If it's raining, they'll cover their arrangements but also call to see if you'll be home soon or if they should leave it for you at the shop, etc. I am so happy with that because Lori did provide this level of service on their busiest day, Valentine's Day. I ordered a corsage and boutonnière from there this past weekend and I don't normally leave reviews but I was very disappointed. First the roses looked dead The rose on the boutonnière snapped off it didn't even make it through pictures. I managed to get to stay for a while and during that time the petals just kept coming off. Every Monday in German class in the year 2002 I would hear of a fellow students weekend and it always included "ich habe gearbeitet bei Fred's Flowers" (I worked at Fred's Flowers). This spot has been part of the community for years - come by to check it out. This is a unique - non cookie cutter spot that my parents have been going to for a long time. The quality of the flowers are super - and they last a long time. I remember some roses from here that lasted and looked fresh for a week. I'm sure every flower is different and you shouldn't necessarily expect that but I could guarantee better quality than average. As you walk in the place will just have you in awe for a moment. There are huge fridges filled with flowers, gifts all around, an upstairs spot I think just for workers... sensory overload but in a good way just as you enter. My parents were able to send flowers here to Germany and I just sent some to a more local place. If it is super close they send them directly - if you send flowers they outsource. Very friendly experience and the spot to take care of you holiday center pieces. I like unique family owned places like this. There is Aggies next door that I remember going to as a kid a few times 20 years ago after going to the movies across the street that is now Target. Ceasers chicken and the Pizza Joint are now gone but Freds and Aggies - what seem to be two small family businesses are still here for you to support. read more

Thankful for Fred's service. I made my order on Sunday and they quickly created the flowers to be delivered on Monday. They're quick and professional. More than that, the reason why I'm giving them 5 stars is because they're very gracious. I accidentally gave them the wrong delivery address. To fix it, they made to call me to get the right address and willingly delivered the flowers the next day to the correct address with no extra charge, even when I offered! Poor service. We made several attempts to confirm delivery and the owner did not get back to us for 2 days at which time he said the flowers were handed to the recipient at 3:30 on Feb 14th. This is not true. The recipient found them on her porch after 10:00 pm on the 14th. When we ordered we made the mistake of allocating $21.00 for a tip on a $200.00 order. Never should have allocated the tip before delivery. We were robbed. Never using this florist again. read more

Fred's is awesome!!! I would like to share my pleasant experience about them. I did some researches on some flower shops near my neighborhood as I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for our very first Valentine's Day this year. I came across Fred's, and my eyes were locked onto them. I went to the store and ordered a flower arrangement about a couple weeks before V-day. It was then scheduled to be delivered to my girlfriend on that day. Finally that day came and flowers were delivered to my girlfriend in the afternoon. She was so happy and surprised, and she really loved the flowers arrangement. It did brighten our Valentine's Day, and we were so thankful to Fred's. But when I saw the flowers, it was somewhat different than what I pre-ordered (also as seen from their web-site). So I decided to give them a call the next day to sort things out. So I gave Fred's a call in the morning the next day and I spoke to Erin. I gave her a big compliment about the flowers arrangement that they delivered to my girlfriend, and I mentioned about my concern about the order as it was quite different than what it was supposed to be. Erin immediately apologized for the troubles and she said she would check into the order and see what happened. She also promised they would send out a compensation order to my girlfriend as soon as they could. To my surprise, the compensation was done promptly in the early afternoon the same day. The second flower arrangement was equally beautiful as the original order, and my girlfriend definitely loved it as well. I also called back the store and asked for Erin to thank her for this fantastic gesture and great customer service. Thank you so much Erin and everyone at Fred's, as your products and service definitely brightened up our first Valentine's Day and also made it so memorable. As the review stats below, this place has been here for years. My sister recently graduated from middle school and my mom and I were part of the graduation committee. We went to Freds to get quoted for three arrangements that would be displayed on the stage. We let them know we were on a tight budget and would appreciate any discount they could give us. We ended up ordering one main centerpiece and two side ones. The arrangements had irises and roses. We asked them to stick to the school colors of black, purple and white. The arrangements were beautiful, and the total came to $175! It was such a great deal, and very considerate of them to offer the school a discount. The morning that we went to go pick up the flowers I had more time to look around at the shop and they have some really beautiful arrangements. As we were leaving one of their delivery drivers helped us load the flowers into the (small) trunk and showed us how take the arrangements out without damaging them.
