AWESOME! Job well done. Had Kaui's come and do a whole house cleaning for my very first time and was very impressed. Don't tell mom. She came a couple days before to give me a quote for my four bedroom, three full bath, large closed in patio, newly renovated kitchen & appliances, and even clean my open beam living & dining room chandelier & ceiling fan. I also asked about my windows, she said no problem and ask if I wanted them to fold the cloths in laundry room too. By just watching her go through my whole house looking & touching things as well as explaining what they can do I was very existed to get it done. It wasn't till a day after job we got to see what was done, the bathrooms were spotless, bedrooms carpet was fully and everything was dusted, wiped down & straightened up including dinning & living room. Kitchen counter was polished, cabinets was wiped down from top to bottom including all appliances. Kaui was the first person to contact first after inquiring to three other companies. She was able to come down to give us a estimate and shortly after we scheduled for a cleaning.. Here's the low down, Kaui cleaned a family house, which was used for a rental. The previous tenants did not take care of the house; therefore, mildew started to grow in the bathroom and the kitchen was infested with roach feces. My family and I literally cried when we saw the house because the house wasn't movable or safe to live in. Just imagine, dumping your trash can of rubbish throughout the house, or picture a scene from hoarders, that is how the house looked like.. So basically, Kaui and her lovely crew cleaned the house and focused in areas that needed the most love, which was the bathroom and kitchen.. When the cleaning was done, my family and I were so happy. The bathroom looked better and I could see the walls, the white walls, hahah.. The kitchen didn't have roach feces and the walls were scrubbed really well, the house has white walls now.. I couldn't be any happier with the hard work they put in. Kaui and her crew worked really hard and it shows.. Now that it's clean, we can start repainting the entire house, add floors, and everything else we need to make the house the way we want it.. DO NOT Use this company!! Absolutely terrible. I have a million reasons. I'll start with our appointment scheduled at 9-915am on a Saturday, Kaui (the owner) called me at 915am the day of the appt and said she could not make it due to one of her people calling out. She knew we were leaving island on the upcoming Monday, that is why we had scheduled a move out clean on Sat) She said she could come Monday, I said I had my carpet cleaner already scheduled Monday morning. She said she could do the move out clean ANd clean the carpet back to back no problem. I told her I'd have to see if I could cancel my carpet cleaner. I was able to cancel my carpet cleaner so I called her back, she said she would do the move out clean and the carpet on Monday at 1pm. Three men came Monday and started cleaning, after a couple hours they all left. Kaui was there by then and told me everything was done. She had completely forgot about the carpet and did not have her carpet cleaner. So she went and rented one, while she was gone I found the downstairs bathroom drawers and cabinets to be completely filthy. When I showed her she said "what was my guy doing in here for so long if he didn't clean this"? Um I don't know, he's YOUR employee, not mine. She cleaned it. Next fiasco, She did not bring her extension cords for her carpet cleaner and it kept shorting out. After my husband kept resetting the circuits for her, she said she probably couldn't do it and that she would just charge us for her rental of her carpet cleaner. (LMaO! Um no lady, we will not pay for you to rent your carpet cleaner to get promised job done.) she said this happens a lot on these plugs and I she didn't have a proper extension cord, it was jsit going to continue to short out. meanwhile our flight leaves in a few hours. My husband borrows an extension cord from a neighbor, she finished carpets. Honestly her company did a half ass job, they were completely disorganized, and a hot mess. I would NOT recommend them. Save yourself the headache and waste of money. I will say her employees were polite- that's about he only positive I have to say. read more

Initially wanted to have them clean EVERYTHING including my windows and carpet, but because one person was sick, we schedule the windows and carpet during the following week. They were very detail oriented, not only has every corner has been cleaned and dusted but they also folded the toilet paper like you see in hotels. I've been waiting a few months to cool off before writing this review just to be fair. So here it is. I lived in this residence with 3 other roommates for over five years. Had Kaui come and give us a quote to clean our house about 3 months prior to our moving out. It was a big house and not cheap, but we opted with this company for their reviews. It was a mistake. The day of the cleaning Kaui arrived after her crew and stormed in. Apparently something was amiss. Moments later I hear doors and drawers slamming among shouts of 'What the fuck!!!' I am not exaggerating in the least. I am non-confrontational person and no idea how to handle her actions. I was SO uncomfortable, so I call my roommate, who had hired her, to ask her to get home as soon as possible. My roommate arrives minutes later. Kaui has calmed down and explains that she needs $100 more than her original quote. My roommate agrees because we need to be out THAT day and have no other choice. Is this right?! To give a quote personally and then raise it? I think not. Of course things will be dirtier 3 months later. Is it our fault you did the quote too early? Ok, that sucks but the worse part is that she acted completely unprofessional. She made this experience so much worse for not only me and my roommates, but for everyone else involved. Seriously, the carpet cleaner and building manager along with us felt so unnerved and unwelcome by her actions. She made an already stressful situation unbearable to everyone involved. I called around trying to get cleaning move out quotes and Kauai was the only one who came out to do one in person. She was so nice and professional but the cleaning crew really did a great job. They got there 2 hours early to make sure they could do a great job. I forgot to ask for an itemized invoice so we could show our landlord what the clean included, and she was kind enough to send it to me within the hour. Bad experience!!I hired Kaui and she forgot to come on the date we scheduled. So we rescheduled. She had given me a quote for bi-weekly cleaning ($200.00) and said she brought a small crew of 3-4 and her own supplies. On the date we rescheduled, Kaui showed up in a huff, was ranting about traffic and politics while I was trying to work at my computer, also she would only stay two hours. She brought one girl, an old vacuum, several old and dirty rags and no cleaning solutions or supplies. After a half hour, I asked her to leave because she kept talking about all the places she had to clean that day and how she could work 2 hours but that she worked very fast.... I was very stressed having all that negativity in my home. She and her "crew" of one didn't even vacuum my living room floor or front entryway. She did wipe my kitchen counters and dusted one fan. I paid her $100.00 and told her I hoped she had a better day at her next appointment. I was honestly afraid she might go off on me if I just flat out told her to leave. So, I just gently nudged her and her compadre our the door. Extremely unsatisfactory! Her bad day made mine terrible! I spent the remainder of tmorning cleaning my own house trying to shoo out all her bad vibes! read more

Wish there was a 0 star rating I could give these people. The owner, Kaui is one of the most rude, unprofessional, lazy, people I've ever met. We had a a very small and simple (but incredibly overpriced) job for her and her team. She'd come by a few days earlier and said it would be a very easy job as it was tiny and not very dirty. On the scheduled day of the cleaning, her team refused to clean because we still had our luggage and sleeping bags in the apartment after the movers had moved about 99% of our things - they said they preferred to come back the following morning after we had found someplace to stuff all of our possessions while they cleaned, at which point they stated again that it would be a very simple easy job that they'd have complete in no time. The three person team (the older female was loud and obnoxious, though the younger lady and gentleman were more or less polite) had me speak to their boss, owner Kaui, on there phone who told me "it's the end of the day, they just want to go home early," so we rescheduled for the following morning to appease them. On the morning, the team showed up again, this time about 45 minutes late, and told me that they should be finished in about an hour. I left them to it and returned two hours later with my property manager to complete the walk through. They said they were still working and needed a few more minutes, so I was forced to ask my pm to meet me in another 45 minutes. This inconvenienced both of us, but we had no choice. When we came back, they informed us they were finished and said goodbye. The property manager shook his head the whole walk through and told me that I really should get my money back or have them re-clean the condo, as it was so poorly done. They did not clean any walls, did not clean window sills, sweep the patio, clean closets, etc. The PM stated that he would have to hire a "real" cleaning crew to come and correct all of their shoddy work, which would also be coming out of my security deposit. As we were leaving, we saw Kaui pull up in her big truck and stopped her to let her know that the job was not complete. She immediately flew off the handle blaming everybody else under the sun. Not her responsibility, and she refused to clean or reclean the parts that were left undone. After pleading with her to actually come inside to look at the horrible job she and her crew did, she came upstairs with us and acknowledged that her crew left several areas untouched, but still refused to address them properly. Kaui insulted us over and over and was completely rude and unprofessional. No deposit back and nothing done about the laughable half ass job... just a shrug while blaming and insulting the customer and PM. Could not believe the lack of professionalism... should have paid more attention to the negative reviews left on this site. I wouldn't doubt for a second that the vast majority of the positive ones are left by Kaui's friends and family... What a horrible experience. read more

Stay away from Kaui Cleaners. If I could give a -5 star I would. Please save your money and take your business somewhere else. Kaui charged me $375 to clean a 400 sqft condo and I still didn't get my deposit back from my landlord. The fans, walls, and doors were not cleaned at all. Kaui checked out the unit a week earlier to give an estimate and didn't tell us that she required the unit to be completely emptied prior to cleaning it. She was unprofessional and rude when we told her what the property manager had said about the cleanliness of the unit. She also had blamed us for hiding the dirty walls when she checked out the unit a week earlier for the estimate. We wouldn't hide anything as we wanted to get this done right in order to get our deposit back. Plus, we only had the bed, TV, and boxes in the unit when she checked it out and thought she knew what she was doing before making an estimate. Yes, the place was a little dirty, but that is why I was willing to pay $375 to get such a small place cleaned. There are other places out there with better service and cheaper prices. We just moved out of our rental and needed a deep clean for a house we've been in for 5 years. Kaui's crew did a wonderful job on our bathrooms, especially the toilets and bathtub that had terrible water stains. They took extra care to clean the inside and outside of our appliances, even moving out the oven to clean behind it. All of our windows/plantation shutters look new too. My wife and I just returned home after Kaui's Kleaners had finished cleaning our house. We are totally satisfied with the outstanding job they did. The grout in one of our bathrooms was prettr black and I told them I really didn't expect them to get it out because I had not been able to get it out after a lot of effort and so I'd probably have to paint it. They got it out. We have occasionally used other home-cleaning services in the past but Kaui's Kleaners out-cleaned them all. Kaui accommodated my short notice and time schedule. Upon reading the great reviews, I came across one written by Andrew D. I was not deterred and called Kaui and spoke with her about services and the said review from Andrew D. Kaui explained that the review was written by a disgruntled ex- boyfriend that worked for her. The alleged statements written by Andrew D were a direct result of being in a relationship with him. Kaui was very open and honest with all my questions. I support women business owners. It seems very upsetting to know someone could write one bad review of lies. I hired them and glad I did. Do not use Kaui's because they will cancel on you last minute. I had an appointment booked weeks in advance to clean my house the day before I moved out. Kaui's booked the appointment but then cancelled at the last minute. I called several days before to confirm and they blew me off saying "We're eating lunch and don't have our book in front of us... Can we call you back?" And that was the last I heard from them. I called 5 more times over the next few days and left messages every time without a callback. Kaui and her crew are life savers! After moving out I started to clean our place to get it ready for our renters. I attempted to clean one bathroom and threw in the towel. I told my husband I wanted to hire cleaners because I couldn't clean the whole house to my expectations by myself in the amount of time we had before the renters came. I was already so tired from moving and now I had to clean this place from top to bottom and watch two kids at the same time? No way, it's going to take me forever! I looked up several cleaners on yelp and Kaui's Kleaners had comparable prices to the other cleaners I called and they were able to come before the renters were moving in. Even though they did come late to our appointment because someone from their crew called in sick, they stayed until they were done and even went back in to clean it to my expectations. That was the best money I've ever spent! It saved me so much time and saved my sanity! Unprofessional and dishonest. This company was referred by my property management company. I set up a quote appointment during my lunch hour. When I contacted her to confirm our appointment she said she was going to be 15-30 minutes late. She then did not show until 1.5 later than scheduled, causing me to be very late back to work. I was rushed and though I was shocked by her pricing of $350 to clean a 650 sq ft condo that is already pretty tidy...I figured it was island priced and put a deposit. When on my way back to work, I called other referral of property management who told me she charged $35 per hour and she assumed it would take 4-5 hours. This was half the price so I called Kaui back. She did not answer and did not return my phone call. I contacted my property manager and she was disappointed because of the price gouging and the unprofessional attitude. I finally got contact from Kaui and she said she would refund me my deposit which I was pleased enough with but when I opened my mail this evening I was disappointed that just as stated in other reviews, she kept the amount charged for taxes for herself. Yelp forces me to give this business one star but it really does not deserve any. I am sure as with other posts, she will take the time to respond to this review to pretend to be an honorable business women...but I do warn you not to be fooled.
