The place is cozy, homey, and welcoming when you walk in. The concept of it being inside a home is very interesting. The food here is amazing especially their Caesar Salad. That salad was so delicious we wanted to order some to go. Now the reason why this place is getting three stars because 1. The service here is horrible! 15-25 minute wait for our server to come back around and check in on us. It wasn't just us either but it was everyone else in the room. Saw a couple that waited about 25 minutes just to be checked up on after being seated. We also never asked for our bill yet and it was given to us without us asking. We wanted to order more food after our entree. Hence why we never got to order our Caesar salad. 2. This one was the most disappointing part of our dinner. We ordered tiramisu for our dessert, once served I noticed a glossy chunky on it, assuming it was maybe crystallized sugar. Wrong. It was a chunk of ice!! The tiramisu WAS STILL FROZEN!! For 12 bucks I can get some better tiramisu at king soopers, Safeway, or any other restaurant honestly. 3. There was an ant in my drink, and we weren't compensated for that. We paid 4 dollars for an ant drink.

Then, we had the melon salad (very refreshing). We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. This was a really thoughtful touch! For mains, we ordered the tagliatelle with lobster (this dish had a tiny bit of spice, which was fine for us but might catch someone else off guard), and the lamb loin. Both were excellent. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. However, this just speaks to how good everything is, so if you think about it, perhaps it's a good sign!

We normally get the Piatti Di Cicchetti (olives, pickled veggies, and almonds), Piatti Di Salumi (prosciutto, salame, coppa), and the Burrata. They all complement each other SO WELL. Pair that with a white wine and you got yourself a time. The 2 course offering for lunch is also phenomenal. I got the Insalata Mista (lettuce, shallot, reggiano) and it's a decent sized salad and very tasty. The Mafaldine (lamb ragu, pecorino romano) is to die for. Such great flavor and the pasta is always cooked perfectly. The service here is always top-notch too. The staff is very well-trained and is on top of everything. Truly a well-oiled machine. The atmosphere here is impeccable too. You can tell that everything was thought of for a great experience: lighting, table layout, decor, etc. It is a great place to bring a significant other, business customers, etc. I cannot wait for my next visit to Tavernetta and I was just there a few hours ago!

We split two Primi dishes: their special of the day pasta, and the Cappellini Aglio e Olio. The Cappellini was amazing--a perfect blend of Indian spices, breadcrumbs, and another 63 ° egg. Yum. If you love scallops, the Capesante dish is not to be missed. These were some of the sweetest, perfectly prepared scallops I have had.

It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good. This place is fucking amazing! Where do I begin? The $2 Odell drafts on Thursdays? The phenomenal garlic bread? The vegetarian options...hmmm....Yes, this is a fine establishment! The ingredients they use are some of the finest, coming from local places like the garden out back and Grant Farms just south of Fort Collins. This is quite the gem in the heart of South Pearl...not only do you not have to wear your fancy clothes, but the staff doesn't have their noses up in the clouds like most South Pearl businesses. Very cool, laid back spot in east wash park. All ingredients taste very fresh and organic. I'm not a big GF person, but they have extensive GF offerings. Heirloom tomato salad did not disappoint, 3-4 different types of amazing tomatoes, large pieces of fresh mozzarella topped with an aged balsamic I would happily have put on anything from pizza to ice cream. Also, an amazing happy hour with two dollar odells pints during happy hour, can't think of a better deal for local beer snobs. A Monday night and the wait for a table was more than 30 minutes. Parking was a huge challenge. The waitress was helpful with our order, making several suggestions regarding the menu and beverages; however, beyond that she was less than impressive. She served my S. Pelligrino Limonatta in the can with no glass or ice, stated she would go get me a glass with ice, then disappeared for more than 5 minutes before I spotted her to remind her of her oversight. We stumbled upon this place while moving into our new home. Our family was helping unpack and everyone was starving. I quickly got on my phone to find pizza places near our house with good reviews. We ordered several pizzas and a few sandwiches, and WOW were we surprised. The food was fresh and made with quality ingredients. Now, my husband and I absolutely love Kaos Pizza! Delivery is always fairly quick and the staff is awesome, especially when we give them a large complicated order over the phone. Yes the wait is long, but isn't that a good sign? I've been coming to Kaos since the beginning, and never once have I ever had food short of delicious. Their patio is gorgeous and pleasant to sit on in the summer, and inside is just as pleasant in the winter. The employees may be a little hipster, but they all are knowledgable and kind. BUT we all come here for the food. The natural, farm to plate pizza is always delicious. And the sandwiches and pastas are the same. They give an authentic feel that is well worth any wait. I've eaten here many times over the last couple years and it is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. We tend to get a couple pizzas and salads to share as a table and we've never been disappointed. They also have a great beer selection and great happy hour beer prices. I love that they offer new and fresh menu ideas that change seasonally. If you like thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients then you'll love it here! Also, I highly recommend eating outdoors. Just received my delivery order (40 minutes after the initial estimated time). Got part of it wrong (I'd ordered a wild mushroom pizza, got plain cheese). Tried to call the restaurant to inform them but am only getting a voicemail saying "We are closed tonight to celebrate Halloween - Happy Halloween and call back tomorrow." Super cute atmosphere, with a unique pizza menu! We started with the caesar salad, best dressing I've had in a while and the portion was very generous. For our pizza's, we ordered the spicy italian sausage (red sauce) and the prosciutto (pesto sauce)- phenomenal. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The staff was attentive and kind. pretty cool pace outside, we were sitting at the fire pit and they brought me the pizza, even though its really not a table, the pizza was good, crispy more Neapolitan style than NYC, light on the cheese and the sauce taste like they use san marzano tomatoes. The have a pretty good beer selection and i had a couple of sours. I will say there are too many kids running around for me but overall all, a pretty good place to sit outside to drink and eat. read more

My Caesar salad, which cost me $10 arrived on top of the baked ziti. Baking in the bag. It arrives not just warm, but hot. It's also the smallest, wettest salad I've ever seen. For $10 it's absolutely wasted. The tiramisu so comes looking melted and deflated. My lady delivery was bad, decided to give it a second chance tonight and it's easily one of the worst meals I've wasted $50 on ever. I don't l typically leave bad reviews but this was absolutely terrible

Service was excellent- very friendly, although they probably could have used a third person to assist. I enjoyed the industrial chic decor, as well as some of the neon lights. The inside is cute. They have tvs to watch the games too. Overall, I would consider coming back if they turned the ovens down a little. Especially for happy hour.

I thought they a few other locations, in fact 5 including Colorado Springs Nice menu. I started with a Mezcal Negroni for only $10. After sipping on this strong drink. I got a half size Greek salad and a 12" The Big Fizz pizza on a cauliflower crust. That's 8 slices. The Big Fizz is a meat lovers pizza with ground beef, pepperoni, Polidori Italian sausage, salami with onion, black olives, green pepper and mushrooms. The half Greek salad was great. Just the right amount of pepperoncini and feta cheese with a Greek vinaigrette. The pizza arrived before I finished the salad. No skimping on quantity of toppings. Each table has additional condiments like chile flakes and parmesan cheese. I added chile flakes for some heat. I ordered my Negroni at the bar, then the server came over to take my order. Plenty of seating options, including the bar. The AC was working well, but not overchilled. This location is near the northwest corner of the Baker neighborhood. I joined their Funky Frequency Rewards Program.
