And this is neither here nor there, but when I went to the bathroom, the lights were off and that's fine, but I didn't realize that there was a whole-wall, floor-to-ceiling mirror in there and I thought there was someone else in the bathroom. Today, there were not only about a dozen cars but also two charter busses traveling between Montreal and N.Y.C. Those passengers had finished a buffet that had been set up exclusively for them and were preparing to depart once they all returned from IHOP's restrooms. After joining my table of family and friends, who had just finished their meals, a server asked if I'd like some coffee and if I was interested in seeing a menu. I agreed to both and ordered the Spicy Poblano Eggs Benedict ($15.29) without any side of hashbrowns or fruit. This was abnormally early for me to be having my first meal of the day. Coffee ($3.69) was decent and my food was served promptly. The Benedict was attractive looking. The eggs were nicely poached with running yolks served on top of tender shredded beef, fire-roasted poblano peppers, red bell peppers, chopped serrano peppers, onions, and English muffin halves. The hollandaise sauce was very tasty. Overall, even with all the different types of peppers I did not find the dish spicy. But it was quite flavorful and I enjoyed it. It now remains to be seen how much time will pass before I visit an IHOP again.

They have a butcher shop and farmers market inside where they carry all sorts of meats and fresh produce, locally made baked goods, milk, the freshest of eggs, yogurt and cheeses! What a delight! Karen, the woman who runs the counter, is incredibly friendly and helpful! She goes out of her way to help her customers. I look forward to chatting with her every time I go. The one thing to be aware of though is that they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Tip for the wise: Don't go too late or everything will be picked over!

Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars
