I can't stop staring at my puppy. He just got back from Pupwash911 and looks like a super stud! What's even more amazing- he smells extremely good! I keep wanting to smell him. I'm soo glad I found this place for my little monsters, i mean children! While attending Pantera park's annual halloween festival, I came across Pupwash's booth. The booth was well decorated, and the owner, Jessica quickly offered me a tour of her van, which sold itself. Clean, spacious, bright, and happy, I could easily see my dogs being well taken care of here. The level of detail she put into her van and the pamphlet she handed me next assuaged the worries I usually have taking my dogs to the groomers. Later, while perusing her instagram and blog, I could already feel the passion and care she put into her business, and couldn't wait for my dogs to meet her. I have taken my Pomeranian puppy to the groomers to get his hair styled, and the vet to get his nails trimmed, and had a bad experience with both places. My baby came back angry, scared, and traumatized. They put him in a cage for a long time at the groomers to wait his turn even though he had an appt. He was only a few months old at the time and had not been used to this treatment and got scared. The haircut they gave him was an ugly standard dog trim.. when he's a Pomeranian and should be styled differently by his breed! They also roughly held him down to get his nails trimmed at the vet, and clipped them super jagged. Since those two bad experiences, I never took my dogs to the groomers, I washed them and blow dried them myself about once a week. I was drawn to the mobile pet wash because 1) they wouldn't have to wait in a cage for their turn (many groomers quoted me a long wait time) 2) They could be taken care of in my driveway where I could check up on them 3) It was actually only $15 more expensive than most of the groomers I had talked to. It was $60 for a wash and $15 more for a haircut, (most grooming places were around $60 flat for wash and haircut.) I am so glad I made the decision to go to Pupwash! When I checked up on my pom puppy getting washed and blow dried he actually looked happy! The door to the mobile wash was wide open, and he looked calm and excited. It was such a surprise and relief! He usually throws a tantrum when I blow dry his hair or cut his nails, but he was doing really well in Jessica's hands. He came out looking really cute and handsome! He had a big smile on and a cute orange bow around his neck. I might sound crazy, but I will only choose a dog walker/ sitter/ park/ groomer based on how happy my dogs are after the experience. Both my Pomeranian Wagyu and Min Pin Bella were both very happy and calm during the experience. I know they were in great care and can't wait for my puppies to get groomed again! It's hard to find a groomer / facility that our pup will be comfortable with. He would usually come home and throw up for a few days. I found this business through yelp and I am really grateful that I did! We have a senior dog who is 14 years old and has trouble walking due to arthritis and limited mobility. She is not very active due to this and her nails had outgrown. We had tried multiple times to cut them ourselves but had failed so we knew we had to get her professional help. Our dog is unable to go vehicles easily so having a groomer come to our home was a blessing! Jessica was very friendly and was quick to respond to our request especially given our dogs circumstances. She was very understanding of our dog, Starbucks, needs. You could tell she really cared about our dogs comfort being a senior and all. Starbucks was unable to enter the grooming vehicle due to the height, and Jessica was quick to offer grooming her in the backyard to make it easier for our dog. Unfortunately, she stopped responding to us and just went MIA completely and we don't know why or what happened. Have tried texting, email and Yelp message but have not received a response. A little sad because we now have to start looking for someone new again and it would have been nice to have gotten at least a response when we've been using her service since March of last year.
