The care the day of surgery was amazing and the follow-up care was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Latona. My eye surgery recovery went beautifully and I see better in my 60s than I did in my twenties.

That's refreshing; we all know what a spectacle it can be to call a doctor, with phone trees and long holds and no appointments open for months. Dr. Clay Jones is my doctor there. I don't believe I've ever seen the others. Apparently he's good, as I can now see better (when I wear my glasses.) He remembered me from last year, and we had a pleasant, light conversation. Always nice not to feel invisible. The site is okay. It's within view of downtown. The medical office building is connected to the hospital, and while it's nothing special at first glance, upon closer inspection, there are decent food and coffee spots inside the hospital (on the ground floor.) The parking garage costs a few dollars. Since cash use is fading, I've noticed they now accept credit cards. A bright person will bring sunglasses for their trip home after the dilating eyedrops. And keep in mind, you clearly shouldn't drive right after the appointment. If you must drive yourself, factor in time to lazily wander the hospital afterwards. Strolling through the gift shops and cafes might make it less dull. From my perspective, Abrams Eye Care operates with an aura of efficiency and hospitality. I'd rate them high on the charts.

We called after 2 weeks to see the status of the glasses and that was when Zack said the sunglasses were there but they didn't have the clear set. I had to ask why and was told that they would call back to let me know why . A call was never made to me so I waited a couple of days and called again! A representative a woman stated that the glass maker told them that they had lost the glasses and now had to order the frames and it would be another couple of weeks!!! By this time , I was livid not only do they not keep on top of glasses that were ordered but no one contacted us to tell us of a delay and why. That is horrible Customer Service, do they not care to take care of a client from start to finish or is it, that once they have my money the sale is over!!! We feel that the prices of the glasses weren't cheap so the service should be top notch. Once the clear glasses did come in, we were contacted but we shouldn't have had to do all the reminding and follow up. He bought 2 pairs of glasses but one pair didn't seem the same. He tried to tell them something was not right but they said both were exactly the same. Fast forward He went to a new optometrist this year and took both pairs to have just the lenses updated; he was told the prescription were not the same. The eye exam performed by the new optometrist was more detailed and they actually did an in depth exam on his bifocals. He said myeyedr was not that thorough. Now that he can compare he says his new lenses and contacts are so much better than when he got new glasses and contacts from myeyedr. Myeyedr is also more expensive and they just weren't very attentive to my husband.

She was punctual, able to rearrange my appointment when need be and has a courteous staff. I highly recommend her for any eye-related needs. She was also very personable and has an awesome "bedside manner."
