Eric went back and forth with suggestions to create a door that met our needs at a reasonable price. Personal service, creative problem solving. I must have contacted a dozen different suppliers. Many want commercial large scale work. Others only have off the shelf residential products that didn't make any sense. a patio slider comes in size a, b, c ... which do you want? What a full height opening? we can do 84" None of that worked for me. This project was not that much more money than mass produced, off the shelf, misfit stuff, and 40% less than the big commercial office stuff. Great workmanship and friendly smart people. I strongly recommend you talk to KB Glass and Metal before signing anything.

These guys were totally professional and did a good job installing a custom shower door and bathroom mirror for me. They came out for a quote quickly and were totally pleasant to deal with. They did crack one of my bathroom tiles (they said tiles probably weren't laid right, tile layers said they needed to use sharper bits, I don't know exactly what happened, but it's really not noticeable). Overall I'm super happy with them. Taking one star off because they were supposed to come back with an acrylic strip to prevent water from coming out of the gap between the mounted paned and the door, but never did. Would definitely recommend them to a friend though!

Had a Great Experience with the crew at KB Glass and Metal. We had two 4x6 glass boards we needed mounted in our conference room that weighed ~85lbs each. Unfortunately we didn't think ahead and did not purchase the glass boards from KB Glass but they graciously offered to do the mounting for us at a competitive price. They were quick, efficient and friendly. Going forward, we will purchase our glass boards from KB Glass, as it will be a one stop shop- A fair cost purchase and quality installation~! Highly Recommend!

KB Glass and Metal did a fabulous job fabricating glass enclosures and doors for our two bathroom remodels. One door is on rollers because the width of the bathroom is small. This is the second time I've used KB Glass and Metal for a shower enclosure and they did not disappoint. Especially when we wanted a Seattle Skyline etched into our glass and other companies were not able to include that kind of detail. As you will see by the photos they did a great job. Just be sure to ask for low iron glass and Glass Coating as they did not include this in their quote and I had to ask for it. read more

Our walls in our primary bathroom expand with the summer heat and unfortunately this causes our shower doors to overlap (causing a dangerous situation) in the summer months. Even though this has nothing to do with KB glass & metal's install, the company came by and fixed the issue by adjusting multiple parts of the shower. It was not an easy job! They truly went above and beyond with communication, scheduling, and all around we're super professional as they came up with a creative solution to the problem. Thank you KB! Super appreciate your help & so excited we don't have to worry about our toddler being in a dangerous situation anymore! read more

During the estimate KBs knowledgeable employee was able to help us decide what were the best options for the type of shower we had. He walked us through each one and explained the pros and cons and showed us real projects that had been completed with each style. This allowed us the make the best decision for our home. And the results show it!. Pricing was similar to other installers, as we got multiple estimates to compare. The installers came in and did a great job. The pictures of the install speak for themselves. Look at those rail installs, they were able to keep them center on the tile for a really clean professional look. All in all, we are thrilled with our new shower enclosure! And if that wasn't enough, 12 month warranty on install, BOOM! read more

Don't let the 4-Star rating mislead you. These folks were exceptional from start to finish. Regretfully, I can only give them 4 stars since the vanity mirrors installed were 5" shorter than the length we settled on when the guy came out to measure. We can live with them, but the mirrors would have looked a lot better at the right height. I blame myself for not noticing that the measurement I gave them for the online estimate carried over to the revised estimate after final measurements and shower glass upgrades were factored in. I just wasn't paying attention and KB didn't make a clean hand off from the field guy to the desk guy. In the final analysis, these guys are courteous, professional, and simply blow the doors off the competition. Our master bath is a thing of beauty and they're a big part of that. I would not hesitate to recommend KB and will likely call on them again for investment and rental developments. read more

Eric and his team completed a shower door install for us back in May of this year. Their prices were very competitive and the installation went very smoothly - end product looked fantastic! Last week we started to notice a clicking noise from one of the hinges when the door was being opened. I emailed Kb glass and they replied immediately and added me to their schedule for that week. They came out and fixed the issue by replacing the faulty hinge. I highly recommend these guys as they not only deliver and install an exceptional product, but you can be assured that they will follow up immediately with any potential customer issues after the install. A wonderful company to work with, both in terms of the quality of their craftsmanship and overall experience/customer service. KB installed a glass/metal shower for us, and it turned out beautifully. We had some minor issues after installation with some of the hardware and they were extremely responsive/got the problem resolved very quickly. We particularly enjoyed working with the team because of their professionalism, fantastic communication skills, and flexibility. They worked with my schedule, and were excellent at keeping me updated as to when they would arrive/how long the work would take/etc. In one instance, I had to the leave the house before they finished, and felt no issue asking them to lock up the house once they had finished. When we needed the hardware repaired, I left a key and they came and went without issue. It was fantastic to work with such a trustworthy team; I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing glass and metal work! read more

We called Associated Glass and their technician Joe was out within 30 minutes. He took a look, took his measurements within a couple minutes and promised the office would call and see if they could get out as soon as tomorrow. I was already preparing to put plywood over it assuming there was no way they could get it done the same day. But boy, the office proved me wrong. Rachel from the office called, gave me the price (very fair!) and said we could get a crew out within 15 minutes to make the repair. Their installers, Kyle and Cameron came out within 15 minutes and took a whopping 20 minutes to replace the window. They were prompt, professional and even shined up the new window before they left. I highly recommend Associated Glass! We are blessed to have them right across the street from us! Side note: It's very frustrating to see the poor reviews from those who were completely unaware of the window and parts shortages within the last year. Many companies were struggling to keep up with the demand due to mass equipment, part, glass shortages. It's not the business's fault for the mass manufacturer stoppage due to the pandemic. I wish consumers would educate themselves so they were more aware of the situation entirely before blaming it on the company that was simply trying to stay afloat and get to everyone as quick as they could.

We retained Associated Glass to replace a window. The person who came to the house to take…read moremeasurements measured the window incorrectly. As a result, Associated Glass ordered a window that was the wrong size, but detected the error only when they brought the window to the house on the installation date. The technicians detected the mistake only when they tried to install the window. It took another 3 weeks for Associated Glass to order the replacement window and complete the installation. We communicated via email on May 11, 2026 to confirm the price and promised installation date of May 29, 2026. Because the window was measured incorrectly, a new window had to be ordered from the manufacturer. The final installation did not occur until June 19, 2026 - three weeks after the promised completion date. We spoke to the owner on June 2nd, a few days after the failed installation. He acknowledged the error and verbally assured us hat the situation would be addressed. However, he said it would take a few weeks to order a new window. We asked if he had called the manufacturer to ask if the window could be ordered on an expedited basis. He said he would ask once our call ended. We were surprised that no one on his staff had bothered to ask a seemingly obvious question beforehand. Associated Glass completed the installation of the replacement window on June 19th. Shortly thereafter, we emailed Associated Glass to ask for a price reduction on the outstanding balance in light of the hassle and delay. The hassle included the fact that they affixed a giant sheet of plywood to cover the original window that was removed on May 29th. We assumed they would, at minimum, offer a price reduction in order to demonstrate some level of contrition. The answer in the owner's email reply was a categorical no. There was a line in the owner's reply that didn't sit right with me. In his closing remarks in his reply, he wrote that they stand by their work and that they completed the job as quoted. Yeah, that's true only if the criteria for standing behind your work means delaying installation for three weeks. We want to put our frustrations into context. When an airline bumps a customer from a flight and involuntarily reschedules the customer to another flight later in the day in the same exact same seat and at the exact same price with no added expense to the consumer, the airline did not meet its commitments. There isn't a sane person who would try to argue otherwise. However, here, the owner feels compelled to spin this narrative to claim that he is standing behind his work. It's true that mistakes happen. However, when mistakes occur, it's incumbent upon the business owner to exhaust efforts to restore customer confidence and demonstrate remorse. That is entirely the business owner's responsibility especially when, as in this case, the customer did nothing wrong. Going back to the airline analogy, even the worst bargain airline will offer miles or a gift certificate to the airport food court as a nominal gesture to make amends. In this case, Associated Glass offered nothing. I'm sure these guys may be fine when things go exactly as planned and there are no hiccups. If, however, something goes wrong, our experience is a warning to others that Associated Glass will let you down.

He was also very good at fitting the new AC into the space for the old one and ensuring it was sealed and weather proofed. However, when he finished the work, he left large boxes and packing materials scattered where he opened them and filling our kitchen floor and on the dining room table. He didn't do anything to organize the mess or break down the boxes. He said most of it was recyclable and he wouldn't do anything with it. Left us to clean up after he left and figure out how to manage and get rid of these large heavy boxes. Additionally, he had put the old AC on our deck. We asked if he would recycle the old AC and he agreed - charging us an additional $200 to take it. When he put it on our deck, it left piles of black (not sure what) that we had to clean after he left. Additionally, I had purchased a new bracket to support the new air-conditioner. He decided without consulting me to use the old bracket instead. (Hopefully it last for the long run!)

We had met several window people at the show, but Eric set himself apart by being truly knowledgeable about his products and his demeanor put my wife and I at ease. We set up 3 companies, including Energy Exteriors NW, to come to our home and give us bids to replace all of the windows (13), our French Door, and sliding door. Again, Eric set himself apart by giving us an all inclusive, straight forward, no baloney, and highly competitive quote right off the bat. One other company was over $10k higher! The second was several thousand higher even with the exact same windows, but lowered their price (and content of their offering) to get more competitive with Energy Exteriors NW. They actually, eventually beat their price, but we went with Eric. We ordered all Milgard Trinsic V300 for the windows and slider and the Ultra C650 for the French Door. Our order actually came in early so our installation was moved up 2 weeks. Raymond, Zack, and the rest of the installation crew were total professionals. Installing windows and doors is a messy business, but they managed to keep our home about as dust free as you could hope and the area around our home was equally tidy. They had the use of our guest bathroom and you could hardly tell they were there. They were quick and efficient craftsman that did an amazing job of making our home and our windows look like a million bucks. The installation took 3 days. We couldn't be happier! We highly recommend KB glass . There is tremendous reason why. We signed them up to install the shower glass as our bathroom was being remodeled. When they arrived they were shocked to see that the tile contractor did not follow any standard code and the entire job was below sub standard to the point that any glass installation was not an possibility. They refused to make measurement as the tiles margins were off my miles .They protected our interest. We had to fire that tlle contractor and hire another one to tear out the entire tile work and lay down new hardibacker and the tiles . We hired a new time vendor. KB glass had to wait for another 6 weeks . They even recommended us Seattle Grout and Tile company which took this job and redid the bathroom remodel and did a decent job . Finally KB glass install the shower glass.Their attention to details was highly visible as they took their time to make the job right . They even came and check on the fittings etc few days later. They were always responsive anytime we call or had a question. Truly Professional .Felt like they were installing at their own house. No corners cut ,no rush and through job. Very happy with outcome of glass frameless shower enclosure. KB Glass and Metal was very thorough, responsive, professional, and competitively priced. I called on a day they were closed and a sales rep picked up my call and was very polite and spent time answering my questions even though he officially was off the clock. That professionalism really impressed me. After I conveyed our rough shower dimensions and type of shower glass I wanted, they emailed me a detailed estimate (think powerpoint presentation). Once we decided to go forward with them, they came out to our residence and used a laser tool to take very exact measurements. They brought bracket, hinge, and glass samples with them per our request. They didn't rush us. From order to install was approximately 1 week. On the day of install, they arrived promptly and spent time to explain the install process. The install went smoothly. They also thoroughly cleaned up after the job was complete. I have great respect for contractors who face minor challenges with a calm, can-do attitude instead of getting angry or complaining about the job, and they were definitely this kind of contractor. The quote was reasonable, especially for the custom size of glass we needed, and accurate, meaning what they quoted originally is what we paid in the end. I have an old home that is not level and not square and is uniquely shaped. I was nervous that installing glass would not look well-polished because of the precision required to fit my opening.
