Was happy to finally get a diner close by work but the prices are kinda high for what you get. I just spent $12 on a Caesar salad and i threw half of it in the trash. The dressing is super sweet it's almost a balsamic that looks like a caesar dressing and tastes like it belongs on top of a cake and not a salad. It was a busy day at noon here in the kitchen. That meant we got slow service. Hubby had had the special omelette and that was good I had a waffle with fresh fruit versus frozen fruit warmed up. Ice tea tasted good. I'll go back and help service is faster next time! read more

This place is sooo good!! Hamburger steak was excellent!!! Hash browns just as I ordered. Eggs spot on. My grandsons French toast was delicious. Liz was our server and was very polite and sweet. She helped us decide our orders. She was always at the ready with the refills etc. do not pass this place up. read more

I ordered the meat lovers breakfast burrito. This burrito was jammed packed with sausage beacon and egg. I absolutely HATE it when places nothing but hash browns inside; this burrito has very little hash browns(filler). My brother ordered a waffle that was just the right amount of crunch to it. He loved it. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat some nice breakfast meal. read more

Moved to the "West side" a year ago - finally got around to paying a visit to KK#3. Amy, our waitress was kind and attentive. Food was fairly priced and coffee was fresh and flowing. First time coming here and last, i had breakfast with my mother and had a good greeting but once served the food we only sat for 5mins, the waiter already brought the check without asking us if we were ready. I felt very unwelcome and made me lose my appetite. read more

If I could leave a - I would. Wasn't comfy seeing employees not wearing masks, and they prepare our food like that. I asked the waitress and she said they never wear masks and no one has complained. Would have left but was there with friends I wasn't driving. Have a slight tummy ache. Never going back, at least to that location. Not happy. read more

Tonight, I went with my best friend for dinner. This was our second time eating at this location. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I also tried a cup of Albondigas. It was the best I've ever tasted. The sauce on the Fettuccine was delicious. It came with garlic toast and it was perfectly toasted and was very tasty. Our server was Kim and she was very attentive, kind and enhanced my friend's dinner by suggesting she try the Au Jus for her Ortega Chili roast beef sandwich. She enjoyed it very much. I am so happy that they opened this location. It's convenient and the staff are wonderful. The cook is amazing. He definitely knows what he's doing. Till 9pmKim was my waitress I wanted to try something different I was welcomed as I came in happy to see they had everything even if I wanted breakfast I could have that but I choose Salmon comes on top of spinach and mashed it was so delicious , came with soup or salad , I received my salad before the meal, and hot meal came out hot in a timely manner! The food is xlnt and I will go back, but the service is hit & miss. A few weeks ago I went there for the first time with my girlfriend. We ordered an omelette which we split with no problem. They brought the meal on a small platter and brought a dinner plate so that we could divide the food. Yesterday we went, ordered an omelette which we wanted to split. They brought the food on a similar platter, but they also gave us a small dessert plate, the same size as the one with our toast. They claimed that was all they had. Really? I am supposed to put half of an omelette and half of the country potatoes on this saucer? And the place is practically empty, I am supposed to believe that they do not have a clean plate? I am offended that they lied to me. I am offended by the poor service. When I questioned the server, she blamed the dishwasher. Strike one. read more

I decided to give Karen's Kitchen #3 a try. The servers are very nice and attentive. In my opinion they are $2 over priced for each meal. I had the pancakes, bacon and eggs, wasn't disappointed but I have had better in the AV. Will probably be my first and last visit but I'm glad I gave them a try. I always support a new business opening in the AV at least once. read more

Don't confuse this Karen's Kitchen with the one on 50th in Quartz Hill. This one can't make a good breakfast like the real place.

We couldn't wait to try a country type meal and so we went in to try it. I ordered a hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. That was the worst meal I think I ever had. I've had a lot of hot Turkey sandwich but never like that. It was made from the thinnest sliced Turkey that was made for lunch meat. The meat didn't taste good at all the gravy didn't have any favor and the potatoes didn't have any favor either. A total waste of money, I won't be back. read more

I love this little place. I know there are several Karen's Kitchens, but it's still nice to have non big chain restaurants around. Everyone here is very friendly, the food is great, and it is always super clean inside. It's a small spot, very home, and even when crowded they move quickly. Really appreciate the addition of a dine-in option to that shopping center! Food is typical American/diner style, maybe priced a little on the high end but I don't mind because the service is great and it seems to be family owned. read more

This was our first time going to this diner. My boyfriend and I were in the area and we couldn't decide what we wanted for dinner. We finally agreed to order take out and while we were waiting, the sweet gentle lady was so welcoming. I believe her name was Vanessa. On top of the excellent customer service the food was amazing.
