They deleted my original comment underneath their reviews so I'm now posting here. Warning to people of color: I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. After leaving this bar, I was loudly called the N-word, and what was just as disturbing was that people heard it and chose to stay silent. Instead of attempting to de-escalate the situation, the staff argued and yelled at me rather than handling it professionally. From my experience, there was a noticeable difference in how they spoke to white patrons compared to how they treated me as a Black customer. I do want to thank the one white person who came over afterward to comfort me and remind me that not everyone is like that. Their kindness meant a lot, but it was overshadowed by an experience that left me feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. Racism should never be tolerated or met with silence. The N word should never be brought into an argument especially with individuals I was not even speaking to. I'm entirely disappointed but I should've known better that most individuals that hang around this area are racist. It's disgusting and if you delete my comment again , I will just continue to post. Since you're customers were very loud at calling me the N word , take accountability and leave my comment up to black people who would like to visit this bar to rethink twice where they spend their money. Rosie's Bottoms Up 8400 US Highway 1 Micco, FL 32976 4 Stars As a true bezonian, I always enter an establishment with high hopes. As I walked in, I immediately smelled that old building scent. I mean, this is a good way; it's comforting, like the smell of an old book. While I found the scent reassuring, I doubted the outcome with Rosie's. Rosie is no longer with us and her picture adorns the wall. Marlene, my server, has been here for 19 years, which I found shocking as she is happy, efficient, and works her tuchus off. This garnered Marlene a 62% tip. Well done, Marlene. Marlene has become an icon in these parts, you can even buy a t-shirt with her likeness while dining. I asked Marlene the Magnificent for one Micco Burger (medium rare) and 10 Garlic Parmesan wings. Digging the relaxing vibe of the old place (people were actually having fun in here), I eagerly awaited Marlene's return. It wasn't a long wait as she was soon sighted bringing my order out of the kitchen. Take a look at those pictures. That is a massive burger. The Micco Burger is made from 8 oz of ground beef, hand-formed, with melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. A half pound makes for one giant hamburger. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the cheese was melted all around and the bun was fresh and tasty. The side of pomme frites was likewise perfectly cooked and just as scrumptious. Moving on to the order of Garlic Parmesan wings. One bite in, I knew these were not the best wings I'd ever had, but they were pretty good. They were cooked correctly and abundantly seasoned. Are they going to win any awards? No. Are they trying to? Also, no. They are fine for what they are. The Big Boy says, "Great vibe, smells, and service. We had a great time! Excellent band and fun crowd. Loaded tater tots were marvelous.

Nice little local joint with great river views. Always seems busy, crowded. Coldest beer around, & still priced lower than most places. What food I've had was good, for frozen apps. Nacho platter is huge! Bands sound good there, because of acoustics I guess... not too loud. Staff is always friendly. Plenty of parking on side of building. Bike parking out front. Clean restroom. Place is a dive bar for sure, not really set up for concerts but they do bring in love entertainment. Food was never good it was bar food. Drinks were always made right tho and that's what matters the most. Place is always packed so be warned there. And last time I saw their bathrooms it reminded me of a horror movie. I'd avoid those. I'm a food snob. Did not expect the fresh, delicious food we got. We had a burger with swiss and mushrooms... excellent seasoning and char. 5 stars. We got parmesan garlic and honey BBQ wings ... they were AWESOME! Meaty, hot, and big! (Talking about the wings!) read more

When it comes to Dive bars -- Rosie's Bottoms Up has it all. The most interesting clientele, the best bartenders, cheap, strong drinks and great bar food. First, the clientele: It is as varied as they come. In the afternoons on weekends they have poker tournaments -- which draws plenty of bikers and LOTS of smoking. It the later evening it is an older crowd, lots of married couples and single people. Its a very friendly atmosphere. After midnight/one when all the other bars in Indian River County close Bottoms Up is filled with everyone 21-35 in the entire county it seems like sometimes. Then it becomes a little more like a nightlife scene. On to the awesome bartenders... Marlene happens to be my personal favorite, but they bring something to the table. Liberal with the alcohol and very friendly to boot once you get to talking to one of them you know you want to come back. The drinks are also dirt cheap -- $5 for a mixed well drink and $3 for a beer. The bar food is fresh and really yummy. They make an amazing grilled cheese and the chips with salsa are to die for. read more

A great old-Florida style bar. Cheap drinks and a great view of the river. They have an incredible thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinner. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

The Best bartenders (Especially Cosmo the Super Bartender). Great food, Rosie the owner makes sure every item on the menu is too her high standards. The only downside might be the clientele that arrives after 1:00 AM when the bars in Indian River Close. Rosie's Bottom's Up has to be one of the best Dive Bars in Florida, try it I think your like it. read more

Sorry about your bad time at Bottoms Up you are of course right, I mean who would ever had expected to go into a BAR (a BAR cause I think this bares repeating) and see cigarette smoke? I have an idea how about they set up some kind of smoking rotation? You know only five people can smoke at a time? Maybe they can start at the north end of the building and work clockwise? I am sure there has to be a business model someplace that suggests regulating the habits of the majority of the clientele for the minority. No really there has to be one right? Oh the humanity! Not to mention the audacity of the locals talking to...wait for it...other locals, I mean your right everyone should end their conversation with people they have known for years as soon as some random schmo they have never seen before walks in the door and what?...Give them cake? Eh its just as well I suppose that you didn't like it last I checked you don't feed the mogwai's after midnight anyway. Gays and Gals...really the place is pretty good, the locals are friendly once they see that you might be in there more than once. You know kinda like everywhere else people have to be given a chance to get to know you. before they invite you to their BBQ's and Baby Showers. Bottoms up is not a Church... its a Bar no one will love you just for being there, but if you hang around long enough the Smoke will turn into Clouds and you might think you have gone to heaven. read more
