Once I got there the system automatically pulled up my info from the license plate and the worker helped me go through. Once I got to the beginning there was a worker that helped me center and pointed to the instructions for how to go through. It was a cool 2 minutes. Only thing for me was that the drivers side had a portion of dirt that was still left on and the back side of my car was drill super dirty. Once I got home I used a waterless car wash spray to wipe it down and clean it. I guess it's better to just have to do the back than the entire car. I was lucky and got the last stall to vacuum. The vacuum was strong and did the job of cleaning the interior of my car. Overall, not bad for $20. I think it would work well if my car wasn't so dirty and you go and wash it weekly. Then the $50/month unlimited pass would be worth it.

What is hard is there is about 8 vacuum stalls during peak hours. Customers either wiping down their cars with the free complimary cloth while waiting for those stalls to open up. The business limit vacuum use for 10 mins so can free up the stalls. You can purchase their microfiber cloth but I bring my Costco microfiber cloth to use. I like the Kapolei location as there are more vacuum/wipe stations available here due to being a bigger location. I'm glad that I have Waipio location which is closer to where I live. The cost for service is $20.94. Card payment only, do not think they accept cash but ask. They have membership option as well. I prefer to wash my car at least once a month if can.

When I came to pick up my car the detailer indicated that he walked into the gas cap cover on my car and broke it off. The owner indicated that they could order a replacement the next week. They made sure they collected the total amount for the detailing, even though they damaged my car in the process. After waiting to be contacted and never hearing back I called several times and got the run around. Finally, after several weeks they said that the owner had just ordered the gas cap cover. When it came in, they said they needed to paint it and they would call me. Sometime later they made an appointment for me to come in and have the cover replaced. The person working that day had no idea I was coming in, had to look for the cover, and try to replace it. The paint job was rough and unprofessional, and the cover was too big to fit my car! After complaining again, the owner said I could have it fixed myself and he would reimburse me. I had to order the part from Korea, which was easy, but evidently not for the Like New Detailing Staff! When it came in, I had it professionally painted and installed. I sent my receipts in for reimbursement, and after several weeks of not receiving the check, I called. They said the check had been mailed. I waited awhile longer and still no check. I don't think they ever prepared and mailed it. I called again. They said I could come to the shop on a Saturday in June and pick up a check. When I arrived, the girl in the office had no idea I was coming to pick up a check and struggled to find my information, although they claim a check was previously issued and mailed. I was finally issued the check after waiting for her to figure it out. This was the second time they made an appointment with me, and when I showed up, they had no idea I was coming or why I was there. It took over six months to get this resolved because of their incompetence and lack of caring. I think they just hoped I would forget about it and go away! Please don't waste your money here!

As was already in the area the original plan was to fill up at nearby Costco though to my surprise the gas station was under construction and as I was low I decided to search for cheap gas and thought that this Shell station was it as it's right across from Kapolei Shopping Center. Very large and spacious and very easily accessible where I once was a regular at any Shell along with T-Mobile you'd get complimentary Gold Status and with sign up on your first fill up $.30 off gas that you're able to stack with other promotion. As I started my purchase there was question of if I wanted a car wash which was interesting as I didn't know they had one and it's right behind the Oil Changer along with entering your member number for additional discount is very handy and at $4.19 it's a pretty good deal to start. They also have trash and squeegee beside each pump a nice feature also that's not available at many stations. Great quality along with great deal to get me on my way with great perks. Thank you!

A couple of years ago, I had a mishap in my previous car where some tubeless tire sealant from a bicycle exploded onto my headliner: white latex-y substance dried on the black headliner. After searching the reviews, I set up an appointment with Joey. He took one look at my car and was like I won't be able to get that out. He could have left it at that but he offered me a detailer protip which worked out very well. Didn't charge me a thing. I knew he was an honest guy from that exchange. I bought a new car a few months later in 2024 so I knew that I wanted Joey to ceramic coat it. I chose the mid-tier Ceramic Pro package. The price was fine and totally in line with other detailers on Oahu. Set up the appointment by sending a message on his website. Joey responded promptly. Super easy. On the day of the appointment, I dropped off my car. Since he needed it for the day, I told him I'd just drop it off while I take the rail back to my side of town. He gave me a ride to the station. It was awesome. Later that day, he says the car is ready but I couldn't make it back that day so I picked it up the next morning. It looked mint. Very sleek, slippery to touch so I knew hydrophobic properties of the ceramic were good. In order to maintain the warranty for Ceramic Pro, you have to do annual follow up sort of maintenance details/washes. That's what I did today in Aug 2025. I contacted Joey and set up an appointment. I dropped off the car and he said he'd be done in 1.5-2hrs. He finished in an hour. The car looks great. Zero complaints. Joey is a solid detailer. The maintenance detail was priced decently for Oahu. No issues there either. I asked if he could do a quick vacuum on the interior which he obliged w/ the cleaning of my weathertech floor mats! He said he topped off the ceramic coating but, to be honest, I can't tell. The car feels slippery to the touch but it always does when clean. The ceramic pro brand ceramic coating held up really well after a year. PROTIP FOR THOSE WHO WILL DROP OFF THEIR CAR AND UBER BACK: Joey *had* a location in Ewa Gentry that still pops up as the *first* search result in the Uber app, so make sure you select the Kapolei location. May seem like a no brainer but I made that mistake TWO TIMES.

When the empoyees are done they usually wave you off and your drive away. I got back to work and thought to check my car and notice that both tires on the driver's side had no trie shine. There were at least 5-6 people there. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I left a $10 tip. Very dissappointing!
