Hi, I was a kamp client for over five years. I withstood the business closing without notice when they lost their lease, many waves of management changes and a nasty virus impacting two of my dogs. Recently, a manager raised concerns about one of my dogs who has always been "high octane" and when I engaged in a constructive conversation with the owner that included my own observations about unsafe drop off procedures, two of my dogs were disinvited from participating in camp anymore (including one kamp had never raised any concerns over). Really disappointing that Kamp would treat a loyal customer this way and after the owner, Gian, represented to me the business day before that he was committed to working towards solution. They've turned into one of those places that is interested in easy dogs and easy money, not longevity of a client base. Goodbye from a good client that paid $600 per month. read more

Our little Chiweenie Bianca has been attending Kamp Kanine for over two years. She loves going there because she knows most of the dogs that are assigned to her area, and has made some BF's. A major positive is that if you need overnight boarding, they have several employees that will take your pup home with them (for a fee, obviously) and return them to KK the next day. All the folks that work there have major expertise with dogs , and it's obvious that they love them. Bianca gets so excited when she sees she is going to spend the day there! My only complaint is that they close at 6pm. I really wish that it was 7pm as I often work late so can't board her there on those days. read more

I feel totally secure and confident in the care she receives when she is there (almost every day). Denelle is an incredibly knowledgeable, experienced dog trainer and a likable, very pleasant as well as smart, educated professional, who my rescue dogs have the pleasure of knowing since many years. We enjoy taking weekly rally obedience classes since 2016 at Kamp Kanine, had a lot of happy fun at agility in the colorful yard, and also took private lessons. Denelle is the only person who can trim my dog's nails. I am so grateful to her, since we tried many groomers before. I take my dogs everywhere. Thank You, Thank You & Thank You Gian and Denelle stepped up big time for my dog Ryder and I yesterday. I was out of town and Ryder was on a group hike (not with KK) and got a stick stuck in the back of his mouth. Ryder has a serious resource guarding issue from his previous owners, So he was not going to let anyone try to remove it. Denelle and Gian came to the rescue. Gian showed up in the van and got Ryder to Veterinary Emergency Group in Encinitas so he could be sedated and they could remove the stick. Gian stuck around to make sure everything was going to be ok. Ryder and I have done several of Denelle's Doggie Socializing Classes and we are now doing E-Collar with her. She has help Ryder and I in so many ways and then they step up yesterday, when they didn't have to. I can not Thank you Gian and Denelle enough for all of your help. read more

They were exceptionally detailed in describing their operation and set up. And, they were willing to help me feel as comfortable as possible by enabling me to experience their kennel environment first hand.
