There is no better Chinese food in town. Period. Take it from someone who grew up in a large city, near a Chinatown. Clifton Park is lucky to have gotten such an amazing place. I was searching for decent Chinese food, tried all the local take-outs around, not one was even slightly decent, and then Kcaffe came around and blew my mind. Tried this place for the first time. I ordered their wonton soup. It definitely had a different taste than other places. The noodles were thinner, the meat tasted different (bland?) and the broth was lighter. The price was reasonable and the fortune cookies were that delicious kind with a hint of lemony aftertaste. No, but I haven't written an actual review on this app- so ima actually write a deadass review. I had came to Kcaffe with a friend, and the food was delicious! The only thing we found- concerning- was the fact I found hair in my food- and it wasn't mine. My hair is short. That hair was long. My friends hair isn't long either. So either someone wasn't wearing a hairnet, or there's a ghost with hair in my household. read more

I have had the Mongolian Beef and it is pretty good. If you have never had it, you should try it. This is the only place in the Clifton Park that makes it right. Goes perfect over white rice. read more

I may be biased because I work here but Kc and his wife Tina and the chefs in the back make excellent food. Their dishes may have different twists on things we normally see at Chinese restaurants like thin wrappers on the dumplings and a curry rub instead of sweet sauce on the beef/chicken sticks but to me it's more authentic. Kc also offers Thai food which is spicy but he can moderate the spicy levels. The food here is high quality and made to order with the ability to add or take things away from the dish. Kc works with you to get you the food you want. I'm also glad to say he supports college students (me and my coworker) when other restaurants may not want us. Ordered on line the other night. I ordered plain LoMein, Shrimp w Garlic sauce steamed with sauce on the side, crab rangoons and an egg roll. Let's start by saying the crab rangoons were to die for. Will go back for them. My boys both hated the LoMein, it had a weird aftertaste and was mushy. The egg roll was small and not typical filling. I couldn't really tell what was in there looked and tasted like canned cat food. I ordered (and double checked my email) the large shrimp w garlic sauce. In description I added I wanted it steamed w the sauce on the side. I got a large container for lobster sauce and a SMALL container of 9 shrimp and 1/4 cup of basically Birdseye peas and carrots. When picking up I did ask if rice cane with my order, the young girl was not sure what I was asking and looked to older gentlemen there. He assured me that it came w rice. Guess what was not in the bag..rice.. so my $10 dinner was 20 peas/carrot pieces, 9 shrimp and a quart of lobster sauce. I had to check the receipt stapled to my bag to figure out what was in the quart container. I am very disappointed in the meal. Basically $25 for crab rangoons and steamed shrimp (that had no flavor). I will go back if I have a craving for rangoons as I can't find a place I like them in Clifton Park, but not for much else. read more

I've found.a local Chinese restaurant I will return to. Just ordered first take out of wonton souo(wontons great-broth meh), crispy spring rolls, orange beef and general Tso's shrimp. If you like flavor this is the place we decided I try a new Asian food place because all the ones in the area are horrible. We got a mailer and decided to try KCaffe . We were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the food. I did the red curry with shrimp wow banging flavor it was Thai style and they had brown rice. LOVE this place!! Came here while on vacation. We were late coming into town, and needed a tasty dinner. We were able to order online, head over and pick up our food to go. Once back at the hotel, we were amazed! The food was clearly fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. I really wanted to love this place. I wouldn't write home about the food, it wasnt bad but it wasn't great. The sauces with all 4 dinners we ordered lacked a lot of flavor. Its not your typical chinese takeout. It reminds me of homemade food, does that make sense? I make more complex flavors in my chinese cooking. Clifton park has terrible takeout places, so compared to everyone else? This would be the place we order from. The 2 best things we ordered were the spicy wonton & general Tso chicken. read more

Well differentiated menu options and taste from the other comparable cuisine restaurants in the area. Very pleased with the food and the service! We really love their Thai dishes. This is by far the best food I have ever had! You can order online and pick it up... the only issue with that is that it does not tell you how long it will take. If you call and order they can tell you how long it will be before pick up though.... the one thing I would change would be for them to add delivery!!! Delicious Chinese food, wonderful hot tea and bubble tea, very good service...what more could you ask for? The only reason kcaffe isn't getting all five stars today is because even though we chose to eat inside the restaurant, we were served with the standard take-out containers and given plastic tableware. Maybe in future they can serve "eat-in" guests on plates and with metal forks and spoons, etc. That being said, the service was very attentive and the hot Chinese tea pot was refilled many times and served in tiny glass teacups. You can bet that we will return many times, because the food was prepared perfectly and served very hot. Can't wait to share this place with friends! read more

Nice and Clean chineses food take out or dine in. The good thing was they serve lunch special and it's cheap $6.95 and comes with fried rice and soup or salad. So we dine in they took our order at that time it wasn't busy. We order two lunch special and a tapioca smoothie. The soup came and it was delicious than came our meal one was pepper steak and one General T'so it was all good until I toss my bell peppers and it has a black spot and another has a bruised so I stop eating my vegetables and just finished the rest of the beef knowing I was almost done. When my daughter got her smoothie she made a sour face and said what was this? it's mango alright but its texture and taste was weird because I taste it my self. I asked to change it if she can do it reg with milk kind drink instead of smoothie but than he walk off threw it in the trash and walked in the kitchen speaking chineses sound like he was bitching. Than it got really busy and start lining up for lunch he came back and without a tapioca drink and hand us the bill and said "I took it off! " Okay! so that's that! My wife and I ordered dinner to go tonight, and it was delicious. We had pepper steak and onion, chicken with Chinese vegetables, steamed dumplings, and hot and sour soup. It was delicious, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, and the food was well priced. I highly recommend trying this new restaurant. The online ordering service works well. In southern Saratoga County we don't have many good options for Chinese food. This is a great addition. We will be going back. Welcome to the community! read more

Updating this review. I stopped back in yesterday and ordered the dish I was supposed to receive on my first visit: Beef with Black Bean Sauce. I adore black bean sauce but so few takeout places do it well. The dish was clearly freshly made. Vegetables fresh and crisp. Sauce was light and not too sweet. The black bean flavor was light which is probably most people's preference. I'd have preferred a few more black beans but that's just my own taste preference. My first and last time here. Place was clean. My egg roll was tiny and tasted sour. Ordered general tso chicken combo. Chicken tasted burnt and small ball of brown rice was like rubber and was inedible. Wife had lo mein and white rice. Rice was also rubbery and the lo mein had no taste and was undercooked. Prices were high compared to other chinese places in town. Save some money and heartache and choose any other chinese place. read more

You can tell the food is fresh. Little pricey then other places but the quality was definitely better than other restaurants in town. Wish combo platter came with pork fried rice but I was more than satisfied with the shrimp and broccoli!!!. Wasn't a fan of the eggroll but others in my house liked them. My first experience wasn't a positive one. The Sauce in my Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was watery. The Egg Drop soup that came with the combination dinner one pint container was only half filled. We moved up here to beautiful Clifton Park from Long Island and now accept the trade off. There is no quality Chinese food. read more
