I have been a regular customer at Kasi Wax for over a year and cannot be more pleased with the waxers here! My regular waxer is Indira - she always does an excellent and thorough job and provides advice on how to care for the skin afterwards, how to avoid ingrown hairs, etc. I have also been waxed by Sammy and Pooja, and all of them show the same attention to detail and thoroughness in their work. This will continue to be my go-to place for waxing! The location is also quite convenient inside Tysons Corner Center. The shop recently moved to its own storefront and is beautiful, bright, and modern. Everything is also always kept clean and neat. Definitely recommend Kasi Wax! read more

I received the combo bikini/Brazilian and eyebrow waxing, and they were by far the most painless, efficient, hygienic and relaxed waxes I've had in my life. I made a same day appointment for brow threading and tinting. While the studio is clean and simple, Puja did the most amazing job. I can say my brows have never looked better. She took her time with threading, shaping and trimming my brows and took extra care to only apply the tint only on my brows, avoiding coloring the surrounding skin. I have been using Kasi Wax!for over a year now. I've been mainly at the Tysons location and briefly the Montgomery Mall location as well (now closed). The detail that is provided by the staff is appreciated. When checking in always greeted and ready when I arrive. I was a first time wax and the fact that time was taken to explain the process and expectations afterwards great! Pricing is average with other places. However it is the detail given during the process and is the reason I continue to return it's done right each time 2 years and going!!! The staff is trained very well and it shows. So I have no "go to" person or fave they all do a superb and are wonderful at their jobs. There are no complaints from me! I did get my eyebrows done on my recent visit (4/28/18). Needed wax and threading, that was a treat to be completely done up right! Again Sami who I had for all the services paid attention to detail as my brows are terrible!!Can we say old man frowning caterpillar brows! I live in DC and come here only for Indira! She is absolutely amazing!I have very difficult eyebrows because they grow down and so they also need to be cut. I am extremely hesitant about trying new eyebrow places but I moved from Miami and couldn't wait anymore. Indira is so amazing that I have chosen to follow her from her previous studio to Kasi wax even though it is far away from me. She also has some of the best hands for threading I've had--you can barely feel pain with her which is always a plus. Indira is also a fantastic waxer--I basically do everything with her because I don't feel pain and it's over as soon as it started. Will continue to go with only Indira-she is very patient and takes her time with everyone to ensure a perfect finish. In addition, she is the sweetest person you will ever meet and is very accommodating--she knows I am a medical student and always fits me in somehow. Lastly, the location is very nice in general. Lauren and Rhonda are awesome!! Lauren is a rockstar at brazilian waxes and very meticulous. Rhonda is equally talented, but I think edges the competition on eyebrow shaping. Lauren is so sweet though. She understood my woes about my eyebrows and introduced me to Ashwa for threading "repair". My next appointments will be with her for threading. Definitely recommend Kasiwax for the expertise, comfort and care. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is due to a lack of professionalism on Kasi's part. I'm a former spa manager and an absolute no-no in the biz is to switch client requests without first ensuring the client is comfortable. This is the second time I've requested Kasi and she has switched me to other people without notifying me first. Thankfully she has a very talented staff and I'm very flexible. However, that doesn't negate the fact that it is extremely unprofessional. If you're no longer accepting new clients...say that! We're all adults and Kasiwax is full of talented esteticians. Let me start off by saying all 5 stars are for Lauren and Lauren only. I started off being a very loyal customer of Sugar Baby wax in Georgetown. After moving this location became closer. Confused? Yea me too apparently they company is no longer SugarBaby wax and is now Kasi wax. Didn't even give customers a choice of loyalty to SugarBaby.. no email, no notifications no options. I booked my appt and upon arrival POOF a company change. Rude. But thank goodness Lauren was still there or else I would've found a new place. Honestly, all the staff are absolutely amazing from my waxer down to the front desk. My waxer Indira is phenomenal and thorough(no hair left behind). I have went to her numerous times & each time is amazing. She keeps me laughing through the process and makes it a more calming experience. My skin never has any adverse reactions and I never leave feeling sore or any of those things. Sometimes I still feel a bit nervous before my wax because I'm dramatic but Indira is very patient and calming, I highly recommend her. I've been going to Sammy in the Tysons location for my eyebrows only twice now, and both times I came in earlier than scheduled (this last time by like 15 minutes and the first time by a LOT like an hour and a half). Both times she was SO accommodating to my schedule and saw me pretty much right away. This woman is amazing I wish I could give her and the facility 10 stars. The people at the front desk are kind of hit or miss, but the facility itself is so clean and professional. Sammy is great--she's kind, attentive, and she does exactly what you ask for in virtually no time at all. It's the fastest, most painless experience I've ever had. Review: Meh. After reading Yelp reviews I gave it a try. Conveniently located in Tyson's corner mall behind Old Navy. It was $15 for quick 5 minute eyebrow wax, which I think is kind of expensive. They do accept walk-ins. The lady that did the wax was really nice and very social. The room for waxing was nice and private away from the main salon. I felt like my eyebrows were kind of uneven and I had to go home and repluck them. See picture. After paying $15, that's disappointing. So 3 stars for friendly staff and convenience but -2 for overall wax. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

But I arrived at 11:45 and she was leaving the store to go run errands and she insisted that I let Stephaine wax me. For the inconsistency they took $5 off. I don't think my experience with Stephanie at Sugar Baby wax could have been more perfect. My first time I tried to get a Sugar Baby service, a woman from the salon they rent space from took over, and I nearly paid $20 for a lip wax that was hardly satisfactory. First of all, I have never spent more than $10 for a lip wax so I was a tad upset. I quickly realized this was not the wonderful Sugar Baby I read rave reviews about on Yelp and demanded a discount. She clearly did not know what she was doing. ANYWAY a couple weeks later I went back and specifically asked for an appointment with someone from SBW. The next day I got a bikini wax with Stephanie and it was the fastest and least painful wax I have ever had. I am very particular about where I get waxed and SBW has quickly replaced the salon I have been frequenting for years. The price is reasonable, the staff is experienced and friendly, and best of all it doesn't hurt! Magic. TL;DR Make sure you specify you want an appointment with sugar baby wax and not the salon they rent space from. You will not be disappointed. read more

Waxing is never pain free but the experience here is less painful than elsewhere. The waxers are detail oriented and don't double dip. I started coming here because it was close to my work and they could fit me in for a quick brow wax during my lunch - Rhonda didn't just wax my brows and get me out of there, she took the time to even them out (they have different arches) and get to know my daily routine for my brows. I walked out of there and received so many compliments on my brows that I knew I'd found a great salon and a wonderful waxer. I've been back a number of times for bikini and brazilian waxes as well and she is perfection! One thing I adore is that Rhonda makes it a point to get to know her clients - I'm always greeted with a huge hug and we catch up while I'm getting my services.
