Stopped by for a quick drink. Have visited this location before. Great vibes rooftop & the weekends the music is great! We didn't order any food. Just drinks at the bar & the service was a +

Hot hot hot during the summer months....the fans only seemed to circulate hot air. The server was super upbeat and hyped us up. She even interacted more than the average bartender. I think I enjoy the atmosphere better in the evening but a cool place to go for a Sunday happy hour.

Located on the corner of Andrews and Las Olas, this rooftop bar has been serving Ft. Lauderdale for a while now. I have come at night time and early happy hour and both have had a different vibe. Both good just depending on what you are looking for. Night time is more party, dj playing, loud conversation, lot more people. Early happy hour is definitely quieter, chill, more able to have conversation but still happening. They have some creative cocktails as well as classics depending on your tastes. I've only tried the truffle fries for their food and they were standard/good. The views are nice of downtown but weather definitely has to be taken into account if you are going especially as we head into summer in SoFlo!

Walked by the entrance one night and saw people checking in going up an elevator. Then realized a week later my sister booked the rooftop for my cousin's birthday party and the place is a vibe!! ++Avocado Hummus ++crispy mozzarella ++buffalo chicken empanadas ++berry beauty cocktail The service was great; the girls are awesome! The drinks were strong and the bar bites were delicious. It gets busier at night, of course but we were happy with the spot and views!

The food portion was small, but plated very well. The service was great, the vibe was cool. The view was nice.

Strolling down Las Olas, I came across Roof Top@1WLO and decided to check it out. They have a security guard in the lobby who guided me to the elevator. Once at the Roof top, you can glance down and admire the panoramic view of the city. The roof top area was actually very elegant with modern decor, plenty of greenery, lounge seats and a large bar area. I sat at a small table by the main bar and ordered the beef tips skewers and parmesan truffle fries and a couple of cold beers. Pretty good all for $40 tip included. Waitress was friendly and fast. The place had a Dj and it is a perfect venue for private events and gatherings.

Nice rooftop lounge with an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Views may not by the best compared to other rooftop bars and lounges as it's not as the location is not as high likely but it provides great relaxing ambiance. As you enter the private elevator, door open up to a refreshing rooftop with a live dj, plenty of seating and tables an comfortable cozy areas with a full bar. Love the limited food menu options and happy hour and Sunday brunch specials! Nice drink menu with a variety if specialty drinks. Service was fast and our waitress was bubbly and friendly We only ordered simple appetizers and everything was great. Fries were not overpowering with the truffle flavor as many places serve them that way.... It was perfectly seasoned and flavorful an it was extra crispy which was a plus. The skewers were also good. Not as tender as expected but very flavorful. Overall, a nice lovely spot to enjoy an evening or early Sunday afternoon that provides a relaxing atmosphere!

When partying in Broward county, there are certain places that are a must. If you're a Broward resident The Rooftop @1WLO is a rite of passage. It's one of those venues you just have to explore, and get to know. If you are visiting, it is a staple that must be enjoyed, as every will definitely ask you at one point or another if you want there. The last group I went with was composed of residents and visitors. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and had a blast getting to visit our old stomping grounds. The service was friendly, and quick. The drinks were perfectly mixed. I didn't order food, but my friends did. I will definitely try it next time around. All in all, we had blast. I highly recommend visiting the Rooftop!

Great atmosphere. Large space outdoors and under cover. You arrive and have to get let into an elevator to access the rooftop. Great DJ, and lots of space to socialize. We made reservations to be in 1 of the fun exclusive areas. Unneccessary but fun for a night with the girls. Food, drinks, fun digital marquee board + bottle of moet. Great night out!!

Fun, dynamic, and colorful vibe - excellent craft cocktails and delicious food. LOVE the weekend happy hour specials too. The DJ was on point and the staff were friendly and hospitable. This is a great people watching place, a true mix of different generations and everyone looking fabulous. Best to go right before sunset for golden hour and the nighttime colorful city lights are a great backdrop. Would DEF come here again.

Rooftop @1WLO is small, but it has a great energy. Being on a rooftop gives it a nice view. Partially scenic, though some of the view is other rooftops. That said, the atmosphere makes up for it. The food and drinks are really good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a solid spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a lively rooftop vibe.

This place is fully decorated for Christmas by early December and it's a great festive vibe! They also have a specialty holiday menu with holiday cocktails. They have a great happy hour Wed-Fri 4-7, Sat 2-7, Sun 12-10, with $7 spirits, $8 nibbles, and $10 craft cocktails. I've been here a few times and the food, drinks, and service are always great.

Ask the Community - Rooftop @1WLO

What is that age range on a Saturday night and what type of music do they play?

Music is house music. And some Latin. Guess it friends on DJ that's on. Mixed crowd. But majority in mid 20's.

Is this a good place for a bachelorette dinner/ outing?

Yes. There were a few of those the night I went.

What type of music does the dj play?

They play a mix of everything that is trending.

    When is their Happy hour?

I don't think they have a Happy Hour.

Can you smoke a cigar on the rooftop?

    Yes

    Are well behaved dogs allowed?

    Don't think so

Does anyone know if they do brunch?

Yes they do but it's not a big variety of food

Do they have Happy hour every week day?

Wanted to celebrate a birthday there? Is this a good spot ? They take reservations

Hello. I rang in my birthday on Wednesday March 13th and it was great. Wednesday is movie night and ladies get free rose' and everyone gets free popcorn. It's a beautiful venue and yes you can make reservations. As far as food, they only have…

What's the best time to come here?

If you want to see all the pretty city lights, go at night for sure.

I suppose it get really full on saturday night right?

    Do people dance on Saturdays?

It's not really a big dancing scene. The space doesn't really lend itself to dance. There is some space in front of the the Dj, but more a place to lounge, drink and listen to music.

I'm thinking about trying your Sunday brunch but... What exactly is Prosecco Pong? Can I have just bottomless Prosecco without playing pong? HELP!?! :)

You do not have to play prosecco pong to have bottomless. If you have any other questions? send us an email at Reservations@1wlo.com

What type of music do they plan on Friday nights?

They play a mixture or today's urban and club music. You will not be disappointed.

Is there music during Sunday brunch? If so, what kind? Thanks :)

Of course an amazing DJ will be mixing up some good jams. As well as some champagne-pong.

Is there valet close by? How is it Wednesday's?

Hi Carolina- Thanks for asking. We have a valet next door at Township. Just pull in from SW 2nd Street. Wednesdays we are open from 4 pm to 2 am and you can enjoy Happy Hour early or come by for a great time later! Hope to see you at Rooftop…

Is the roof too nice on tuesday nights?

Thanks for asking Jermaine. Yes Tuesdays are a great night. We're open at 4 pm with a Happy Hour to start the night and the fun goes to 2 am. Here's a link to the Rooftop1@WLO website so you can see our hours and all the info about us:…

Is there a dress code? (Currently wearing button down and shorts)

At night you cannot go in shorts.

What is the best night to visit Rooftop? Is Sunday good? Or maybe a Thursday ? Want to go when there is a good vibe and music playing and all that !

I've not been at night, but Sunday afternoon is really a lot of fun. Not too crowded, good place to chill.

    Is it 18 and over?

Unfortunately no. However, it’s a nice place to go if you are.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
