The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

Service was exceptional, very attentive, friendly and they even gave a card to my sister in law and her husband. Definitely very sweet. Ambience is amazing, modern, romantic and chic. Unfortunately no valet parking, so parking is a little bit of an issue. You have to park on the street around the restaurant and area is not super safe. We had some mocktails that were good. Definitely a great tasting and unique. Roasted golden beets were great, tortellini were amazing, yakitori chicken was exceptional. I think our favorite was garbanzo croquettes. Definitely a great place to be. The quality and creativity is amazing, I think it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay.

We ordered, happy hour wine, a happy hour old-fashioned, the gnocchi, tuna, tartare, and charcuterie on happy hour. These happy hour dishes are $10. Off the happy hour menu we ordered a zucchini dish that was highly recommended. All food was the kind that you take small bits and savor each slowly. All very good. The happy hour portions are very small, but the zucchini was a decent size. I do look forward to going back. The bartenders and servers seem very excited about their jobs and generally love where they work.

This is a good place for lunch, if you can get a lunch deal…read more I ordered online for takeaway. Sadly, there were no lunch deals available with the online ordering system, so my meal was less of a bargain. I ordered a strawberry matcha tea with brown sugar boba and karaage with lo mein. As I was driving over, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that since they just opened that morning, the boba would not be ready for an hour, so I could either wait or switch to popping boba (I chose the latter). Also, the karaage is no longer on the menu, so could they switch to whole wings? Fine. The food was ready when I arrived. It was packaged in styrofoam, and the corners were NOT punched out, so by the time I got home, the chicken was no longer crispy. (Thankfully, I did sample a wing in the parking lot before I drove home, so I can say that the wings are crispy and delicious if eaten immediately.) I had ordered medium spice, and it was spicy! And I like spice! If you are not spice tolerant, go with mild or no spice. My lips are still feeling hot. I thought the food was good, not life changing. Pretty typical Americanized Chinese food plus wings. My matcha tea was on the sweet side and with not a lot of matcha flavor. I wish I could have requested a lower level of sweetness on the online ordering site.
