everything went as well as it possibly could go. I reached out to them over the holidays, and got a reply within an hour. The price quoted to me was pretty dang close to the actual cost. I had them pick up a living room set I bought online but couldn't move myself. They showed up at the seller's place as my proxy and professionally got everything loaded. I even had to be in a meeting at the time they moved it in, so they took care of that over the phone, even the payment. This was our first time hiring movers and we are kicking ourselves for not doing it for every move! We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Kangaroo. They were on time ( early actually!), mindful of our things and made sure all of our items made it from point A to B without a hitch. They even took apart our furniture and put it back together for us! Not only that but they were very personable and professional the entire time...even during a 2 story to 2 story move with multiple awkward staircases and heavy furniture! They handled our Purple mattress with ease - and it has to weigh the same as a baby elephant. If we have to move again, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kangaroo again! read more

Kenneth and Aaron did an amazing job helping me move out of a three bedroom single story home and into a two bedroom, second story apartment in downtown Austin. They arrived early, worked fast and efficiently, were very careful and considerate with all of my belongings, and took apart and put my bed frame back together with ease. They were also extremely flexible with me and their time as we had to wait 30 mins to get keys to my apartment--they had the great idea to start moving stuff up anyway and didn't just stand by. Their rates are also the lowest I've seen from my research!! I will be recommending them to everyone I know and definitely using them in the future! If the low amount reviews scare you, don't let it! Although they got the job done eventually, they forgot my appointment, damaged some furniture, dropped a fragile box from their dolly, and forgot to unload one of our items. They also worked quite slow. But the most unprofessional part is how the manager forgot our appointment (I should've known when I didn't receive confirmation the day prior), and blamed it on truck issues (although the "truck" was in fact a trailer that the movers told me didn't have any issues). I was so incredibly impressed with Kangaroo movers! They responded very quickly to my request on Yelp! and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They were running a bit late because they had a flat tire and they let me know ASAP and they still were able to accommodate us that day after quickly fixing the tire. They wrapped and packaged all of our furniture with care and it all arrived in its original condition. The last movers we had damaged a lot of our furniture (even completely broke a table) so this was such a relief to have reliable movers this time around. I was also really appreciative with how thoughtful they were when moving things through our house. When going around corners, they were really methodical with their movements to avoid dinging any of the walls which meant the world to me considering this is our first home so I want everything to look perfect. I highly recommend their services and will absolutely use them again! read more

These guys are awesome. They. Were really easy to book with, showed up on time. Said they were a little tired cause we were their 4th move of the day, so they brought an extra guy and didnt charge me for it! Every moving company i looked at told me there would be a 120$ travel fee to even come to our apartment, which is right by oak hill towards dripping springs. These guys didn't charge a travel fee, their minimum hours you have to book is 1 hr i think, and their prices per hour are already lower than everyone else. And they were still so amazing! They trucked right through and even wrapped my furniture in blankets for me, which I wasn't expecting. They moved so quickly. They were so nice and so careful. They took out my trash for me! And helped me load some of the things i needed into my personal car. Communication with them was so clear and so easy. Y'all, dont waste your money with other companies. These guys are everything you need. Im immensely pleased and am already hiring them again to empty and move my storage unit stuff for me. read more
