Not great. Not cheap. I dont mind paying extra for a good quality meal, but not when I'm being ripped off. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and it was full of sealegs.( imitation crab meat). There were a couple of shrimp , but I felt like they were trying to pull a fast one and cut corners. The taste was sub- par as was the other things we ordered. We traveled from Southampton because we read great reviews. We'll not go back or recommend it. It's too bad. read more

One of the worst food experiences I've had in a long time. Kam Hung was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The chicken tasted old and off, and I honestly felt sick after eating it. The meat quality overall was terrible -- rubbery, bland, and questionable. Nothing tasted fresh, and it really gave "mystery meat" vibes. The staff didn't make things any better. They were rude, impatient, and acted like they didn't even want customers there. Basic friendliness and service go a long way, and there was none of that here. The only thing that was even remotely okay was the wonton soup -- everything else went straight in the trash. I definitely won't be coming back. There are way better options out there. Our recent dinner delivery could be used as evidence of why Kam got hung. That's if Kam was the person who cooked the food. Two stars because the egg roll was pretty good. Boneless spare ribs were dry, chewy and seemed to be frozen/re heated. Tofu w brown sauce was the same way. Rice was sticky and pasty. Fried rice was more gluey that pasty. (Paste is a bit thicker than glue for those of you who don't usually compare your food to adhesives) Everything arrived cold, but we were hesitant to microwave the food (again) So, either go with an all egg roll dinner or try someplace else (good luck to you as we have found ZERO good Chinese restaurants on the North Fork. read more

Used to go here all the time. Very convenient...close to home. We stopped a year or so ago bc the quality had gone down significantly. Last night was hectic so we decided to try again instead of heading to Mattituck as usual. Food was mediocre at best. Lo mein with no flavor. Boneless ribs chewy and over cooked. Hot and sour soup was awful. Lesson learned....worth the extra time to go elsewhere. read more

Great ChInese spot on the North Fork. It is a take out only spot, and they always get your order right. Their good is fresh and quick. Everything we get there is great. The fried rice and the shrimp egg fu yong is my favorite. The egg drop soup has a lot of egg in it. Real good. They are not stingy with soy sauce and mustard packets to go either. The only other good place is further east in mattituck if you want to sit down, but for quick takeout, this is just about it. read more

The best Chinese restaurant by far.... definitely recommend to any one traveling towards jamesport to stop and get their food! Moved from the north fork down to the south shore and make it appoint to travel 40-50 min when i can just for the food... thanks kam hung for great tasting food. read more

Hands down my favorite Chinese joint on the North Fork and I daresay Long Island. I know folks who drive 30+ minutes to come pick up takeout from here. Food is up quickly, cooked expertly, and never fails to fill you up and leave you satisfied. Try this place. You won't be disappointed. read more

We have been looking for the kind of Chinese food we grew up with in Queens for quite a while. Their food is delicious, they have the usual assortment of dishes & their prices are reasonable. They are very fast and always friendly. We have tried various dishes, but especially liked the chicken chow mein and steamed dumplings. We will definitely continue to go there. We went there recently and They aren't as good as they were, very disappointing. read more

The food has always been delicious but I will no longer be ordering from here because they are extremely rude and blamed me for their order mistake. They were then unwilling to fix my order and instead offered to charge me more money to fix the order!! I've also had coworkers and friends that have had similar issues. Ridiculous. read more

The food is great, the customer service... Not so much. I ordered via phone and when I went to pick up the food, they got the order wrong. Not only did they try and get me to pay for the food I didn't order, but I got screamed at in the process. And then they proceeded to try and rip me off. When I said the change they gave me wasn't right, they knew exactly what they owed me without bothering to ask. Sketchy. At least the food is good. read more
