I had such a positive experience at Katy Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Berry and vet- tech Devany were so patient with all my questions and so kind in their treatment and care of my best friend. Our visit was of an emergent nature. I called Katy Veterinary Clinic today at 7:00 am and they were kind enough to squeeze her in this morning. We went to the clinic with a lot of anxiety but Dr. Berry was so calm and explained everything prior to any tests or procedures, gave me options in which to choose, and explained treatment plans available in any given outcome; all of which helped me feel more in control. She also sent me a report with everything we discussed so I had a written plan with all the recommendations to follow. I felt very comfortable at this clinic. Everyone was pleasant and even their customers were friendly and nice! I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants and expects great care for their pets. read more

Had a terrific experience. All staff involved listened to my cat's history, looked at his symptoms, and then gave me options for the best care given that information. I was not offered unnecessary services, and prices seemed very reasonable. The staff seemed knowledgeable and were comfortable handling my cat. Awesome care for well puppy and sick elder dog. Kindness and compassion. My daughter was admitted to the hospital for a week on an emergency. My husband was out of town and Katy Vet took my puppy immediately (he is a patient and up to date on his shots). I ran home, picked him up and dropped him off. What a total relief to know he was being cared for and not spending his days and nights in his crate between my runs home from the hospital. Katy Vet is small town at it's best. read more

Superb first visit to get my beagle sorted for life in Texas. Helpful, friendly staff who have given her the immunizations she needs and advice I required. (And were very transparent about all costs) Nothing seemed to be too much for them, my dog was spoiled the whole time she was there. Great staff all around! I'm new to Texas and needed to get my 2 kitties in with a reliable vet for their annual check-ups. The doctor was very thorough, and she made recommendations based upon the ages of my pets, their current health, and lifestyles. She wasn't trying to up-sell me at all, yet wasn't cheating them out of quality care. I'm a fan! Oh, I also received a sweet card and follow-up call shortly after my visit; nice touch!! read more

Our lab had to get stitches while we were on a trip to Florida. When we got back to Katy, we called our regular vet's office (Kingsland Animal Clinic), who wanted to charge $54 for a checkup to make sure he was ok to have the stitches taken out. I called Katy Vet Clinic, and they said they would be happy to take them out at no cost. We really appreciated the fast, friendly service and the kindness of the staff we encountered during our trip! We searched a long time for a caring and compassionate vet service for our 2 cats and 1 dog. We were not pleased until we found Katy veterinarian. From the time we scheduled our first appointment we were treated like family. Our animals love being there even on shot days. My puppy gives everyone kisses from the front office staff to the techs and our favorite vet Kari. They truly love their jobs and all of the animals. Highly recommended to anybody with pets they love. read more

I had to put my precious 11 year old dog to sleep last week when he had lost his battle with diabetes. I had never been through that before and had no idea what to expect. The staff was incredible...so compassionate, patient and genuine. If they had not treated us the way they did, my memory of that day would have been much more traumatic. Thank you to the doctor and the tech as well as the desk staff for everything from a same day appointment to explaining everything to giving us all the time we needed with our boy to paying in the room then sneaking out the back door. Dr. Cleavinger, Ann, Paula Kaye, Edna and all the other great doctors and staff at Katy Veterinary Clinic gave my "Buddy" the best care for the past 13 years! Buddy recently passed away from cancer and the knowledge, love and support Buddy and my family received and has always received will never be forgotten. A few years ago we moved to Katy with a 10 year old English bulldog that needed a Vet's care on at least a monthly basis. I tried a few other local vets but none of them felt right. I was thrilled when I walked into Katy Vet Clinic. The staff was very welcoming and wanting to help. I knew in the first few minutes we had the right place. As my bulldog progressively got worse we met Dr Estrade and she was perfect for us. I now have a rescue dog that came with a few issues and have to say that Dr Estrade has impressed me again. She has a great mix of clinical knowledge and compassion for my dog. She has gone above and beyond what a typical vet might do and has earned my loyalty and respect. I would highly recommend her and the very caring staff at this office. They love animals and it shows! read more

Katy Veterinary Clinic is by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to. It was such a great and comforting experience from start to finish. The front office staff were so kind and sweet. Dr.Barra and Andrea were SUPER helpful and very knowledgeable. This is our first time having a puppy as young as 5 weeks and they did a fantastic job on informing me on everything I need to know. My mini schnauzer Maggie is my baby and they treat her like their baby too! I would trust them with any pet I own. Hands down the best in Katy. read more

The Katy Veterinary Clinic is the best clinic in the Katy area in which we have used for over 16 years. The staff is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We recently lost our 16 year Pomeranian, and we cannot say enough kind words about how professional and compassionate Dr. Cleavinger and staff were to our dog and us during this difficult time. Katy Vet Clinic is fabulous. I have a lot of dogs and several cats so I have had occasion to go there quite a bit and have had the pleasure of interacting with all the vets at different times and they are all great. My little Shih tzu suffered a head trauma and we made many trips to see the doctors. In the end we had to let Beatle go, but I have no doubt in my mind that the choices that were made and the treatments given were as good as anything we could have had at Gulf Coast. The empathy and respect they exhibited when I decided to let Beatle go, was amazing. They made a really tough situation a little easier. Thanks Dr. Barra and Dr. Cleavenger. read more

We had an emergency visit to Katy Veterinary Clinic today which resulted in our decision to euthanize our terminally ill cat. Dr. Kari Cleavinger handled our visit with compassion, professionalism, thorough explanations of her observations and clear options. Her warmth and comfort to our feline family member and to us helped tremendously during this difficult time. We moved here from another state and we needed to take our Golden Retriever for a checkup because he wasn't feeling or acting well. They got us in right away and were so helpful and caring with our dog. Everyone, from the receptionists, nurse, and Dr. Smith were so sweet and informative! Dr. Smith went over all the information I gave her and gave me her medical opinion and personal opinion on how we should go about treating my baby. I decided to get some x-rays and blood work done and I feel I payed a fair price. Dr. Smith called me when the test results came back and explained everything to me. She wrote a prescription for our Golden that would help him get better. The office even called the next day to check on how we were doing and to make sure I didn't have any questions. This place is AWESOME! They take the time to listen and followup and I feel this is priceless when it comes to our pets! read more
