We owe so much to KIHA! Less than a year ago, our three boys were struggling with confidence and to find their something special. I found KIHA with random Google search of fun things to do. Doug Jones put my boys on skates and pushed them not to fear. In less than 2 months, I had three boys that skated like they have been doing it for years! They are all so happy and so confident now! We have hockey 3x a week and my boys complain it isn't enough lol. We cannot thank KIHA, Doug Jones, Richard, Lee Sweatt, and all the other badass coaches enough for all that they do and have done for our family in 2025. So excited for another year with KIHA!

Easiest party venue -- ever. Their online booking is so efficient and easy to navigate. You input all the party details and it calculates everything. I love how the party package is inclusive. You get pizza, hotdogs, ice cream, drinks & water. All the utensils are provided and decor is included too! Kyrae & Allen took such good care of us. I was able to get in contact with Allen about last minute party decor requests and Kyrae was assigned to our area. She was so kind and helpful. Right now, KIHA is allowing outside food, as long as you pay a fee. It was a great place to have fun and a unique venue for a party. We loved it so much, our toddler is already asking to go back.

Kids wanted to roller skate so went to KIHA... Sunday 2pm-4pm session. First time in KIHA... observing parents or non-skaters are free. Coming in here brought me back to my childhood memories of Ice Palace. KIHA is nice... music, colorful lights, AC, skate shop, food and seats on the second floor (party area). Just wished there were more seats for observers along the main rink. Fam had a great time... beginner to experienced skaters enjoyed. After, we all headed upstairs for pizza, nachos & soft serve. Nice afternoon with the fam at KIHA.

You need 4 quarters to play... if not you need change from only downstairs at main check in area

We hosted a party for our 7 yr olds birthday party and it was a hit! We love the fact that they have skates (roller or inline) for rental and that there's a night disco DJ. Super clean and lockers to keep your stuff... bring your own lock to save from renting a lock. The pizza was ok but the nachos tasted better. The tables to rent for a party package are upstairs away from the roller area so if you reserve the 6pm slot you won't have seats to look over the skating area.... You still can't see the beginner area either way. They decorate the tables and provide plates, cutlery and napkins. If you bring your own food they add 10% to the total.

Doug, Allen, and Julie have been amazing hosts at KIHA! We have had a great time every single time we visit. KIHA has uplifted and supported our children by welcoming them by name, giving them high 5s, and even as far as remembering that I needed my daughter to be out early for ballet class. We go to KIHA for regular skating sessions and for hockey practice. It's been almost 3 months straight and every single time we go, it has always been a positive experience on the rink and off! This is the best place for good fun and birthday parties!

Awesome place for kids and adults to have fun. Prices are fair but need to work on food menu. Loved it!!

The coaches consistently take the time to stop, correct form, and give the kids opportunities to grow and improve. Every correction is done in a positive and encouraging way, which really motivates the players to keep getting better for themselves, their coaches, and their teammates. I'm very happy with the coaching my kids are receiving and the support they get not only from their coaches but from their teammates as well. Because many of the coaches are also parents, it's clear they genuinely want to see the kids succeed, and that really shows in the way they coach. When we decided to switch hockey programs on Oahu, my kids and I were welcomed with open arms. I'm incredibly grateful they had room for my kids and treated them as aspiring players from day one. I highly recommend this program to any family looking for a supportive, positive, and development-focused hockey experience for their kids.

They offer free learn-to-skate for the keiki and offer a youth/adult league for those who are ready to play. HiHi taught my 5 year old how to skate and she loves it! She is now a part of the beginner hockey program and practices & plays games amongst other kids of her level. My 13 year old son has also joined their 14u division and he loves it. He is always looking forward to practice and his games. HIHI does play on an outdoor rink and while they're working hard to get permitting for tiles and coverings, we are at the mercy of the elements (mainly rain / storms). The coaches and parents at HIHI are completely devoted to this program - they are there almost everyday coaching practice, coaching games and mentoring the keiki. They also offer pick up games throughout the different weeknights (and weekends after games) - open to anyone who wants to play. It's a lot of fun to be a part of - I have even started learning to skate and play hockey alongside my husband and kids - it's become a whole family affair! Being a part of HIHI is a family affair! We all had a nice visit overall, however, when my son and his two friends entered they had a very bad experience and were treated horribly by Gia. My son and his 2 friends arrived before us. Gia opened the door and asked if they were over 18 to which they responded that yes, they are 18. Probably a policy and procedural question that is asked when people look younger. They then explained that the rest of our family, including two children, were on the way and would be joining us. Gia's responded with a very rude and dismissive, "I don't care." Extremely unprofessional and uncalled for, especially if she's the person right at the entrance when you enter this establishment. While they waited near the front for the rest of our family to arrive, she continued giving them dirty looks which made them feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. It was very disappointing to say the least, especially since we were there to celebrate a special occasion and first birthday with our family. There was absolutely no need for the attitude from Gia. Management should think about who they're putting at the front entrance and should really consider the employees who are professional, kind and respectful at the front instead of rude employees like Gia. Thankfully, the rest of our visit was okay, but the poor customer service my son and his friends experienced when we first arrived left a very negative impression.
