I am not a body builder. I just wanted something that would have a treadmill and items I used in physical therapy. The bathroom is wonderful. There are several locker rooms. You don't have to bring toiletries or a hair dryer. The gym has gadgets that pump hair spray and deodorant. They are mostly empty. The showers are wonderful. They are ADA compliant. The towels are handy. I stopped bringing mine. There is even a supply of little plastic bags to put wet things in. They also have a "salad spinner" for wet items. Your bathing suit xan be mostly dry when you leave. There are trainers available for you super motivated people. I noticed a machine selling meals near the check in desk. The pool is lovely. It has two swim lanes. (Don't tell anyone) There is a shower to rinse off before you get in the pool. The hot tub varies in temperature. The pool is supposed to be 84 degrees. It feels a bit cool to me. If you are moving around, it feels better. I love this place.

These other gyms were all different versions of just okay for my needs, although I will note that Ambitious Athletics is well-run and a solid choice, and Fitness Together is lovely if you have big $$ and don't mind a perky trainer who blows smoke about your nonexistent skills, as though you were The Rock. Still, nothing really made me feel like I had found the place until I landed on Anytime Fitness. Traffic and parking: Other posters have mentioned the parking problem, and it's true, so you should make another plan. I take Metro from my job downtown, and the gym is close enough to the Rosslyn stop for an easy walk. If you drive you could try doing Park and Ride from a different stop that has a parking lot. Music: Gym, Uber, and coffee shop music has always been a sore spot for me, because I dislike most pop music lists (especially gack 80s) and most usually play it too loud. This gym keeps a pleasant club track without lyrics rolling, kind of like going to Ibiza or Mallorca but for regular people, and it doesn't trigger me as much as typical dreck coming out of overhead speaker these days. It's decent and I can ignore it, or use the rhythm to synch a machine workout. I may invest in some earbuds for my own music, but for now this is a-ok. Trainers: I'm super picky about trainers because I want someone who is friendly but not nosy, and personable without oversharing. I also don't want to be praised all the time! Some people need a lot of high-fives and good-jobs, but that feels like BS to me. I just want to work with someone who knows what they are doing, be challenged, have some quiet chitchat that isn't too deep, and leave. I think the quality of the personal training is first rate here. Equipment: It is all clean, functions well, and there is a variety between machine systems and free weights. Bathrooms and showers are clean. I almost always bring my own towel, but I forgot it once and their towels were fine (and free!). Overall it was the best I found in the region, and although I wanted a spot in DC, I don't mind hopping on Metro to visit Virginia once in a while and go here. I hope this review helps them get more clients, because it seems quiet most times that I'm there. Obviously I don't want to have to wait for machines, either, but they could use a few more folks to ensure that it keeps running for many years to come.

Fit360 is a great model of a community gym -- the staff is friendly, the owner is a local, and fellow gym goers are courteous. I am someone who benefits from classes to help me push myself and I especially love their lift classes, which are typically small (under 10 people) and mixed gender, with varying levels for each station based on your fitness and expertise. Jonathan and Nino both do a great job as instructors helping with form and technique. This year I also added in some personal training with Kwame and it has been fantastic so far. So glad this gym is part of my community.

I do have the Gold membership and I think that it's a good fit for me since I rarely have ever participated in any type of gym class. They do offered the classes here, and I've seen a number of people leaving from a class. I appreciate that the gym is available for whenever I need it, and even more importantly that they're located so close to me.

The bathrooms and locker rooms are well-designed and clean, and the co-ed sauna and steam room are a major plus. The filtered water stations are always cold and well-maintained, and the smoothie bar is convenient. The reception staff are always friendly! SweatBox is intense, well-structured, and thoughtfully run. The music and variety keep me coming back. Providing ear plugs and cold eucalyptus towels are the many small touches that go a long way during this high-energy HIIT workout. Coach Gwen and Coach Mike are excellent instructors -- clear, motivating, and attentive to form. There are 3 other class studios and dozens of more fitness classes. I have enjoyed the yoga classes, especially Restorative and Deep Stretch. Chris also runs a great BodyPump class -- strong pacing and consistent energy. I was given a free day pass to try the gym and I will not be enrolling in a membership because I am looking for a meathead gym. The issue is that the free weight section has a LOT of work that needs to be done. The free weight area is so small that only 4 benches can fit and that's a TIGHT squeeze. There is literally NO room. I understand that in the track/cross fit/ cardio section there are more free weights, but even that area has a horrible selection of benches to use. If you're a cross fitter then you'll love the track area... There's several row machines, medicine balls, and an entire cross fit rack area full equipment. The spin bike area rocks thanks to having about 40 bikes (not entirely sure...I'm WAG'ing the number) You can definitely find something to work iut on...but the space is not the greatest.

Now they've been charging me for the past three months anyway, despite the fact that I already reached out to cancel. It's ridiculous. This place is straight-up greedy. I've already paid close to $200 for the first month alone, and they're still charging me for absolutely nothing. I do not recommend this place at all. When you try to call, they tell you to talk to Brian, who acts like he owns the world and has zero patience for anyone's frustration. Honestly, this is the first review I've ever written in my life, and this place fully deserves it. DO NOT sign up here unless you want to end up wasting hundreds of dollars.
