Great water but near impossible to get your machine serviced at the prospective time of year.

Incompetent people work there. They took a month to clean my machine. Another store did it in 4 days. I call asking for account information, and they dont understand what I mean. The rep says-do you want your machine cleaned? I waited 30 minutes just for that, then they hang up on me. read more

So far since I purchased the K8 back in Aug 2020, it's been a good buy, I got on the payment plan, and since then I sent my machine in for service and it was free of charge fixing 3 things. As of today, I sent two emails to the company and in the past they've been compliant. I really don't have anything bad to say. The water has been clean and tastes good and I like having and or knowing I have good water. The downside I've encountered is the independent salesmen on Instagram overly selling the system, a guy such as Chris Cipriano, holding up his distributor plaque as if it's a college degree lol, I dm'ed him and he responded however it wasn't kind at the end when he said he wasn't supposed to be helping me and to contact the sponcer I bought it from, like what ? Sounds fishy to me... sounded like in my intuition that he was jealous that I bought the machine already and he couldn't make any money off me. Be aware and stay woke of money hungry sales people who are high off making money and sales and don't wanna give anything even advice for free. I can tell right away with my intuition. If I could give negative stars I would. I loved my Kangen Machine when I got it 5 years ago. Talk about a company seizing the opportunity to tell their customers to go f*ck themselves during this pandemic. My machine was due for a deep cleaning. One week prior I was in there buying some solution. The following week I went they said they weren't letting anyone in the building. I said I was literally at the door. All they had to do was open the door and take it. They said in order for me to get my machine cleaned I would have to pay $50 to get it shipped. It's a $5,000 machine. I asked if they would take responsibility it my machine was damaged during the shipping process. The guy snickered and said, "NO. Make sure you wrap it really well." For a company that's all about health and having the best water to support that they really show their love during a pandemic. I decided not to move forward with a cleaning that year and risk having my machine destroyed. Now a year later it's time for a deep cleaning again. I made sure to go through their COVID protocols to make sure I don't make a trip to Torrance for no reason. Their website clearly said they don't take same day appointments on Saturday. Today being Tuesday I figured it would be no problem. I was going to be near Torrance. I called at 9a when they opened and asked if they had any available appointments for a cleaning today. They lady goes, "Yeah...we don't take same day appointments." I told her what it said on their website and she said, "Yeah...they need to change that." I told her I did not live in the area and it clearly stated in their website that the same appointment rule only applied to Saturday. Any other decent company would have said it was their mistake and scheduled an appointment for me today. Instead this company said, "Yeah....they need to fix that. We don't take same day appointments." Again force with no choice bc they are the only ones who can clean my machine I now have to drive 1.5 blurs to Torrance tomorrow and try to rush to work on time for them to take 3-4 weeks to clean my machine. I can't wait to see what kind of f*ckery they throw at me next year. I will never promote this company again. The water is great but the price it comes at is not worth it. It's a horrible feeling being at the mercy of a company who takes no responsibility for their mistakes and no concern for their customers who spend thousands of dollars there and also bring in revenue. Do yourself a favor and do not get mixed up with Enagic. I will be reporting them to the BBB I hopes that this will put a stop to their inappropriate business ethics. read more

Was very excited about getting a new Kangen water machine, unfortunately I had an adverse reaction to the water and decided to return it. I thought I would get a full refund because I was still within the 30 day refund policy. What a surprise when they charged me $900. I had no idea there would be a $900 fee for returning it. No one told me about the return policy nor did I ever read it on the contract. My sponsor never said a word about it to me when I told him I had to return it because the water was making my hands and feet tingle and I was feeling terrible. THIS SERVICE CENTER RUINED MY KANGEN MACHINE!!!!! I shipped my KANGEN water machine to this facility in TORRENCE, CA on 4115 Spencer Street at the beginning of September 2021, for a DEEP CLEANING, and to ADD A NEW FILTER and NEW HOSES. When they received my machine, they called to confirm what service I needed. Even though I had called ahead of time to let them know what I needed, and I had included a letter with the order. I also spoke with them again when paying over the phone, to make sure everything was done and included as requested. They finally shipped my machine back on October 8th '21, one month later, and it arrived FULL OF RUST, DIRT, AND STINKY MOLDY WATER!!!!! My machine was in perfect condition when I send it there. I make it a point of taking good care of my belongings, especially this water filter machine, after all, it is "drinking water". Anyone ingesting dirt, rust, or mold will suffer great health issues, and worse! Attached pictures. THE SILVER/METAL FAUCET, FROM WHERE THE "CLEAN" FILTERED WATER COMES OUT FROM, IS COMPLETELY RUSTY, ON THE OUTSIDE AND THE INSIDE, ITS STINKS OF RUST, COMPLETELY RUINED!!!!!!! THERE IS DIRT ON THE BODY OF THE MACHINE, AS WELL AS IN THE CAVITIES ON THE SIDES!!!!!! I COULD HEAR AND SEE WATER INSIDE THE MACHINE, WHERE THE NEW FILTER IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLACED, AND IT STINKS OF OLD MOLD!!!!!!!!! AND, EVEN THOUGH THEY CHARGED ME FOR A NEW FILTER, THEY DID NOT INCLUDE IT - MISSING!!!!!!!!! THIS IS COMPLETELY DISGUSTING, DESPICABLE, AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! I called them this Saturday to get help. Of course, no one answer the phones there, and supposedly the voice greeting said they were closed, but the website and Google said they were open Saturdays. Very confusing. I also emailed and did get an email back from Shizuka their manager, offering me a FedEx shipping label to ship it back to do another cleaning and place the filter..... I thought about it, and somehow this just does not feel right to me at all: This machine is beyond repairable, it is completely full of rust as well as moldy water. This cannot be cleaned, these toxins have now infested the machine. No one knows how long this machine has been exposed to these toxins. Why should I take a chance and drink from this device again, and put my health and life at stake, to give in to this company? And, also, if I decided not to say anything, then I am responsible for not shining light on this. It is a human's responsibility to look out for others. So I choose to speak up and warn others who might otherwise have fallen victim to this and lost their health or life to rusty, dirty, contaminated water filter machines from Kangen Enagic. Today, I decided to look here on Yelp, and see if I am experiencing something others are not. Sadly I see a pattern here. And, I have to echo what the others are stating, that I have also over the years struggled with their beyond rude, dismissive, horrible customer service over the phone and in person at this location. Any time I would interact with their staff there, I would be left feeling like someone kicked me in the stomach. These people do not care about their customers at all. I have to say I was a bit excited when I got my hands on this Enagic sd501 machine. After hearing all the benefits and what it can do for you I was all in. After using it for a few months I noticed there was white residue in the water bottles. Once the water was all settled in the bottle you are able to see little white particles and when I moved the bottle they would all move around. Once I noticed this I called and asked them why this would happen and they said it's based on where I live and what other filters Im was using. I wasn't using any additional filters so they recommended 3 stage filters and that was based on my zip code. So I took in the my machine in for deep cleaning and changed the filter on it as they recommended. $350 dollars later I got my machine back and I was kinda relieved that my unit was back to normal. When I first used my machine they recommended to flush it out for a few minutes before actually using the water. After running the water for about 10minutes everything seemed back to normal. The machine worked fine for about a month. The same issue started happening I called and and asked why it's happening again and the lady in the service department said this is normal and the reason this happens is because of the ionization process of the water. When the water goes through the plates it turns the calcium in the water into white little particles. She said I might need to add a softener on top of the filters I have and that might help. Might help? No guarantee but I can try it she said. Omg, if I knew I had to go through all this I would have never made the invested in this machine. Of course no one tells you all this upfront. I'm very disappointed with this product... I'm writing this so the next person who is planing on investing in this knows what they have to deal with. I just feel like it's a scam! My first experience with Enagic was when they sent me a letter saying I owe them money. I never had (or will have) business with Enagic. I told them I am not their customer. They kept calling and calling. Sent me a copy of a contract, not my address, not my SSN, not my signature, similar name. Very unprofessional and rude. I have no opinion about their product. There is a bad product fist of all this water filter doesn't filter the water smell or hard water at all. Water smell and hard water can come out in your glass. Best water in the world! It's far from my place so when I went, it was quite a trek. Location is unsuspecting, in the middle of a residential area. They have a small parking lot and some easy street parking. Inside, it's straight-forward but with the intent to sell the machines that produce the best water in the world. Machines are on display, with an area where you can get water. Water is free if you have the Enagic containers!! You can buy machines, get your machine cleaned and buy brochures for yourself or to help your Kangen business. I'm a believer in this water. Wish they had a location near me!! read more

Had to buy a replacement part, and ran into several issues. Hard to find the hose that connects to the top of the machine, and I'm still not sure I found the right item, because I still have yet to receive this item. Ordered 12/30/2020, 1/7/21,I receive an email saying the order is complete. I call, and all this means is they have finally shipped the product, and that I should receive it on 1/13/21. I check the tracking information, and fedex is saying 1/18/21. Here is the real problem, I paid $17 for shipping because there was no other option given. A $70, less than 1 pound in weight item costing $17 for shipping. And, I have to wait nearly 3 weeks to receive said item. If anything else breaks on this machine, I will buy from someone else. I purchased an Enagic machine via telephone through a person I knew and felt I could trust. Weeks went by and I never received my machine so I contacted original person to inquire, at the same time I read some reviews and seems company has a bad customer service history so when I couldn't get my machine in a timely manner I opted to cancel. The machine ultimately was shipped to the wrong address (someone entered numbers incorrectly) machine was delivered to a neighbor (recently moved in) FedEx left the machine in their front yard, I was told the $4000 machine had to be signed for but that wasn't the case. The neighbor travels for business so the machine sat outside for days before he discovered it. He opened the package thinking it was something he had ordered then realizing it wasn't and looked at the name so asked around and brought machine to me (open package) I contacted original sales person to tell them what happened. Sent machine back to company to ensure I'd be refunded my down-payment. Meanwhile company CHARGED my bank card without my knowledge causing me to bounce other payments (wasn't expecting charge). I've spent numerous hours trying to resolve the problem. It's been 2 months and my money hasn't been refunded and all I get is "I'll request an email with info " these machines are too expensive for the type of horrible customer service they provide. I really love their water, but their customer service has gone significantly downhill over the last 5years. I am now afraid to go in there and have stopped drinking their water altogether. I am a fitness instructor and used to recommend my clients try their water. A few years ago, they got aggressive about NOT allowing ppl to try their water for free. They put up discouraging signs and limited their trial water. That is when I stopped recommending them. Both my husband and I were onboard to buy a machine up until then, but they treated us like such crap, even as ppl that regularly recommended them, that I cannot in good conscious buy from them.
