Soooo tasty!!! Food that feeds the soul. I love gravy and this place was hitting the spot. They have a great lunch special and you can switch out the hash browns for the soup. Loved the taste and the service was friendly :). Ambiance brought me back in time.

Don't confuse this Karen's Kitchen with the one on 50th in Quartz Hill. This one can't make a good breakfast like the real place.

Inviting atmosphere, good food and great service. Nice country restaurant. Tuna salad was great and the veggie omelet was great too.

My mom got the chef salad and I tried a bit of her ranch and it was insanely tangy, and it took me off guard. She didn't mind it but she wasn't in love with it either. My dad really enjoyed his sandwich though and he would absolutely get it again. Personally I preferred the grocery store it was in over the restaurant. The ambiance was fine. It was cute and small. But again didn't impress me. The waitress was super sweet and she was the only one working and still took her time with us and always checked in for us. I would come for the grocery store and the bakery but not for the food. I will add I did get a keto cupcake from the fridge and that was amazing! That was a win for me so I am very happy with that! Overall, it was nice to try it but I probably wouldn't go again. And if I do go again it's for the grocery store and for the bakery items because the bakery was mouthwatering!

First off, the hash browns are really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love hash browns and this one did not disappoint. I got a breakfast combo with eggs, avocado, ham and cinnamon French toast with strawberries and bananas. I thought the ham was going to be Canadian bacon but it was a big piece of ham. I didn't like the ham, but everything else was delicious. Their cinnamon French toast is made in like a cinnamon roll which was really good! The banana French toast was also a hit! Fluffy and sweet deliciousness! I forgot to take a picture, but we also got the pancakes with a side of strawberries and Nutella. All the food was homestyle comfort food that was simply delicious! As you walk in you are greeted by a very friendly staff, the entry way also leads you to the bar top seating area facing the kitchen. Within the main building you will find many booths and table options, they have many interesting art pieces and decor. It's a classic diner atmosphere with friendly staff. The food options are many, from Mexican classics, Burgers, Sandwiches and many other options. The meals are all made to your liking without any pushback around extra costs. The food quality was very high, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, they were very authentic with a tomato sauce and sauteed onions and peppers, not spicy but I did ask for their home salsa and it brought up the spice level, the dish is served with homemade rice and beans, all well cooked. I also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon for my dad and they were perfectly cooked. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and worth the visit. I have shared my experience with my friends and family in Lancaster.
