I came here for brunch with a date and had a pretty good experience overall. When we arrived at the rooftop around 1:30 pm on a Sunday, it was surprisingly empty. The sun was intense, and even though there were some shaded areas with fans, it was still pretty hot and uncomfortable at times. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I remembered her name. She was a short Colombian woman who gave great recommendations and made the experience much better. We ordered the berry drinks, tacos, and tuna, and everything tasted great. The only downside for me was the music. It seemed like house music, which isn't really my style, so I didn't love that part of the atmosphere. Still, that's a minor issue. I'd definitely consider coming back when the weather is cooler, and hopefully with a different music vibe. Overall, I'd recommend checking this place out. read more

They have an amazing happy hour from 12pm-10pm on Sundays ! I tried multiple cocktails with my favorite being the classic mojito. All the drinks had great quality and yummy flavors My flatbread was basic but filling and the buffalo empanadas had the perfect spice level so that was my personal favorite dish. I did want to order the beef skewers but they didn't have any, which was disappointing considering the fact that it was pretty early. I sat at the bar and my bartender was very attentive, always made sure our area was clean and our waters were full. Located on the corner of Andrews and Las Olas, this rooftop bar has been serving Ft. Lauderdale for a while now. I have come at night time and early happy hour and both have had a different vibe. Both good just depending on what you are looking for. Night time is more party, dj playing, loud conversation, lot more people. Early happy hour is definitely quieter, chill, more able to have conversation but still happening. They have some creative cocktails as well as classics depending on your tastes. I've only tried the truffle fries for their food and they were standard/good. The views are nice of downtown but weather definitely has to be taken into account if you are going especially as we head into summer in SoFlo! read more

Strolling down Las Olas, I came across Roof Top@1WLO and decided to check it out. They have a security guard in the lobby who guided me to the elevator. Once at the Roof top, you can glance down and admire the panoramic view of the city. The roof top area was actually very elegant with modern decor, plenty of greenery, lounge seats and a large bar area. I sat at a small table by the main bar and ordered the beef tips skewers and parmesan truffle fries and a couple of cold beers. Pretty good all for $40 tip included. Waitress was friendly and fast. Views may not by the best compared to other rooftop bars and lounges as it's not as the location is not as high likely but it provides great relaxing ambiance. As you enter the private elevator, door open up to a refreshing rooftop with a live dj, plenty of seating and tables an comfortable cozy areas with a full bar. It's one of those venues you just have to explore, and get to know. If you are visiting, it is a staple that must be enjoyed, as every will definitely ask you at one point or another if you want there. The last group I went with was composed of residents and visitors. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and had a blast getting to visit our old stomping grounds. The service was friendly, and quick. The drinks were perfectly mixed. I didn't order food, but my friends did. I will definitely try it next time around. All in all, we had blast. I came here for a friend's birthday, and was super excited because I'd wanted to come here for a while. The view was definitely beautiful, and I would say that's the best part, but it was so crowded that I couldn't even get to the edge to see it. The place was so packed we could barely move, which is sort of expected but it felt a little excessive. We struggled to get up to the bar and waited a long time for our drinks. For the price and reputation as one of the nicer bars in downtown Fort Lauderdale, I expected the drink to be better. It wasn't very strong, and the taste was just okay. It's definitely overpriced and a little overhyped. I'd be willing to try it again, but I don't know if I want to spend the money for an okay drink. read more

The standout, though, was hands down the buffalo chicken empanadas, which were crispy on the outside with a creamy blue cheese filling, mirepoix, and just the right amount of heat. Absolutely worth ordering! We also enjoyed the salumi flatbread, topped with truffle salumi, prosciutto, cheddar, mozzarella, hot honey, and fresh basil, and overall a well-balanced mix of savory and sweet. AMAZING VIEW... A giant Bulgarian bearded door man opened the double glass doors and we entered through the lobby and up to the roof top bar slightly weary of what to expect next. As the elevator opened, we had an amazing view of the Las Olas sky line. We slowly walked through the dimly lit bar filled with inviting comfy sectional couches for that could be privately reserved at $35.00 an hour and the perfect spot for a small friendly gathering or party. We obtained rental information from one of the servers. The brightly lit bar on the far right side had thin leather bar stools with a conglomerate of tequila brands ready to quench a throat or two followed by a lime. Met some fun chatty people who worked in the area and were elated when the bar was constructed. This bar is definitely a top picturesque location. The bathroom doors were unique and comical with gender specific depictions of a cocktail glass (girls) or beer bottle (boys) for the proper sex to decide which door to open to ensure compatability. The view of the city is gorgeous. The space is nice. The service was good and staff super. I came on a cold day. They had fire pits and heaters on. It was comfy. The rooftop had music, a bar, and space to dance. It had areas you could reserve for special events. It is a good place to celebrate. I tried the happy hour pizza and it was good. A good size. The avocado hummus was good. I loved the vegetable chips. The lemon drop martini was yummy. I was happy with the food. There is a parking lot next to this place and a garage behind the building. Located in the One West Las Olas building on the 7th floor, the elevator takes you to Rooftop. Immediately, you see that the vibe is classy, trendy, and lively! You know that you are going to have a good time! There are 2 bars, one indoors and another outdoors. We chose to sit outdoors as it was a beautiful evening. The city view is spectacular over Las Olas Blvd! The rooftop has lots of foliage and comfortable seating. There is a small dance area and a DJ playing the latest trendy music. It was a mixed crowd with mainly the 21-40 crowd. We ordered a Margarita for me and a CasaAmigos with soda and lime for my daughter. They serve small plates from a limited menu but we weren't hungry. Our server was friendly and brought out our drinks in a timely manner. We had a good time and plan to come back in the near future. We Ubered there. There is some street parking. read more

We sat at the bar and were attended right away, the bartender was very nice and attentive. The music was not too loud and felt that we were able to talk and hear each other without issues. The place is large but many of the tables looked like they had reservations, so something to keep in mind if you wanted a table. I loved that it was on a rooftop and felt that it was well spaced out. Downtown Fort Lauderdale's first-ever rooftop bar, aptly named Rooftop @1WLO is a lounge-and-light-bites concept situated on the seventh floor of the One West Las Olas building. The 4,000-square-foot open-air patio transports patrons to a garden in the sky, elevated seven stories. Though open and spacious it can get crowded. There are great views to the East and the North, but to the South, you're just looking at the side of a taller building, and to the West, no view as the Rooftop Var faces East. I had a Dewar's Scotch and soda which was of an average measured pour, but decent enough. I also had a taste of their "Into the Sunset" signature cocktail comprised of El Tesoro Blanco Tequila, Cherry Heering, and Passion fruit, which was delicious and refreshing. For food, the Rooftop Bar only offers a limited number of small plate bites like flatbreads, beef skewers, empanadas, and tacos. Overall, Rooftop Bar is a fun place to visit, friendly and spotlessly clean. read more

I was in the area and we decided to give this place a try. The drinks are 10/10. We tried 4 different drinks (2 tequila, 1 gin, 1 rum) all were delicious!! It is worth it to go during happy hour so you can enjoy the drinks. If not, it can get a bit pricy! For food, we ordered the fries, buffalo empanadas, manchego croquettes, and the steak skewers. My favorite were the buffalo empanadas. They were basically made with like a wonton crust. I did enjoy that the blue cheese sauce that came with them was light and not overpowering. read more
