disappointing experience from our "favorite" spot. Guess nothing lasts forever, it's sad!

They also serve fried dumplings and drinks (not in NJ). I love the fried dumplings. Crispy outside, Juicy inside. It's packed with meat, veggie and some noodles(?). It's so good. Highly recommend. I tried Passion Fruit green tea and peach green tea. I asked for no sugar but I think the fruit flavor itself has sweetness inside. I like both flavors. Passion fruit is more citrus.
