Scotches that I know I've personally purchased in Scotland bc they don't sell them in retail here. Gins we've seen around the world, but actually not in this country. Same with tequilas and mezcals. An incredibly sophisticated prosecco and wine selection. I don't know who is doing their procuring but never let them go! Shopping there is literally like getting to go around the world collecting all the bottles you'd never find at your local liquor store. LOVE IT!! And yes, the food is pretty fantastic. We came before, during, and after COVID, and I have always been impressed. Even in the terrible COVID years of staff and food shortages, the bartenders and management worked their bottoms off to keep the place running smoothly and not disappoint their customers. The upper patio has great views, too. We'll be loyal forever.

Food, service, and overall feel, meh. Let's get into this. Clocked in at 1:00 pm. Clocked out at 2:15 pm. Frankly an hour for some Burgers and a sandwich is a bit extreme. Certainly we could have overlooked the service, but the food was just OK. But as far as the service, sure one server for the whole place, it's gonna be epic. NOT! I was also a little put off how limited the menu was. Then again, I'm pretty sure they want you in the tavern part, not the dining part. I had the special Avocado GoGo. It was bad bad. You can see from the pictures not much in the way of avocado. They should have called it an olive tampanade with a slice of cheese. Yeah one. At least the olives were good. My wife had the Mansion Burger. It was good. Very sloppy and who doesn't like a sloppy floppy burger. The fries came out cold, no biggie. When we mentioned it, they brought us two giant bowls full of fries. They were great. All in all meh. Now, if you drink, you want to visit their tavern. That looks so cool. Go there for that.

I would consider this an adult only hotel as there isn't anything for kids to do. No pool or recreational area so because I knew this prior, we made this a mommy and daddy only stay. Rooms were quaint and beautifully decorated and I loved that there was a foxtail coffee and nice seating area in the lobby. We of course dined at the restaurant for dinner and also enjoyed having casual drinks at the bar after a day at the beach. For visitors : there is valet parking available or self parking on the second level. Valet service is excellent! The beach is not walking distance as it's a cross the waterway but there are local shops and bars nearby that you can easily walk too from the hotel. As much as I want to give it 4-5 stars I cannot as there isn't much to do at this hotel and I'm a beach lover so I would prefer to stay on the beach. But I'm glad I was able to check it off my list. We will be back to dine at the rooftop restaurant as it is now one of our favorites !

With such a prime location right on the beach, it feels like it could be an incredible restaurant and a serious revenue generator, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like much has been invested into the property. I was surprised to hear that it supposedly has the same owners as Dijon's Restaurant up the street, which has a much more polished and upscale feel. The difference between the two is pretty dramatic. During our visit, a lot of the staff seemed to be standing around waiting for customers, and the whole place just felt like it was missing some energy. The outdoor dining area is dated and not particularly inviting. The windows and exterior show plenty of wear from the beach weather--which is understandable in this location--but the overall space still needs some attention. If you do eat here, I'd recommend staying downstairs. Upstairs had more of a pool hall/dude-hangout vibe and definitely wasn't where I'd choose for a romantic weekend dinner with my wife. This feels more like a beach-day, grab-some-grub kind of place that happens to occupy the building of a much larger restaurant. There's a ton of potential here, but right now, they're really missing the ball on what this location could be. Probably would not return unless the place gets a significant refresh.

Got to the restaurant and the elevator was not working so we had to sit downstairs where it is stuffier and less of a view. The menu for breakfast had changed and was meager!!! I had the avocado toast. Nothing special. My husband had the pancakes. They were fluffy. The server was gracious, the hostess could really careless as she continued to lean on the podium. Asked about the menu online and was told "yeah, it changed awhile a go, but the owners haven't updated the website." We will now be looking for a new family tradition.

As soon as you walk in, you'll notice the different pieces of art and statues throughout the property. You can tell a lot of artists have contributed to the look and feel of this hotel, and I really enjoyed walking around and checking everything out. They have two bars, one on the first floor and another one on the top floor. Just keep in mind that the rooftop bar doesn't open until around 3 PM o believe. The outdoor area is also really cool. There are different art pieces and murals representing various artists, so it's actually fun to walk around and take your time looking at everything. This hotel is often rented for weddings and order big events. This hotel is a great place for all type of events. During my last visit, the entire outdoor area was filled with different fitness and wellness activities. They had cold plunges, saunas, massages, fitness activities, and so much more. I think this would be a great place for a staycation, even if you live locally. And if you're visiting the Orlando area, Lake Nona has plenty of restaurants and activities nearby, so you can easily spend the day exploring the area. I would definitely come back and stay here again. It's a different experience from the typical Orlando hotel, especially if you enjoy art, wellness, and having things to do around you.
