That is ridiculous and honestly horrible business practice they should be letting you know how much extra it would be or at least charging less for something I can do at home. Update: I recommend anyone that needed a nail service stays far away from this place I called last night and tried to get this issue resolved the hung up on me, I went in this morning to seeing someone could help me and the management was so rude to insisted that "if I didn't want the gel shouldn't have put my nails in the light." Horrible customer service I would give this place a zero star if I could. You go anywhere else with a complaint they try to work with you and help you out this place didn't even try to help fix the problem

Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.

I've been coming here for a while and usually walk in, so I've seen several different technicians, and everyone else has been great. During my last visit, I came in for a gel manicure. I already had gel polish on, and the technician at station 7, usually have long fake lashes on started drilling it off. I wasn't comfortable with that, but I let her continue until it started burning my nail bed. When I told her it was burning, she said, "It's okay," and kept going. After the third finger, I told her again that it hurt. She responded with an attitude, stopped, and switched to soaking the gel off. I asked why we couldn't have soaked it off from the beginning, and she told me she was in a hurry because she had another client after me. Ironically, the gel removal and manicure (WITHOUT polish) still took an entire hour! By the end, I was frustrated and just wanted to pay and leave. I was charged $30, even though the posted price for a manicure is $20. I didn't say anything at the time, but overall it was the worst experience I've had here. I will likely return because I've had good experiences with the other technicians, but I will definitely avoid booking with this particular nail tech in the future.

Unskilled filing left cracks up the nails that came up very painfully. I say "they" because the appointment was always with Cecilia but the owner/husband would always grind and file before she grinned and filed some more. Nails were always overworked, sore and raw before first brush. And the man was always a bit too pushy and touchy for my taste. I was uncomfortable since day one; and asked him to stop touching my arm/shoulder. Im sure it's innocent but not professional. We have had to rest & take care of our nails at home because of how painful all the cracks and lack of nail bed have been. Never going back!
