Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership. A few months ago, my girlfriend and I were ready to purchase a used 2016 Volvo XC90. I have the same model, and it has generally been a reliable vehicle for me, and my girlfriend is quite fond of it as well.Used Volvo XC90s are somewhat limited in the central U.S., so when we found this one for sale locally in Olathe, we were eager to check it out. We inspected the car and took it for a test drive, and everything appeared to be in order. My girlfriend decided to buy the car that day with cash; there was no negotiation since she really liked it and the price seemed reasonable. However, just one day later, the check engine light illuminated. Given that the car has many sensors, I assumed it might just be a glitch in the software. My girlfriend reached out to 'SASHA' and communicated with his wife regarding the check engine light problem. We were advised to bring the car in for inspection. A couple of days later, we took the vehicle in, and they examined it, telling us it was ready for pickup. They claimed it was a battery issue. Initially, I believed this explanation, but I was somewhat skepticall. As an electrical designer for a utility company, I have a good understanding of electrical systems and their functions. When we picked up the car, the check engine light had been cleared, but it soon returned. The light came back on the following day. We took the car back again, and the dealership provided the same explanation. This occurred once more, and we were urged to bring the car in again. Nothing was resolved, and we received the same story about a battery issue. I suspect this dealership is dishonest. Regarding the concern with the check engine light; I own a personal scan tool for my vehicles that can clear check engine lights. I attempted to reset the check engine light on her vehicle. The battery was never a concern, as confirmed by the untouched battery terminals located in the trunk of the vehicle. Sasha and his wife are frauds; they used a scan tool to clear the check engine light prior to purchasing the vehicle. We drove just under the mileage limit to avoid triggering a check engine light before completing all the paperwork. Sasha also gives off predatory vibes around young little girls; he behaves in an overly clingy manner towards them. My girlfriend and I brought her daughter along, and while he wanted to hug and show affection, his actions were inappropriate and unsettling. His wife is equally rude and arrogant. Additionally, we have yet to receive the title for the vehicle, and the dealership has stopped responding to our messages. Avoid purchasing a vehicle from this fraudulent and creepy dealership. Holding onto the title is illegal for a dealership, and this practice is also considered fraudulent, which we will be investigating read more

Do not buy a car from these people if you value customer service and a pleasant attitude. This was my first experience in many years buying a used car. My former car, bought new, was totaled. I was under duress, looked at many listings online and found a beauty. William, who introduced himself to me on the phone when I called, was careful to distinguish himself from Bill, the finance gentleman. Bill was actually easy to work with, but it stopped there. When I called several weeks later to voice my concern about a very minor issue regarding my car and it's workings, William, as rudely as I've heard in a long time, especially after just dropping $10,000 at the place, said " what exactly is it you want us to do?" In other words, " Get lost, lady. You've already bought it and we no longer care anything about you or your car. We got our money, that's all that mattered" . I stammered around, tried to explain it was very minor and could maybe they just look? What would it hurt? Instead, he claimed to have called his " owner", called me back and said , big surprise: there's not a thing we are willing to do. " Stay far away. Do NOT buy a thing from them , no matter how gorgeous the car is. There are many more cars out there , sold by decent people and decent businesses. This is NOT one of them. I like my car still, but was horrified at William's treatment. I'm proud to live in such a beautiful area and my son just recently graduated from BV schools. These guys? They don't belong here or anywhere else for that matter until they learn the BASIC concepts of sales and service. I'd like to share my car buying experience from KC Car Gallery South. I purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu priced at $5975 on 8/13/19. Before the purchase I test drove the car and it had an issue. I brought attention to the issue and was informed they were aware of the "minor issue". The salesperson William stated "the car needs a tune up". The check engine light came on within 1 week of purchasing the vehicle. I'm beginning to wonder if they cleared the codes before selling the vehicle. I took the car to a repair shop. Total cost of repairs is $800.00. Car needs a new circuit board (computer system) for car. I purchased the vehicle under the assumption that it had a "minor issue" that could be easily fixed. I was lead to believe by KC Car Gallery that the car "only needed a TUNE UP". I called Sam (manager) to see if KC Car Gallery would cover the cost of repair considering the issue existed before the purchase of the vehicle. On a moral standpoint I feel like they are responsible for covering the cost of repair since the issue existed BEFORE I test drove the car. Sam offered to pay 10% of repair cost. Now I'm without transportation. I can't afford a repair bill of $800. I purchased a car in hopes that I'd have reliable transportation. I'm not a happy customer. I'm now stranded without a vehicle.
