Went wedding band shopping today with my lady and after making a few stops at other shops we ended up at Jewelry Diamond Expo in Stoneridge mall. We were helped by a young man mamed Mohammed, very nice and knowledgeable salesman. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to upsell anything - he just answered our questions and found us (my lady) what we wanted. Our plan at the beggining of the day was to shop around for prices and quality, then go home snd sleep on it, BUT my man Mohammed offer us a good and fair price on rings that we liked. The rings were better quality (18K gold, 1 ct. VS) then the comparable rings we liked at Zales, Jared's, and some other place. AND at a better price. So, instead of going home to sleep on it, we made the purchase and more important I made my girl happy - she's worth so it's all G. My ring is 18K two tone gold (white/yellow) and her's is an 18k white gold - both rings 1ct in diamonds at VS1 quality. I've shopped around online where, if you are willing to recieve your valuable through the mail, you can find good and fair prices so when Mohammed quotedvus our price I knew it wasn't a rip off. It wasn't a steal of a price but it was a good and fair for the quality we got. Win win. I recommend for sure. Also I should add that warranty is Included in price- lifetime warranty includes free cleaning and will replace lost stones! Two of the other places we went to charged $180 for that same warranty, go figure. AND their jeweler was on site which meant that we had to wait an hour for my lady to get her ring sized up as opposed to two whole weeks from the other other places. I have meant to write this review since Christmas 2017, so here it is. My husband and I got married almost 4 years ago. I have always wanted a channel set diamond band for my engagement ring, but back then we couldn't afford it. I'm happy to say this past Christmas my husband surprised me with the diamond band I had always desired and it is BEAUTIFUL! I went with him to Jewelry Diamond Expo located in Stoneridge Mall. Firstly, the service was excellent and the staff was well educated on their products. Secondly, the price was very fair in comparison to some larger chain stores I had been to. I never wanted anything super fancy and couldn't see spending an arm and leg just to get a diamond band. The Jewelry Diamond Expo allowed me to get the ring I had always wanted within a price we could afford and seemed fair. I met the owner of the store, I can't recall her name at the moment, but she was amazing. She knows her jewelry and is has good customer service/communication skills. I inquired about purchasing the ring in princess cut diamonds to match my engagement ring, she was more than willing to make my ring with the diamonds I wanted and in my perfect ring size (which is quite tiny, size 4). When we went to pick up the ring, she conveyed to me she increased the diamond quality simply because she said they looked better than what I had originally chosen. What a true blessing and true jewelry expert. Woman to woman, I was so grateful that she appeared to want me to have the ring I always desired. I'm already thinking of some other items I would like and I plan on returning to this location for those purchases. I assumed when they resized it they would use the same as the ring but they used something cheap that now turns my finger green. Please see photo. Please stay away from this place at all costs. I had to come back twice to the oakridge location and twice to this Pleasanton. They are the rudest and do not know what they're doing. I purchased a wedding band which did not fit with my engagement ring and I went back multiple times after the jeweler "fixed" it and it never fit. Find out that that it would never have fit because of their Unknowledgeable staff didn't know that their band would have never fit with the design of my ring. They were quick to make a sale but have horrible service thereafter. I dropped off the ring to get it resized the second time and they said I could pick it up within three days. I called on the third day and they said no they never said that and that the jeweler was gone for a week. Had an appointment to get it fixed for the third time and Drove an hour and the lady (long brown hair with glasses) was extremely rude saying the jewelers machine broke and couldn't fix it. They didn't even have the decency to call me. Totally acted like she was in the right the whole time and talked over me AND gave me so much attitude that you would never expect from a sales person. When I came back when the machine was fixed, she totally ignored me and never said a word. Never apologized for the multiple visits I had to take. When I picked up the ring the very first time even though it was sized incorrectly, I asked if they can check the diamond authenticity and they said there was a certificate that proves it and said "don't worry we do good business. " - not without proof you don't. They are nice up until after the sell is made and do not want to work with you after the fact. I'm surprised they are still in business If you want to be scammed and treated like crap and need 4+ visits until your ring is correctly fitted, by all means come here. read more

This place is a bit on the unusual side. The prices are great, and I got my wedding band here, which looks amazing. However, it was a bit on the loose side and needed to be fitted. The man who made the sale asked me what size to fit it too as if I knew anything about this. I decided on a size and came back in an hour. Lo' and behold it was just as loose. Another lady there said it looked way too loose, and I asked if it could be fitted again, and the dude who made the sale said "You made your decision." What the? When we went to go pick it up we weren't happy as the ring wasn't even close to what we ordered, Mohammed said Fauzia can work with us to fix it and that she will give us a call, till this day Fauzia has not called us to fix the ring, it has been 5 months. I would give this place negative zero stars if I could. They scam and rip you off!! BEWARE! They sell you by saying "the owner has diamond mines so that is why our costs are cheaper" per Fauzia. We have talked to and have been to numerous jewelers that tell us we got ripped off for what he paid, we could have gotten a CLEARER and MUCH BETTER diamond for half the cost. The owner owns mines huh? BS! We decided to give this place another shot and upgrade the diamond before they go out of business, Fauzia told us okay, let me get the diamond you want and come back on Tuesday to look at it. I also needed to get my ring fixed because its been cracking because whatever they use with their 14K gold is total shit. We come back on Tuesday and guess what? Fauzia is not there, she only works weekends. What? Why would you have us come back to get my ring fixed and look at diamonds? She also said, oh it will only take 40 mins to fix the ring. She appeared to be clueless about the world diamond trade. My mom tends to purchase diamonds every time she visits Belgium, Amsterdam, UAE, Dubai or India. The variety of VVS1 and VVS2 diamonds in these countries is huge. These diamonds have "very very slight" inclusions. When we started asking the lady here if she had any VVS 1or 2 quality diamonds, instead of showing, she started asking us about our budget and affordability. I dropped in to see if this store took my jewelry credit card. They do. I was looking fashion ring and diamond earrings. I found a pair of 2ct diamond earrings G S1, a 1.5 ct fashion ring with baguettes and princess cut diamonds, G S1. All 14k white gold. The manager Fazia was lovely! My fiancee and I were under the impression that a ring resize was free for a lifetime upon purchase. I drove all rhe way from Sacramento to get my ring resized, since there were no other jewelry diamon exchanges in my area. When I showed up I was informed that only the initial resize was included. As you can imagine I was a little upset that the guy who I had spoke with originally told me it was included. This place is unprofessional and ridiculous. I tried to buy a diamond engagement ring from the manager, Fauzia Haq, on February 26th, 2017. I set up a line of credit to buy a ring with their in store credit. She showed us two diamonds, and would not let me touch or see the diamond with a loop or up close. We picked a diamond out, but she wouldn't allow me to see the specifications of the 1 carat diamond prior to purchase. And when My girlfriend would ask her questions about the diamond specifications, she acted like We did not need to know that information and would not show her the tag. She hid it with her hand. The diamond wasn't too yellow and looked okay from 2 feet away, from where I could see, so I did not say anything at that moment because I thought she should have been a reasonable and reputable jeweler and she kept saying it was certified. Once the transaction was finished, We had a horrible feeling that We should check out the specifications of the diamond with GIA website. We couldn't see the GIA number until the purchase had finished, which is completely unprofessional and not honest. I looked up the diamond and I found out that she charged double what Bluenile would have charged for the crap diamond that she sold us. We canceled the order and the charges on the two separate credit cards, but she continues to try to charge us for the charges even though we never picked up a ring. There's currently over 7K worth of charges that she is trying to collect from us and we didn't receive any goods or services for the charges. No creditor will enforce these charges in their right minds. She is just being ridiculous. My girlfriend went in to try to talk to resolve the issue and she became irate and threw her out of the store when She told her that We would have never spend that amount of money on such a low-quality diamond and She confronted her on not allowing us to see the specifications prior to purchase. Completely unprofessional and this was their manager, Fauzia Haq. Do not waste your time or money going to this fly by the seat of their pants place. They are not reputable. read more

I had my heart set on a rose gold and morganite ring which is not an easy thing to find. Walked in to look at diamond bands. The sales rep only greeted my husband. Literally said "hello sir" did not acknowledge my presence at all. When I asked about bands he told me they only have round diamonds which was clearly not true as I could see different cuts in the jewelry case. After we left my husband even commented on how weird it was that the guy only greeted him and was reluctant to speak to me. My mom and I were shopping in Stoneridge when she remembered, upon passing this place, that she needed to purchase a pair of earrings for her niece. As we walked in, the two employees working did not get up to greet us nor ask us if we needed help. We walked all the way across the store to talk to them only to have her walk us all the way back to show us what we wanted. The entire time my mom and the employee were having a conversation, she seemed very annoyed and in a rush to get rid of us. Upon inquiring about the price, my mom was a little shocked and casually mentioned to me that she thinks she can find cheaper earrings somewhere else. She was not speaking to the employee, yet the employee felt it necessary to respond with an extremely rude response by telling us that we should go there instead. My mom and I were literally shocked and walked out, laughing in disbelief. OMG this place is a joke. Sold me a diamond wedding ring that wasnt even a certified diamond and tried to say she thought I was going for a look because I was picky and the quality of the diamond was not important! Who wants a $5000 diamond wedding ring that is not egl certified? They will try to take advantage of a customer with little knowledge about diamonds! So after problems with that ring we got a different ring and I asked them for the certification document they said they would mail it to me which I thought was weird when they never did I went back to their stoneridge store and found out that it was not a certified diamond either! So I said I dont want it but since they would not refund my money I picked out a setting and a certified diamond and it was more money my fiance had to pay. But they gave me the certification paper with the ring like they should. They will take advantage of customers if they can. Then say they thought you wanted a crappy not egl certified diamond. Rediculous this is how a lot of jewelry stores take advantage of customers. Dont go here unless you know what to look for in a diamond. The three C's. read more

My husband has been treated wonderfully here as he picked a new setting. They resize for free and you can't tell where they resized, looks perfect. The diamonds in the cushion halo make my round solitaire look so nice, the whole ring sparkles and is beautiful. I decided I wanted to exchange the halo for personal reasons though, and my husband went back and picked out the most beautiful parade brand romantic vintage setting. It felt wonderful on, and had beautiful attention to detail, made to wear without ruining the set to last for the next 50 years. I loved it very much but I missed wearing the sparkly halo ring, so... they were able to find the original halo and reset it again beautifully. Worst experience I ever had buying a ring from there. Bought a pearl ring for my wife. Fouzia Haq, who is manager in Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton was extremely nice when sold the ring. However, in less than a month the pearl came off. When we went back and ask to return, Fouzia promised that she will fix it and there is no need to return. In case it happens again, she will not hesitate to return. I took her words. However, in couple of months, the pearl came off again. When we went back asking her to return the ring. She showed her real face.She was yelling, shouting and about to fight with us. I have recorded her small video. I wish yelp allows to upload that video and everyone see her real face. Terrible customer service! I came in today to see if they can fit a certain stone in a ring and the lady and man working here were not helpful at all. It was as if they had no interest in trying to help me select a ring and I had to continue to ask questions. The man, whose name was Raj I believe, after asking him politely if they sell a certain type of ring with stone he rudely replied No!
