This review is for the Sunset Sail on Fury's Commotion On The Ocean…read more We absolutely loved our sunset sail. All of the crew were super friendly, happy and amazing hosts. The served drinks promptly and expeditiously upon boarding the sailboat. The band was lively and sounded great. We stayed on the top level of the boat and the crew walked around and refilled drinks which was so nice. We didn't have to walked down to the bar and could just enjoy the weather, the sailing and the view! Kudos to Captain Willie and his entire crew for being such a delightful group. They deserved all the tips!

Our reservation was for 9:30am...we were told to arrive at 9:15am for paperwork....we arrived at 9:04am....one of the employees called in sick and the owner, Angel was doing a one man show. (Getting the skies ready and doing paperwork, running for gas.) At 10:00am we had our vest on ready to go!....then a group of cruise people showed up 10:03am...asking if they could join our tour....(their reservation was for the 11am tour.)....Angel did tell them no, we had been waiting awhile for our tour. ***WE LEFT THE DOCK AT10:09!!!!!!am... went out to the gulf, road around, Angel explained 'sacrificial leaf's of the mangroves, swam for about 10 minutes. ***WE CAME BACK TO THE DOCK AT 10:56am!!!!!! ***(I wear a waterproof Apple watch; and was wearing it today!) I asked Angel about our short trip being less than an hour....he said it was by mileage and not time.....BUT HAD WE LEFT AT 9:30AM AND RETURNED AT 11:00AM...THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN 1.5 HOURS!!!! ***I understand an employee called in sick, but that is NOT my issue...then leaving half an half hour late...I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT!!! ***DOWNTOWN ON DUVALL STREET (next to the The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory)....THERE IS A GENTLEMAN SELLING 2 HOUR 27MILE ISLAND TOURS 50.00 LESS THAN WE PAID WITH 'ISLAND SAFARI TOURS'!!!!----THE MAN SAID YOU CAN SNORKEL ON HIS TOURS RIGHTOFF THE JET SKIES!!!!!!!! Our 'captain' and 'guide', Bethany, was really good at handling the boat, and all that went with it (including us)!! Maximum number of guests is six, today we were four, we all got along well. The kayaking around the little mangrove island was easy despite the moderate wind. Those easily frightened need not be. Bethany imparted a lot of interesting mangrove facts as we went as well as pointing out the different birds that occupy the island. Not really an island as it's all mangroves and no sand, dirt or rock to stand on. Snorkeling that day wasn't great. It had recently rained and the water was a bit murky but we did see a variety of sponges and a few fish. The sail back to port was relaxing, snacks were put out, pineapple and those chunky pretzel things, and for a bit, all was right in the world.

The catamarans were easy to drive. Our guide was great and took pictures and shared them with us as well as the route we took. We were in a larger group and did not leave on time. The guide told us to not worry as we would get our full time on the water. He was right we spent 2 hours and 10 minutes on the water. Just that would say that they are an honest and above-board company! We took drinks and ice. They had a cooler for us to use. The navy was doing touch and goes from their base. We flew under the jets and it was one of the coolest things that I have done. You could almost reach out and touch the planes with how low that they were flying. I can't wait to be in Key West again to take this tour.

Got…read morerained out the night we initially booked and they didn't cancel until we got there which we were out $30 for Uber to and from our hotel. Rebooked easily for next night. It was a fun experience. The boats aren't completely clear as pictured but bottom you can see through. Guide was fun, had some facts about the wildlife but was young and didn't grow up in the area so a learned speech kind of situation. He let us kind of go at own pace. Saw one shark before we even left the dock but jellyfish, crabs, fish mostly on the water. Would probably try a different company next time just to see the difference but had a great time doing something we've never done before!

Bring a flotation device and float along the lazy river, or grab your beach chair and some sunscreen and catch some rays along the beach area. This is a beautiful place to spend a few relaxing hours by private or chartered boat. Pets are discouraged from being brought on shore as this is a protected wildlife sanctuary. There is a quick drop after about 15-20 feet from the beach depending on tides, so mid to larger size boats can anchor here. This was one of the coolest things I've experienced!…read more We booked for Wednesday night, but the weather was forecast to turn ugly. Brandon called us and gave us the option to move our reservation to Thursday night, or receive refunds. We moved our reservations, and are glad we did. The company uses some sort of sliding platform that allows you to get into, and out of, the kayaks very easily. Getting in and out of the water is as simple and pulling on the handrails on the sides of the platform. The clear bottom kayaks, and the LED lighting, made it easy to see to the bottom of the shallow ocean we kayaked through. We saw a lot of life, including iguanas in the trees, sea sponges, crab, lobster, jellyfish, octopus, starfish, a couple small schools of fish like blue tetras, and a couple tarpons. Brandon, our tour guide, let us hold or touch a crab, starfish, lobster, and octopus. All very cool! I will definitely do this again next time I'm in Key West.
