This a really good bakery. The mousse desserts have a curd or jam filling. The cabbage rolls are flavorful and great with sour cream. They are very friendly and serve so many desserts at a decent price. It gets busy but they deserve it!

Family-owned bakery with cozy ambiance! We had the savory crepe (spinach, egg, feta), a potato and mushroom pirozhki, the honey cake, and a cappuccino. The Savory crepe was exceptionally good and unique with its crispy texture. The honey cake also definitely lived up to the hype. I give the cappuccino a 5/10 as it felt watery and was overall disappointing. The staff was efficient and friendly, but I noticed our server put down our plates onto the table rather aggressively, but I think it was unintentional. Overall would recommend as a decent bakery in the area!

This bakery is a little bit hidden, but what great find. Super friendly employees, great variety of food and pastries, plenty of space to seat, very clean and nice soft music. Recommend!

So cute and delicious! Dessert and coffee (September 2021)

I LOVE Katya's! I first stumbled across this with my mom in 2021. We loved their desserts! I adore their Honey Cake! I also tried their Borscht soup which was delicious! Fast forward -- my cousins, bf and I came by this week and while we couldn't check out the bakery since they were already closed, we saw that the new addition of the European Market was opened! We saw a lot of European chocolates, chocolate liqueur, produce, bread, cookies etc and desserts! We wanted dessert and saw they have a few items! We got the date mini croissant pastries (literally finger food size!) and the dessert that looks like a cannoli but tastes like a cream puff....only BETTER! They were labeled specifically but they tasted so well with our tea at home! We loved these treats bc they were not too sweet at all! I didn't get a picture of these cute pastries but their cakes and desserts I pictured below are so cute and delicate! Definitely coming back! It's such a great addition here up north :)

A nice quiet place to have a quick bite to eat with a variety of pastries to pick from. They also have some warm dishes on their menu. We normally visit just to take out some pastries. Our favorite is the honey cake when it's freshly made. Friendly service as well.

Why to a bakery and then you have to have lunch there I mean, I have family from Ukraine and boy boy some good stuff delicious. And I went over to the market. I think have snacks for days. Thank you to the refugees and immigrants to make this countries affordable. I cannot wait to go home and try; you can check out my full review on TikTok. Meetinseattle. Omg these amazing bakers can throw down! If you are in the north end check them out. The smoke salmon is next! Under $10 lunch

Dubai cup. It's to-die-for kind of good! Great flavor and crunch!

It was my first time here. Friendly, helpful service. What I ate was so delicious, I can't wait to try everything!

    Cabbage Rolls

Still wonderful. On our recent visit, we tried the cabbage rolls and savory crepe. First, a disclaimer - we are not very familiar with Russian food and therefore any comments may lack that context/background. The cabbage rolls were good. We've had these elsewhere and they were made with ground beef. Here they were made with corned beef, which fortunately we like. They were pretty good. The savory crepe was interesting. The crepe itself was very light, but fried with a breading which created a nice contrast of crunch and soft. Overall, I would say it was pretty good. I'm not certain I would order it again, but I would not try to sway someone else from trying it. It is well made. The sweets were wonderful, as always! And still well priced (good value). Service was good and they added some flower planters and tables outside, which is a nice touch. Also - it looks like they are opening a European Market right next door!

    Food example

Besides of the caffe, this place extended own area into a store Katyas European market . There is some food on a sale , but be careful, some food is expired . My family had an experience to be very sick of those spoiled food. In addition, there is very poor customer service and rude communication. They offended my family by swearing and yelling, and pushing away with the threatening, when there were suggestions on the products source. This became a dangerous place, with the race discrimination of the customers.

Absolutely one of the best cake places I've ever gotten. I am such a big fan of fan of European cakes and this was one of my favorite bakeries that did outstanding work. The flavor, the details, and the taste were just overall so good! The service itself was so easy, we just called and told them what we wanted which was the layered chocolate cake that said Happy Birthday and they were done within two days! Parking was easy and free in front of the place, the environment looks like any other normal bakery, it's quite small in here but more cozy. The price is unbeatable at about $40 and this is one of the best qualities i've had!

    Sweet stuff
    Tu-Ha N.

Let's start with: The people who work there are efficient, courteous-- they know their products ... everyone I asked a question of was able to answer about this pastry, that cake, whatever. Second, you can tell how and why their people are so excellent. I met the boss aka Katya. She is kind, generous, thoughtful, professional and so very talented with all foods and drinks sold there. Third because we always save the very best for the last paragraph. The food is beyond fantastic! Doesn't matter if you order sweet or savory. If you DILL in the salty items-- you will be happy to simply inhale. No need to chew! (Lol) Folks, all kidding aside. This place is totally worth your time! The Ukraine owner and her people are a cut above the average. I bought everything my husband and I could possibly eat. We couldn't stretch it over 2 days. Everything was done in a few hours. Thank you Katya and staff. You give me hope for food choices in Everett!!

The reason for the 1 star is these were not cheap cakes (which we expected for custom cakes) my daughter's cake was disgusting none of the kids wanted to eat it. The cake was vanilla cake with cherry filling and then the purple buttercream/cream cheese (cant remember which) fondant (icing). The actual cake part was hard and dry like it had been sitting out since it had been made and the fondant tasted like it had gone bad. Even with what happened with the 1st one my fiance wanted to try it again and thought that it was just the way we had ordered the 1st one (last minute throwing ideas together), so we order his son's cake. Originally for the 2nd cake my stepson wanted a chocolate cheesecake for his birthday and we were told in store that they could do it but we needed to email the owner, so i did. The owner said that wasnt something they could do and sent me a list of cake flavors, fillings and icing to pick from. So we chose funfetti cake, fudge filling and buttercreme (frosting) in the design of a race car track. As pictured, when we recieved the cake the fondant was pulling apart (which we didnt notice till after we had gotten it home) no big deal right, the fudge filling tasted off, this time the cake was moist however didnt taste like funfetti cake, to where the only thing the kids ate on that one was the fondant. I'm deeply upset at the amount of money we spent on cakes that we ended up just wasting because no one would eat them. I appreciate them taking the time to make these cakes however we will not be coming back.

The pitas were solid, I would recommend the wheat one since it tasted just as good so might as well get that extra fiber! Nice chew to them and neutral flavor to pair well with your dip/filling of choice. Croissants were super flaky and buttery. I wasn't paying attention and expected the chocolate to be more like your standard pain Au chocolate with the dark chocolate but the one I chose was actually truly a chocolate cream filling (very full!) more like the cake frosting in fancy cakes. All quite messy, happy I chose to eat out of my trunk in the parking lot not inside the car. There's only a bench for seating in the bakery itself. The knafeh I baked at home in the air fryer (fit just perfectly) and this was my favorite part which I think I would most come back here for. We had this a couple of times in Istanbul earlier this year and at the time I thought, "Americans would LOVE this, cheesy, crunchy, some salty, and sweet a how is this not more readily available?" Now I know where to go! Ran into the owner and he was super sweet and appreciative of us for stopping - he's taking his celebrity very well! Pro tip if you're into pop culture things, Everett is also the home of Funko Pop HQ and they have a really quirky store to visit on the ground level that's only like 12 min away if you're looking for more things to do if you've come from somewhat far and don't want to immediately turn around and head home.

Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.
