Sometimes when you try new nail salons, it takes a while to find someone you like. At Galaxy, I definitely found a couple of lovely ladies that do an AMAZING job. Lena and Lynn (the owner). So patient, so kind, and they do exactly what I want every time. I've never had a bad experience with either of the two. The other girls in there seem nice as well, very kind and welcoming. The salon is clean, quiet, and they offer you a fresh refreshment as soon as you sit down. As far as pricing, I find it very reasonable. I'm definitely willing to pay for something that I am going to love in the end. I do recommend you pay cash, I believe you may get charged a small fee if you pay card. Parking here is plentiful, it's a couple doors down from the Safeway The two ladies working here are so kind so far! I walked in, was welcomed, and asked if I would like anything to drink. They have coffee, water, tea, and mimosas all complimentary! Will be back with more after the service is complete! Service was so nice! I truly love when nail salons set a timer for the massage time they say because it feels so much more honest so I was happy that was done! I got the leg mask and lemon slices massages on my legs before the warm towels. I got regular polish and they used the quick dry spray so I could get out of there faster. They gave me the paper sandals to head out with and that was appreciated since I came with socks and shoes lol They have a happy hour from 9-2 so your service is 15% off! My $75 pedicure ended up being $64 so I was big fan of the discount. The only downside to this nail salon (just like all the others) is they tell you a time and they end up being late. My appointment was at 11 but I didn't get into the chair until 11:06 and my service didn't start until 11:15. $85 pedicure won't even last you 1 week. Save your money. Last Thursday 4/16 I treated my mom and I to pedicures, when we got there we picked out number 1 for myself $40 and number 2 for my mom $55 and we both asked for Gel, they asked me half way through if I wanted an extra treatment for my moms heel which would be $10 extra I said sure no problem. The problem lies when I go to pay I am getting charged $145!!! For an $85 pedicure and a $60 pedicure. The only enhancement I made was Gel. Was never notified it would be an extra $20??? Other than my mom also getting gel and the heal treatment that turned her $55 to $85 which they only ever mentioned an extra $10 for her heel treatment. Yesterday, literally a week later my mom told me her nails were already chipping. Please save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Worst pedicure experience. I booked an appointment to get a pedicure at the same time as my best friend. We arrive, and while waiting approx 15 mins another customer comes in for the same service. They seat alll of us at the same time, they start on my best friend, and the other girl, but not me. At the moment I give it some grace because I see they are busy, there was about 10 people in that thing and only 4 staff members. I wait. And wait. And about 45 mins later, with my feet still soaking, no one has started my pedicure. At this point my best friend is almost done with her pedicure. I decided to tell them I want to cancel, that's when another staff member comes over begging and pleading for me to stay and get my pedicure, they will give me 10 percent off. Not only was the pedicure rushed, It was the worst pedicure I've ever paid for, and I can't believe I paid $50 bucks for it. They took off my toe nail polish with a sanding too, which dug into my toenail, making them grow with a noticeable divot in them, the scrub ans massage was one swipe, literally only wiped on the scrub and then the lotion in one swipe. That was when I decided to opt out of getting a color, as I didn't want to have one more thing to be disappointed in. Over all, I won't be back. I understand they were short staffed however there was allot of things that they could have done to recover their mistake. I feel ripped off. Hoping this helps anyone avoid the disaster that I encountered. I will say, the place is very nice looking, but that's all I have positive for this place. read more
