The 808 Poke and Cali Bowl Poke
    Sandy T.

Fresh and delicious food. Counter service. Choose from signature rice bowls or create your own. There are weekday lunch specials before 3pm. I ordered the 808 bowl and tried the California bowl. Both were tasty but I liked the California bowl more (the sauce it came with was unbeatable). They were both fresh and flavorful. Tried their new menu item, Korean fried chicken. It wasn't battered or tossed in any sort of sauce but it had basic seasoning and tasted good. I was impressed with this rather lowkey place. Inside was clean and bright. Nice space to dine in for a quick-casual lunch. Will definitely be back to try all their menu items.

Please, please, please go to Kawa Express! This is a quality establishment with excellent up front service! The apace is clean and fresh, very modern and comfortable. The selection of food is astounding; poke bowls (what a range!), sushi, k-dogs, fries, and more. Their sushi rolls, of which I got the Hot N Spicy Kawa and Pink Slip Roll, are maxed out in quality and quantity. You will get more than you think, which is so excellent for sushi. JUST. GO.

    Bulgogi Bowl

Great bowls and sushi! Their bulgogi bowl is insanely delish; the meat is super tender and everything in the bowl works wonderfully together. Their mini spring rolls are perfectly crispy and you get a bunch. I typically stick to California rolls (I'm a newbie to sushi) but I ventured out and tried the Lisa Lisa roll and I'm so glad I did; my only complaint is I wish the sauces they put on the roll were served on the side for takeout because it soaked into the panko and made less crispy. But still delish! Will continue to come back for their bowls!

Everything was amazing! Food was delicious. Quickly made and tasted great. The owner was very polite and considerate. I went when they first opened so it was still slow, he gave us some free samples and made good conversation while we waited for our order. Great customer service and care for his staff, also speaks Spanish (and probably Korean/Japanese). It's a small local restaurant that I would recommend! I got my food takeout for lunch.

we made our own poke bowls and bought an order of takoyaki. it was all delicious! owner and staff are very nice and offer to answer any questions. has quite a bit of seating inside and lots of windows with natural light. they also have ipads to order if you don't want to order at the register.

SO good! The owner was extremely friendly, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They have so many options and everything was really fresh. Very flavorful! We can't wait to come back and try some more items. Pictured is: create your own bowls, and loaded kimchi fries with bulgogi. Definitely recommend!

    OMG!!!!!!!!!

Delicious Delicious Delicious! Everything about this restaurant is worthy of TEN STARS. I walked in 20 minutes before closing and received a warm welcome from the owner and the team. The restaurant is super clean and cute! He even gave me a drink while I waited for my food. It's refreshing to receive good service, but Most of all THE FOOD IS AMAZING!

Generally places don't do a good job of cooking bulgogi beef to my liking or it's usually pretty fatty, but this place does an AMAZING job. We recently spent 2 weeks in Hawaii and had some of the best food of our lives and this is the first place since being back that has reminded us of Maui. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The gyozas are unlike and I've ever had. No stone bowls for the bibimbop but still delish. Not the biggest fan of the noodles that were an option for the byob but the rice was great. I do wish fried rice was an option- maybe someday. We got ours to go but the dining room was really cute also.

Luckily, I was able to learn how to order thanks to the nice gentleman in front of me ordering whilst holding a conversation with me. Basically, the set up is a lot like Q-doba. You stand in line, choose your bowl size, choose your proteins and then toppings and sauce. I chose the regular bowl because it had 2 proteins and I just couldn't decide between spicy salmon and spicy tuna. My bowl was delicious! I was impressed with the amount of rice options, the quality of the poke, and the copious amounts of toppings and sauces to choose from. This place was fine for a lunch date where I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in 20+ years. Everything was delicious, though the milk tea with boba was a little too sweet for my taste. Overall, excellent lunch option, albeit a tad expensive for "fast food." My milk tea and regular poke bowl came up to over $22. Certainly worth it, but not a daily go to option on my budget. Def check out poke toki if you're in the area. The food is better than the pun this restaurant is named after. Now turn yourself about, and do the Poke Toki!

We were recommended this restaurant so we were excited to give it a go. Sadly, it was a bit of a miss for us. The gyoza, Rangoon, and ramen didn't really taste to either of us like anything special warranting the price. There's an Asian takeaway close to home that we prefer for these items and it's a bit cheaper. Lunch prices weren't great. I liked the sauce for the karaage chicken, but the chicken pieces weren't very good. My hubs actually had to go inside and get salt. I hate leaving negative reviews, I'm not sure if they were having a bad day? We were really hoping to have a special lunch, but ended up paying double what we would've elsewhere for food that was less tasty. I was really, really surprised. And disappointed. Even if we'd paid less, I prob still wouldn't return. The flavors just weren't flaving. Like, it was good, but not remarkable. The Rangoon were probably the best bites, but I can get the same or better quality elsewhere for half the price. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere.
