You know when you have four people with different tastes and budgets, and you want to pick up some lunch to go back to the hotel so you can watch the game? Yeah, that was us. And then there was me, with my food sensitivities. I found Kaminsky's, and thought it would be a decent compromise. The business sign is not very big, and the word, "Kaminsky's," is tiny, so look for, "New York Deli." And make sure you're using your GPS to help. This is a small deli, but all the necessary components seem to be there. Their bread is made in a local bakery. I got a Pastrami Reuben on GF bread, and hubby got the Cheesesteak sandwich. I really enjoyed my sandwich; the flavors in the sauerkraut were delicious! A small portion of the pastrami was slightly stringy, though. Hubby was not excited about his cheesesteak. He had expected that the description, "grilled," would mean that the bread was toasted, but it was not. Others in the party seemed to be satisfied with their choices. I wouldn't mind having that Reuben again.

Half of my "Don't forget the lox on my bagel" Capers were under the salmon so they don't roll away. Both sides of the bagel had everything.

We stopped in for lunch and the place was busy with orders (always a good sign). Both the guys behind the counter were extremely friendly and took the time to happily greet everyone who came in and seemed to know a fair number of the customers either by name or by their regular order. I got a "Don't forget the lox on my bagel" and it was amazing. I usually don't finish such a large portion but it was completely gone before I knew it! Others in my party chose different subs and ate those up as well. Overall, definitely will return on our next trip to Myrtle Beach and totally wish they were up North where I live!!!

Great sandwich! Dropped by here and ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was phenomenal. Place was nice with friendly service. Visiting from San Diego, CA would definitely come back here.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. I got the Rueben combo with pastrami and corned beef. It was fantastic, the meat was well prepared and piled high. The wife got a club which was very good. One kid got the cannon special and it surprised me the most. I did not think that peanut butter and bananas on a grilled panini with strawberry sauce would have been so delightful. The other kid got a kids ham which had a ton of meat for a kids meal. All around we will visit again for another round. The shop itself is tucked away between restaurants, and the staff were very polite and attentive.

Delicious sandwiches - come check it out!

Not only is the story really cool (it's always feel-good vibes to hear of a man following his dreams and opening a sandwich shop) but the food itself is a game changer in the area. No matter the craving, Kaminsky's has an answer. From a classic Cuban or Italian to some really fun Portage County options - you can find yourself tasty grub for any mood! Let's just say these sandwiches aren't for the faint hearted (err, the tiny bellies?) - come hungry because this is a giant portion and rightfully so! What better way to reward yourself after a walk, a bike ride or a swim in SC? Take home is always an option, so never fear! Support local, people! It just takes you spreading the word to make a family's dream come true and keep your cravings satisfied along the way! Can't wait to return! So excited for the new owners!

Oh my god... that is the only way to describe the greatest sandwich I have ever tasted. I ordered the pastrami Reuben on sourdough and it...was...amazing. The staff were friendly and very happy to have us in the Deli. Friendly atmosphere with very clean tables, floors and restrooms. I went back on Sunday to eat again, but unfortunately they're closed on Sundays. Order the pasta salad too, it's awesome!

Absolutely fantastic! Great portion size and value. The menu is great but make sure you try whatever special they have. You will never be disappointed. The service is great and they even brought Riley ice cream for her birthday! We will be back

Delicious chicken soup with matzo balls

Justin went above and beyond for my family and prepared my dad's favorite soup for us when my best friend reached out to him from the West Coast. The soup was AMAZING and exactly what my family needed. I will absolutely support this place run by a truly kindhearted person.

Good - decent sandwich shop. Plethor off sandwich options and traditional Jewish options such as pastrami on the.

Good food at reasonable prices...reminds me of the delis I grew up with in NYC... ate outside as inside was pretty drab. Friendly owner.

I stood at the counter looking at the menu--even though I already knew what I wanted--waiting to be acknowledged by the employee, who was counting money at the register. After standing there for about a minute without so much as a greeting, he finally looked up and said, "We're out of bread." I'm not sure how a restaurant that primarily sells subs can be completely out of *all* bread. I asked if they were out for the night, and he simply replied, "Yeah." While I understand it was close to closing time, I find it hard to believe they had absolutely no bread available. It seemed more likely that the employee didn't want to make another sandwich since he was already counting the register for the night. What bothered me most wasn't just being told they were out of bread--it was the lack of acknowledgment, the rude interaction, and being denied service while the restaurant was still open. After I left, I called the store and tried placing an order over the phone. This time, I was told it would take about 15 minutes to make more bread. I said that was fine, but then the employee stumbled over his words and quickly changed it to, "I'm sorry, I mean an hour." The inconsistent explanations only reinforced my impression that they simply didn't want to serve another customer before closing. If making sandwiches 20 minutes before closing is an inconvenience, then perhaps this isn't the right job for that employee.
