For my newest edition to my car fam, I decided to bring it here instead of sitting at the dealership for hours and hours. As you pull up for service, someone comes up and checks you in. They get your name, number, and license plate number. Then, you hop out and leave your key in the car. You have the option of sitting outside, or even inside. Inside is a tight squeeze, but there are multiple seats available. I was quoted an hour and a half. I decided to walk to grandma's house while I waited for Speedee Oil to call. After 2 1/2 hours, I was starting to wonder why I was still waiting. So I headed back over to Speedee Oil.. on my long journey of 5 minutes. When I spoke to the woman behind the counter, it turns out they put my phone number in wrong. Checking out did take about 15 long minutes. They have a new system they were still trying to figure out. They were not able to print me a receipt, but they emailed it to me, so that works. Everyone here was nice, and I even ran into a few people from around town that I know. Although I waited, I was not in a rush that day, so it was not a big deal. So Speedee Oil wasn't Speedee today, but their customer service today and my past experience here is enough to keep me coming back. 2 weeks later, my check oil light came back on. I called the shop and spoke with Sarah, who told me to stop back by at my convenience. It only took her 2 minutes to see that the mechanics forgot to reset my vehicles milage. She fixed that for me and I was on my way.

I checked my receipt and sure enough it wasn't listed as a repair. wanting my Honda spark plug wires back, i went back to the shop and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. I drive a classic Honda. I know wats in my engine but I've had other things swiped out from other auto repair shops as well. I don't trust any auto shop in Auburn anymore except the dealership. I only go there for repairs as I havnt experienced any surprises when my car is returned. I'm a woman and most all auto repair shops treated me as though I was stupid. Honda dealership does not. All I needed was an oil change and coolant flush, and that was going to cost me basically $300. I waited in line for an hour and then service took another hour. I ended up getting just an oil change because they told me I need to take the car to a mechanic for a coolant flush since the engines are delicate (Volvo). I usually do a drive to Green Rider and they never gave me issues with anything regarding the car so I'm confused whether this place just doesn't know how to work on certain cars or what. No one seemed to know how to reset the oil level on the car so the maintenance thing could go away so there's that too. I saw another review claiming they don't know how to work on European cars, maybe that's it? On the bright side though, It's been almost two months since the oil change and a mechanic told me I needed an oil change (8/27/26) and my sticker says return date 9/19/26, so it's sort of accurate I guess. If you don't mind a bit of a far drive and have a European car, I'd definitely recommend giving Green Rider a shot. If they ever spotted any issues on any of my cars, they would let me know. I've taken American, Japanese, and European cars to them and they never gave me issues. The prices are also more fair for the service you get, you definitely won't be spending almost $300 on an oil change and coolant flush and they definitely would be able to give you the service you ask for.

Once it was my turn to pull into the bay things moved pretty quickly. They did the obvious upselling but they were nice about it and not pushy. They explained what it was and moved on when declined. They showed me the brand new parts they were going to install and there was a guy who came around to lubricate all the door hinges (never had that before). Once the new oil was in they showed you the dipstick and closed it up. You get a voucher for a free car wash. They had a coupon code on their site and offered a military discount (which was nice). They give you the next service sticker and here is my very small minor complaint, on the sticker your name is displayed along with your vehicle information. Vehicle info fine, but I think the name is a little much. No big deal I just didn't place the sticker. Overall this is a nice spot with efficient and friendly techs. The price was solid and I wasn't there all day. I'll be back
