I came here for brunch on a Saturday. Parking in the area is rough. Only street parking is available and we had to drive around for about 10 minutes before finding a space. The restaurant has a typical sports bar vibe, with TVs and sports memorabilia on the walls. It was quite loud. The host was kind enough to sit us in a corner so we had room for the stroller we had with us. They have an awesome brunch menu! They also have a full cocktail menu (with very pretty images), but we did not partake this time around. The avocado toast was just okay. I was excited because they seemed to have a unique preparation with dukka and chimichurri. The chimichurri was quite tasty. The bread was nice and hearty and the dressing on the side salad was pleasantly tangy. However, the avocado was not at all fresh. It was slightly brown and tasted like guacamole left in the fridge for a day or two. My husband got the chicken sandwich and was pleased with the taste, portion size, and accompanying fries. My lemonade was on the sweet side. I prefer a bit more of a fresh citrus taste so I asked for some lemon wedges and that helped. Our waiter was friendly. read more

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because in all fairness there was a Knick's game on and the place was packed. We ordered online and the service was fantastic especially given how packed and busy it was. This seemed like a great bar to enjoy a game in. The food was so disappointing though. We got chicken strips and fries. The fries were soggy, but chicken strips were fine. The mac n cheese didn't have much cheese flavor and reminded us more of buttered noodles. I got a steak and I wasn't really sure what kind of meat it was, the texture was very strange and unseasoned. We really like Jack's. This is a good Irish pub/bar and they do a nice brunch. We have gone a number of times and it is also family friendly (for brunch/lunch we've brought the kids). The staff is friendly and nice, if not necessarily the most attentive (lots of tables and not too many servers, which makes sense given the set up). The food is solid. Filling and homey. The portions are good sizes too and you will definitely leave feeling satisfied and happy. Last time we went, we had the full Irish breakfast, the breakfast nachos (to share), the chicken and biscuits, and the Mexican veggie hash, and scrambled eggs with a side of bacon. The food was good. The nachos were crispy, although the cheese sauce wasn't very cheesy. The full Irish never disappoints. The hash was good, although the slaw on it was kind of discordant with the rest of the flavors. Local bar with a pretty decent food menu. A lot of people come here to watch sports, plenty of TVs spread through the space. Went with a group of friends on a Monday night and there were quite a few ppl there. Service was friendly and came to check on us a few times. They have a typical bar menu, but then also throw in salads, sandwiches, pizzas and even some heavy dishes (half chicken, salmon) that you would expect at a full sit down restaurant. Food prices are on the high end ($17 for wings) Overall was pleasantly surprised and its nice to have an option with a kitchen thats open late on weekdays. read more

Went here saturday for knicks game 3 . It was my 4th time here . As an older retired, married man we go out quite a bit. This place just gets it. The owners of this place and their amazing staff should be teaching at a university on how to successfully run a bar . I don't think the average person understands just how difficult it is to run a place like this and do it well . The food is consistently delicious. The drinks are consistently well balanced and no shortcuts on the liquor . If you know, then you just know . Great ambience , everyone is very respectful of their fellow man which is no easy task and a bar. I know I'm gonna regret writing this review when I go there when I have to stand in line to get in, lol nonetheless when one of the owners is not beyond busing tables and the other ones in the kitchen just putting his pride and his heart on every dish he sends out how could you not wish this establishment all the success in the world . My husband, son and I went to this restaurant on. Wednesday and enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. My husband ordered short ribs of beef and they were so tender and delish. My son and I both ordered pizzas. We also ordered two appetizers: beef empanadas and smoked buffalo wings. Both were delicious. The next day we ordered buffalo/bbq smoked wings with a bacon cheeseburger. So, so good. We will definitely keep this place as our go to for dinner and down time. read more

Ordered take out. The fried chicken sandwhich with bacon and mayonnaise was very tasty and abundant. There were a ton of French fries that looked a little dark. Yes they were burnt. They were so crunchy they broke up as they were being chewed. I was never this disappointed eating fries. Adding salt did nothing to improve the flavor. When an eatery knowingly sends food out that they know should not be served, should influence a decision to return or NOT to an establishment. Thanks for making my mind up Jack's. Sal E New Rochelle. I want to say what a great little find but it's not so little. A nice sized restaurant with many high top tables and some booths. There is a large bar along with a second dining area after the bar. We decided to celebrate St Patrick's day a day early as my "momma didn't raise no fool." No way am I out and about on St Patrick's day. The hostess led us to a high top table in the bar area. Happy Hour is offered Monday - Friday 3 - 6 pm. The smoked wings were juicy, big and nicely smoked. Six wings for $7 on Happy Hour menu. Jack's has a wood fire oven behind the bar where you can watch them prepare the pizza and put in oven. They also smoke the wings in the same oven. There is a short bar with 4 seats in front of the pizza preparation area and oven where you get a front row view. The pizza's coming out of the oven looked exceptionally appetizing. Both my cousin and my husband's cousin have eaten here before so we ordered what they had recommended. The Reuben panini was delicious and huge, cut in three big sections served with well-seasoned French fries. My 8 oz. burger was perfectly cooked per my request, medium. Served on a fluffy brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onions, bacon and Jack's sauce. Also came with Fries. Our cousins were spot on with their food recommendations. Today was our waiter Ian's first day at the restaurant. He was friendly and at ease taking our order. Ian returned throughout our dinner to check in on us. He brought us napkins without asking and was there right when we finished to see if we needed anything else. You would never have known it was his first day. The restaurant was packed by the time we left, every table and seat taken. So good to see a local restaurant doing well. Jacks is a really nice bar, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was inside after visiting on a busy Sunday. They have plenty of TVs and the Knicks game was on so it was a great place to watch the games. Visited with my sister on a quiet Thursday before Christmas weekend and found the atmosphere really welcoming. I loved the pub vibes and was greeted by a friendly waiter who sat us. (My sister also raves about this place so I was excited to try) We had some holiday cocktails snd ordered a fun few things on the menu to try. We were for a casual place to meet up with friends for drinks and decided to try Jack's. The food was nothing special. We had burgers, the short rib and lobster Mac and cheese. The short ribs were nicely flavored and delicious, the burgers were ok, nothing amazing but it was fine. I didn't like the lobster Mac and cheese though. I found it to be bland and the lobster tasted frozen. As for the atmosphere, it was loud. A sports bar type of vibe. Lots of tvs and fans were cheering for their team. Parking wasn't great either. My cousin recently celebrated a milestone birthday and decided to hold a birthday brunch with family here at Jack's. I didn't know anything about this place before arriving, except that it was a relatively new business and their brunch selection looked great. I'm always looking for new spots in Westchester, so I was excited to check this place out. Jack's is located in one of the main commercial areas of Eastchester, off of the main Route 22 strip. Walking in, Jack's was giving me sports bar vibes - a large bar sits to the right with large screens displaying sports on them. The main room is large with mostly booths, and we were seated in the back area which houses mainly tables. The entire space has a clean, bright look to it - I infer that has to do with the large windows throughout the space and the fact that they only opened a little over 2 years ago (and of course the staff who keeps this place looking great). We started with drinks and with family style apps: bruschetta, sliders, fried calamari, and chicken wings. The apps were good, my favorite being the wings - they were well fried and served with tasty sauces. The fried calamari had a good spread of both rings and legs, but was too salty. Their Bloody Mary had a real kick to it, and their mimosa was refreshing and smooth. We were given an abbreviated version of their brunch menu to choose our mains from - I was feeling breakfast so I went with the French toast. It was pretty good - the toast was solid, and served with mascarpone and fresh berries which were a welcome reprieve from the rich carbs. I also appreciated that they didn't drown the toast in syrup, which usually pushes French toast over the edge for me. Service was great, everyone was really friendly and on top of it. We were a large party, probably 35 or so people, and I never felt forgotten - they were consistently making rounds to make sure we were taken care of and everything arrived at a good pace. Overall, I was impressed with Jack's - I'm always looking for new brunch spots in Westchester, and I would return here if given the opportunity. read more

Ate dinner in Jacks this evening and it was a truly disappointing experience our server was polite but he didn't seem to understand the concept of timely service. But things got worse. After finishing dinner we ordered Irish Coffee's that were served without alcohol, we brought this oversight to the attention of the server. He replaced the drinks with Irish Coffee's that were made with spoiled milk. We brought the matter to the attention of the owner. He showed us the container that he said was used. Which didn't change the fact that the milk was spoiled and the drinks were undrinkable. He made no effort to make things right. read more

Been coming here for the last couple of years. Wood fired freshly made pizza is always excellent and I first came here in the pandemic because they were one of the only places to have sticky toffee pudding. Everything and I mean everything on the menu is so good from wings to soup and I'm not a soup person. The servers are always attentive and I like that this place can be a sports bar or double as a first day cozy place just depending when you go. Passing through Eastchester, I visited Jack's on the recommendation of a friend. It was noon-time and not crowded (I heard it's packed and very loud at night). I ordered the Short Ribs-Mac&Cheese. It was absolutely delicious! Well seasoned, not too salty and piping hot. Our waitress was a delightful Irish lady who provided excellent service. My friend enjoyed her Spicy Beef Empanadas.
