The store is extremely dated and rundown and is badly in need of renovations and upgrades. It wasn't necessarily dirty--you can tell they make an effort to keep it clean--but the building and interior are so old that it still feels grungy and worn. It was fairly busy, and the selection was decent with most of the shelves reasonably well stocked. The bigger issue for me was the overall operation and level of service. Compared with other Kroger locations I've visited, the employees here seemed undertrained and disengaged. My cashier was slow and not particularly friendly, and my groceries were bagged very poorly. The frustrating thing is that this location has a lot of potential. It clearly gets plenty of customers and has a decent product selection, but the entire operation feels like it has been on autopilot for years. A strong operator who focused on hiring, training, customer service, cleanliness standards and modernization could make a massive difference here. With some investment and better leadership, this could be a much better Kroger.

You can buy a pound for around $6-7. It is super fresh too. We actually got chicken breast a few times. We want to try their ribs as well. They also sell milk, eggs, cheese, and more. They also allow you to call ahead for big orders. If you own a freezer chest I highly suggest buying $50 worth of food because they have a $5 off $50 coupon on the website. We buy the beef and then freeze it and it lasts 6-7 weeks. It's basically an amazing way to get a package for free. The customer service is amazing. The parking gets full fast, but a lot of people walk in quickly and leave pretty fast. We have never had any issues with quality or taste. We can taste the difference in the beef. I did ask the associate though before leaving the department to double check the stock for me but she said even if there was more stock, she wouldn't be able to go in back and get it for me because the person in charge of that department was off work that day. I found it strange but I don't know how their stock system works so I said okay thank you and left disappointed. I also needed a couple of plastic storage bins. The bins and matching lids weren't real organized but I managed to still find what I needed through some jumbled trial and error. The self checkout associate wasn't real friendly. All in all this store put a damper on the day with multiple disappointments. The Hall Rd. store is so much better overall in my personal opinion.
