The ladies who run this business are very sweet and take their time. Lots of other salons will rush but not Kayla's Spa they take their time to make sure you are happy. I have recommended my friends to this location because when it comes to acrylic they are very good at it and never make it too thick, it's always perfect. It's also very clean inside and they have lots of options for gel. They can get busy at times so I recommend giving them a call for an appointment. I used to work in Livermore and would go all the time but now that I work in San Ramon. I came on my day off and they were able to get me and my sister a spot for 2 pedicures. Never have been disappointed at Kayla's and will keep going and recommending friends and family as well.

I walked in here today after my fathers day brunch. It was slow so I thought I'd make an appointment for my wife same day. After standing in line behind one person the attendant looked around me to help the next person who was a female. I proceeded to tell him that I was here and waiting. He then asked how he can help me. Too late you showed me what your business is about. I wouldn't recommend if you have melanin as you might be skipped over. His guilt than trigger him to come outside with the owner after he saw my wife walk up. They proceeded to apologize and offer 10% off.

So sweet, they opened a fresh new dip powder for me and gave me cold water when I walked in! They did a good job with my sister who bites her nails, though they did cut her cuticle a little too close making her bleed. My dip nails were painless and done very fast. They are a little big in shape, I don't think she thought about the thickness or how my hands would look. I think for convenience it's a five star, but it's not wedding nail material. It was $65 total, 50 for mine and 15 for her manicure. 20 percent discount though because of grand opening

Insisted on upselling to gel nails. I had to get upset before they agreed that I just wanted a basic manicure. Technician seemed inexperienced and made my nail bleed. Other technician took over and did a horrible job. Lesson learned. I won't go there again

I absolutely love this place! I went after reading reviews on Yelp and looking at the photos and they did not disappoint! Kayla and Helen were amazing and so accommodating. They even gave me a free eyebrow wax for my Birthday:) 10 out of 10 would recommend them.

Probably the best builders gel manicure I've ever had. they actually used a little round ball in my cuticles and my cuticles look the best they've ever been. I've never had another nail salon do this. And the couple who own it are so kind and sweet. Highly recommend. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Kayla Nails and Spa. I had an appointment for a gel manicure and decided to go with a classic French tip. Kevin was extremely personable and I loved talking with him. He shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them: a cross between almond and stiletto. I absolutely love them! It was also extremely affordable compared to some shops in San Francisco or Oakland where I usually go. Total with tip for gel manicure was just over $50. I will come again when I am in the area. read more

Today was my second time in since they went under new ownership! I came in after work a few months ago for a pedicure and was so happy with it that I came back again and this time I brought a friend. We both got a #3 pedicure that included a warm wax, a massage, and my favorite part - what I call "the cheese grater" I left both times with baby soft feet that lasts for days! Helen is so sweet, as is everyone else we've met there. She did a great job with my gel polish and she even does great nails (check out her Instagram @helen_nails_84) which I'll have to come back to try. 2 stars for a good polish job and friendly staff. Otherwise I wouldn't return. I just think there are nicer nail salons in Livermore. Also, paid for a pedicure that was to include a scrub, masque, and hot towels. None of which occurred during my treatment. Paid $50 for a gel pedi that was basically a quick cuticle cleaning, speedy foot buffing, and a lotion application. And it wasn't even busy! Nobody was waiting to be seen after me. This is also the type of place that waxes your face while you're sitting in a pedicure chair for all to see. I guess if you're into that, this is the place for you. Cannot recommend, won't be returning. read more

My nails have ripples on them. I got the tap nails and they look awful, instead of smooth, the nails have bumps and there are tiny bubbles in the polish. I asked for the nails to be rounded and they are more pointed. These are the worst nails I ever had done. Never again. I would give one star if I could. read more

came into Kayla's this morning because i needed a full acrylic set and a pedi before leaving for a bachelorette weekend tomorrow, I'm so glad i did! i had friends recommend Kayla's and I'm happy that i listened to them! the ladies who helped me were so sweet and really made me feel comfortable as someone who doesn't get their nails done often. ana did my acrylics and they look exactly how i wanted them to, but better! It's Saturday and I found out the hard way that getting your hair done in Livermore can be difficult today because of the Rodeo Festival. I walked to every single hair salon which were within minutes of one another and they were all closed or unavailable!!!! I've been going to this place at least once a month for over a year now. I was new in the area when my sister and I stumbled upon this place last year. We are particular with people who do our nails especially our eyebrows. Kayla and Helen never failed to deliver exquisite services. I came in today an hour before closing without an appointment or prior notice. They took me in and stayed longer than they should've just to accommodate me. Did my manicure, pedicure, and eyebrows and I never felt that I was rushed. They took their time to make sure I'm well taken care of plus their mom gave me the ultimate foot massage which I badly needed. This place deserves the recognition it's getting. 100% recommended! This was one of the best experiences i've ever had at a salon. The staff is A1 and has great hospitality. They greeted us with water and snacks. We showed them what we wanted and they did just that. Kayla was super gentle with my hands and stopped to ask me questions about my nails. I would 100% recommend this location and will for sure make the drive again. read more

Came in for a shellac manicure and pedicure with Linda. She did a great job! She's super personable. She said she's been doing nails in the area for over 16 years and you can tell she knows what she's doing. She took her time with both which I appreciate. Most places are quick to take your money and get you out. My pedicure was relaxing and my feet are super smooth. Will definitely be back. read more

I finally found my way to Bless and to Nira's capable hands. Nira is gentle, precise, and methodical. At my previous salon, they would have me in and out in 5 minutes, but they would regularly miss spots. I would much rather go somewhere where they take the time to make sure they are doing a great job. Every time I leave Bless, the results are clean and flawless. I'm usually able to finish a brow + upper lip appointment within 15 minutes. Pricing is reasonable for the area, at $12 for brow threading and $15 for brow + upper lip. They accept both cash and card, and it's easy to make appointments by calling, although they take walk-ins as well.

I'm local here In Livermore and I went downtown for lunch and stumble across a grand opening sign under new owner. I needed to get my nails and pedicure done so figure why not give It a try. Wow! The customer service was amazing! The ladies welcome me with a nice cold bottle of water on this hot day! The music was really nice and relaxing but best part is Helen exceeded my expectation! I've been to many spa before but this one is definitely on my top list! I highly recommend this nail spa and will definitely visit again. My friend also got her nail done too and she loved It. I'm new the getting my nails done in Livermore and was walking by one day and decided to give them a try since my old mail tech was out on vacation. Chelsea's hair and nails are under new management and the first time I came in a little over a month ago, I had gel nails that were chipping off and Helen recommended I get dip nails so that my nails would grow and prosper. I took her advice and my nails have never looked better! I came in again today to get dip nails because she is just that great and I was very satisfied with the service she really cares and takes her time! read more

I was looking for a nail salon and stumbled across this place. Soon as I walked in they were attentive. They offered water, air and played good music. I showed Helen one picture and she nailed it. I love this shop normally i would get have to change my style for other nail shops and get turned away but they were able to do it well.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Absolutely love this place! Helen was so sweet and did my nails flawlessly. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend Chelsea's. Helen did a full acrylic gel set for me in such a timely and efficient manner and their rates are also so reasonably priced. 10/10 love it! read more
