We just moved close to the area and my hubs and I were on he hunt for a closer local sushi spot. We have pretty spoiled taste buds from our usual spot but let me tell you...this place can definitely compare! They have sizable portions that match their price point. They have fun infusions of flavor that make you want to keep eating. I have always experienced very good customer service while picking up my orders. Since I have only dined in one time my experience is limited but was pleasant. They check in on you frequently and you aren't ever feeling like you're waiting to get your needs met. Such friendly staff. I am hoping to sit at the sushi bar sometime to get a feel for the sushi chefs, but by taste they are all well trained and make delicious sushi. I never tried this place before so I decided to try it for lunch. I ordered their bento box with spicy teriyaki chicken and a salmon roll. The food is truly mediocre. The chicken had zero seasoning on it aside from being tossed in a not-at-all-spicy sauce. The rice was dry and didn't taste fresh. The salad was just plain leafy greens with a weird tasting side dressing (not even sure what it was). The salmon roll was pretty good, probably the best thing in the box. Maybe they have better sushi so I'm willing to give this place a try again for that, but the bento box is NOT worth $13. read more

Best place in the AV. Gold Fish and Red Salmon will need to step up their game . The only reason we decided to come here was because we went to Red Salmon and customer service was terrible, the staff hesitated to seat us, and it took over 15 min to be acknowledged then sent us outside to wait in the cold. Big fan of this place. We are regulars. The only issue i have is the dishes and cups. Maybe the dish washing machine isn't functioning properly but they have been coming out to us either wet, smelly, or with left over food stains. This is an easy fix.
