Jo Ann is awful. No social skills whatsoever. No smile when meeting me for the first time, no eye…read morecontact while I was explaining where my pain was, brusque, and abrasive. When I asked her to turn the bright overhead lights off and just have lamplight, she dimmed them and said "this is as dim as they go" but as soon as she left the room I realized it was in fact possible to turn them off like I asked, so I did. Who gives a massage in a bright ass room?! No background music. I laid down and she acted like she had never given a massage before. Immediately goes in aggressively and just kept right on going even when I said "ohh!!" This is NOT how massages are done. They always start slow and feel what's going on with your muscles and work their way into deep pressure. She was moving her hands so fast and she dove right in like she was scrubbing barnacles off a whale. Then she asked what my job was, and there are very specific reasons why I do not like talking about what I do, and I deflected VERY politely in the most non confrontational way possible and let her know I prefer to just relax during my treatment and I'm not very chatty. She barked "I NEED to know for your muscles. Because you are very tight. Are you lifting, pushing??" (No shit Sherlock, I know my muscles are tight, that's why I'm here.) I said "No, it's nothing physical like that." I guess she couldn't hear me and she loudly said "EXCUSE ME?" which was super abrasive. I told her I wanted to cancel and just leave because I was so uncomfortable. I had already told her that my last massage was two months ago, but she asked "Have you ever had a massage before??" Implying that it was me that didn't understand the process. I said "Oh yes. HUNDREDS." On her way out the door she flipped on the lights full blast, and that pettiness was not lost on me. The front desk lady came to the door to ask me what happened and as I was explaining, Jo Ann pops her head around the corner and starts defending herself! I had to tell her that I did not want to talk to her anymore and she reluctantly went down the hall. On top of this, the place is janky. It does NOT feel like any spa or massage studio I've ever been to. Cheap. They had space heaters everywhere and said the heat was broken and had been for a while. Said they were waiting to "get enough money to fix it." Uhhhh okayyy. What an absolute shitshow. Jo Ann is a rude bitch with zero understanding of standard practices within the field of massage therapy. They did refund my money which was the only good part.

Today's visit brought to you by continued focus on moi!…read more CryoSauna - Contrast Therapy which began with a whole body cryotherapy for 2.5 minutes in subzero temperatures where my body temp went from 71-41! It's my second time and I made it through vibing to Beyoncé Texas Hold'em! Hoping to see results committing to treatments to decrease inflammation, clearing toxins and metabolic waste. Forward to the CryoSauna where I sweat a tad bit..and with this as stated the infrared therapy should improve lymph circulation, removes toxins and unnecessary water .. Fingers crossed I can make this continued part of my better health journey!

It's so sad that customer service can ruin a business. I initially reviewed this business earlier…read morethis year from a Yelp elite event and thought it was outstanding. Now, not so much. I scheduled a service with Melanie and she was excellent. I scheduled another service for the very next day with her again. The owner booked my appointment. Payment was required upon booking. And I also prepaid for additional services for later in the month and prepaid for those too. I was unable to make the appointment time. Called the owner and asked to reschedule. He said I couldn't reschedule because of the policy. He nor anyone else ever told me about their "unable to reschedule less than 48 hours" policy. That makes no sense when the service was already paid for. No money is lost. I would've even paid a fee but he refused to reschedule me. I was never made aware of the policy - not in the documents that were sent over for signature (release of liability waivers) and the owner never told me. So how is a first time client supposed to know? It's not even posted in by the check in/out area. So I cancelled my future appointments and requested a refund. Which he credited back to my credit card. I will never go back. Horrible customer service. I

You can find literally everything here at Gemini. I left with a new pendelum an evil eye bracelet some special bath salts and detoxes. As well as some new goodies for my sound bowl. They also sell sound bowls here too. My friend and I also tried the salt room spa here and it was pretty relaxing we fell asleep. I just can't get over how much we loved our experience here from the educational aspect from their teachings to just letting us freely look around and shop and be curious beings. I felt so calm shopping here we could've spent hours just looking around. This was a highlight of our trip must say. Such a great experience and great people!
