The six week challenge was an amazing experience. I have never done anything like this before. The team at Kapatid Martial arts made it so easy. They provided the encouragement and motivation to keep me and everyone going. The first week was the hardest as it was all so new but my coach kept me motivated and would not let me give up. After the first week it became easier and easier, a lifestyle that I would not change for anything now. I use to have bad acid reflex, and have stomach issues, which have all gone away with this program. I learned to eat the right foods, and correct portions at the right time. Having the receipts provided to follow made it all so much easier. The workouts are amazing as you get a complete 100% body work out in just 1 hr, with stretching before and after included. I don't know about you but I use to spend at least 2 hrs in the gym or more trying to figure out how to get it all in. Now it is brainless, one hour and you are done! Best part is that one hr flies by as you are working hard and having a blast. I lost just under 10lbs and have dropped a size or two (depending on the brand), all within my 4th week. More importantly then the pounds for me was the inches off my waist which were very noticeable to me immediately. I struggle with love handles badly and these went away completely as though they just melted away. This again is all in less then 1 month. I don't endorse many things, if any at all, but I cannot endorse this program and this team enough and tell you that this program works and it is fun, and educational as well. You are not taking any supplements, you are not starving yourself, and most importantly you are not counting calories (ugh how do people live counting calories???) Give it a try, the worse that can happen is you gain a better understanding about what you are eating and loose a few inches off your waist line as well. read more

I just finished my 6 week challenge and I cannot properly express in words how happy I am with my results!! I lost 9.4lbs and 5.5% body fat following the diet and exercise plan. I have been kickboxing at this gym for about two and a half years now and I continue to tell people how much I love it. Pat, Ricky and Jackie are the reason I keep coming back to class. They are my inspiration and motivation! They are what make this gym unique and worthwhile. They are so supportive, informative and motivating and that is what sets this gym apart from the others. Since joining their gym 2 and a half years ago, I've lost a total of 22 pounds and I am in the best shape of my life. I have learned healthy eating habits, how to properly do exercises without injuring myself and with the support of others I can succeed. The classes are not easy but they are always fun and you feel so accomplished after each work out. I have become more confident in all aspects of my life. I love knowing I have a family of people at Pleasantville 6 week challenge who will be there to support and push me to be the best I can be. I fully recommend this program to EVERYONE, whether you are in shape or extremely out of shape or you were never in shape to begin with (that was me) This place has a plan and a formula that works; fitness, nutrition, accountability and an amazing staff. Here's the deal. Friendly staff, clean facility, nice members, and everyone is encouraging especially the instructors! I responded to an ad they had on Instagram promoting a 6-week challenge to lose weight and/or body fat. I entered the challenge with a goal of losing some weight. I was always an athletic person, but life took me by the hand and I was leading a sedentary lifestyle for over 15 years. They gave me a nutrition plan to follow that was high in proteins and low in dairy and sugars. I followed the plan to a tee, and did the group work-out at the facility 3 days/week as instructed. Result? I lost 24.8 lbs and 6.8% body fat If you have determination and are able to follow instructions, there is no reason that anyone can not achieve the goals that are set for you. Weekly weigh-ins, follow-up calls/texts from the instructors to see how you're doing, and working out at your own pace...all made the Challenge a 5-Star experience. I have since joined on a monthly membership and look forward to living a healthier life now that Kapitad Martial Arts/ P6 6-wk Challenge have helped change my behavior. Highly recommended! read more

P6 Challenge was awesome for me. I lost 2lbs the first week but then maintained the rest of the time. I didn't have a lot of body fat to begin with. I joined basically for endurance and to get healthy. I wasn't looking to loose weight but more for strength and getting fit. The challenge was awesome for me to follow through on a 3 day exercise regimen and to keep me in tact with my meals. Plus hitting a punching bag was definitely a good stress relief...LOL. Something about wearing Boxing Gloves gives you that powerful kick-ass feeling. The team at P6 were awesome! They totally kicked my butt in line. Loved them. At the beginning of this year, I started to not feel well. As someone with diabetes in their family, I worried about developing it. I recently gained weight and I started to worry about my health. I decided to try the P6 challenge because I was a member of Kapatid and loved the classes. Pat, Jackie, and Ricky were there to support me throughout my six-week journey. I finished my 6 weeks challenge. I lost 8 pounds and about 2% body fat, while I didn't reach my goal weight/body fat I definitely feel a difference in my energy, how my clothes feel and just generally better about myself. It has changed the way I eat and how I understand nutrition and I plan on continuing with it, now that I have seen the results. Everybody was so nice and it was an awesome support system! P6 Challenger - I have been part of the 6 week challenge that they offered and it has been a great transformation for me, both physically and emotionally.... the program offered customizing of a food plan that was appropriate to what my goal was and the coaches are great...
