Called to tell them how bad it was (spent $75 for a pizza, 12 boneless wings, ziti, and jalapeño poppers)- it was so bad, we threw it away and had cereal for dinner. When I called to tell them this (calmly and politely), they said "you ordered through DoorDash, we cannot help you" and then proceeded to hang up on me. The pizzas looked good so it seemed like the thing to do. my cheesesteak with everything. $8 for small $10 for large, large was no brainer. $1 extra for the pepperoni. It was cold outside so I had a car picnic. It was a good pizza shop cheesesteak. Traditional roll with a little toast for melting the cheese. Meat had a decent flavor. I've tried this place twice and was let down twice. Stromboli was stuffed with really cheap cheese. I can't tell the moment I opened it up with a knife and oil just poured out. I couldn't even eat more than half. It was really tough to get down. The second time I tried a Turkey club and chips and salsa. The Turkey looked like it was out of one of those plastic packs you get in the grocery store. The chips were ok. The salsa on the other hand was in question. Did they cook it? Was it store bought? However we got green peppers and they were definitely pre- cooked before they went on the pizza, and so they were a bitttt mushy. We also got the chips and guacamole- terrible. Remember, it's a pizza joint, not Tony Roma's. But this food could be served at Tony Roma's and it would still get Five Stars. It's that good. Sure, you share the eating space with the coolers and soda fountain. (Makes it easy to get a refill.) That's OK because you're not paying for ambiance, you're paying for a nice lunch. A lot of orders for that," when I asked behind the counter. "It's steak with grilled onions and jalapenos ... plus rice and beans." I had them put cheese on it for an extra buck. MY GOD it was good. The steak is seasoned and the grilled jalapenos were perfect. *Cooked* but not wiped out. *Tasty* but not overbearing. Wonderful pepper flavor. Man! And the salsa verde that came on the side had the perfect kick. More: I could only eat about half of it. It's big. Six bucks. Seven with cheese, and it's plenty. Comfortably full 'til dinner. Plus, everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. It can be busy. On a nice summer day, there can be five people working non-stop behind the counter. If you're a racist don't come. This place is open to everyone whether you speak English or not. It's a working man's (or woman's) lunch. When it's crowded, you might have to share a table or eat in your car. Update: this review was wrote in Feb of 2016. Figuring they had new staff, we decided to give them another try. The owner (I'm assuming) told me he could not take my order until I took down the negative review. He couldn't wait until after my experience to ask for the review to be updated?!?! I live 5 minutes from KC (same road) and have a family of 6. After ordering delivery at 6:45, my food finally arrived around 8:20 on a Sunday night. After waiting over an hour and half my $70 meal was wrong. I called back and Laura argued with me that we "ordered wrong". No remorse that we just put out almost $100 on dinner, no apology. I asked for a side of BBQ for fries to a wrap and they smothered BBQ all over the two chicken wraps instead. I asked her if she was just going to argue with me or take any steps towards customer satisfaction. She said (with attitude) "do you want a credit or do you want us to send new ones?". I informed her that since I have four children that go to bed at 8:30 I opted for the credit. I was wasn't about to wait another hour and a half. When I asked to make sure the credit was for two she said got quiet then said "sure, yea that's fine". I didn't believe her so I asked for a name to reference and she kept telling me it would just be stored under my phone number. I told her I understand that but wanted the name of the manager that ok'd it, she got quiet again and then I finally got "Tony" out of her. I wasn't ecstatic about the way this was handled but I shrugged it off. Mainly disturbed at the amount of arguing she wanted to ensue instead of rectifying the situation from the start. Not even kidding...at 9pm LAURA had the nerve to call my house back!! Tells me she just spoke to the manager (meaning she didn't before) and he said "since we didn't get the food back, we can only credit $10". IT WAS DELIVERY. I invited her to gladly come get the food (now inconveniencing my entire household to come back after 9 on a school night when the kids are in bed). Not to mention, they wanted to waste the gas of their employee, take the time and money to pick up the food to throw it away and still issue a credit for later?! SHE OFFERED ME THE CREDIT FIRST! It was now 40 minutes after it was delivered! My mind was blown that this was their resolution. We are completely disgusted with the way this establishment handled THEIR mistake. It was clear there was no management in the building last night. Owner should be aware his employees are driving the place to the ground. Worst customer service I've received in a very long time. Reading through the reviews, lack of customer service/satisfaction seems to the number one complaint. Such a shame for an industry where the hardest thing to master is putting out good food. Today I called in a order for 3 slices of pizza for pickup as I was only a couple of minutes away and was on a time crunch. After being put on hold, witch I completely understand I was told that they won't take my order because it was first come first serve for slices. This was was the second time this week ordering and I averaged several times a month. When Covid hit I was a steady patron helping to try to keep the local business afloat. I guess now that they can pick and choose from a larger customer pool the people who helped get them through the tuffets of times are expendable. They're not consistent with delivering fresh pizza, and it's disappointing. We've ordered about 5-6 times from this place and you never know what you're gonna get. It is a whole in the wall Pizzeria that also serves Mexican food located in a strip mall next to a Liquor Store. However, the Pizza and food is always fresh and made with real ingredients. You can get Pizza by the slice or pie. There personal size Calzones are stuffed with amazing cheese and fresh meats or veggies and can feed 2 starving persons easily. Tips: If you are in a rush, call in your order. Parking: Shared parking lot with strip mall. Plenty of it. Restroom: In the back of the restaurant, clean and functional. METAL CLAMP FOUND IN FOOD!!! i've eaten take out of this restaurant twice. The first time was decent. My fiancé loved the meal I thought mine was OK. We were trying to have a special night tonight for my sons birthday celebration and decided to order out. We chose this restaurant. my fiancé decided to order the same food he ordered last time since he enjoyed it. While he was eating it he pulled out a strange thing from his quesadilla. It was a piece of plastic with a metal clamp wrapped around it. it resembled some kind of packaging. It was actually cooked into his quesadilla. But when we saw it obviously our meal got disrupted. my son was too afraid to eat any of his food even though I reassured him nothing would be in his food but he wouldn't eat anymore. My fiancé quickly called the restaurant to let them know what happened concerned that maybe there was other pieces of plastic in other food or something. He really wanted to inform them that this happened. When he called he spoke to a gentleman who informed him he was the manager but didn't get a name as a gentleman refused to give him his name. The gentleman on the phone who claimed to be the manager didn't seem to cooperate very well and did not want do anything to help the situation. He hung up on my fiancé. My fiancé then called right back to ask who the owner of the restaurant was. The same gentleman claimed he was also the owner. My fiancé told him that this is really bad customer service that It should not be handled this way and that he was concerned. The gentleman who was on the phone told him not to call back and that we were no longer welcome to eat at their establishment. we took a picture of the piece of plastic with metal clamping on it. I do plan on going in to speak to somebody to see if that really was the owner. Someone informed me I should get a hold of somebody in the health department. i'm very disappointed in this experience to say the least. And now even if we wanted to go back which we don't we won't be welcome which is absurd. what kind of establishment would treat their customers this way? KC's Pizza is the only pizzeria/mexican eatery I've ever seen, and you'd never know it serves the latter from it's name. But drive by and you'll quickly notice the colorful "COMIDA MEXICANA" banner under their sign. I usually have a good time waiting for my takeout since there will often be a soccer match on TV, and the team jersey wearing customers, cooks, and announcers like to get hyped up and yell things in Spanish. KC's serves up high quality, well balanced, slightly-thicker-than-NY-style pizza. While most of their pies are American Italian standards, their Chorizo y Jalapeño pizza is my favorite. They serve it up with a heavy sprinkle of raw onions and cilantro, as well as either salsa verde or a fiery salsa roja (my fav). Their small mexican food menu is mostly autentica, though there are still hard tacos and quesadillas for kids and 'Mericans. Here, I go for arrachera or carnitas tacos; their lengua is pretty good, too. Their tortas are great, served on fresh baked telera rolls, and the biggest I've seen around Delaware. I'm definitely a fan of the foods I mentioned, but a lot of their typical takeout food is just ok or lacking, hence the 3 stars. Best Tacos in Delaware. Who would have ever suspected a pizza joint serving authentic, killer, Mexican. All of the Mexican food is excellent here but the taco's are hidden gems on the menu. The double-wrapped chorizo tacos with fried onion and fresh cilantro are mouth watering good. The hard shell tacos with authentic queso fresco are a hit as well. I had been a loyal customer for around 4 or more yrs. They have good food & a good selection. On Superbowl Sunday I placed a small order. When I received my order the pizza was wrong. I promptly called the the and notified them of the mistake. Meanwhile a guess had unknowingly grabbed 2 slices. The driver came back & pick the pizza up, he returned later with the correct pizza missing 2 slices. I refused the pizza & called the store. I was told that since 2 slices were missing from the 1st pizza, they would keep 2 slices from my pizza. I tried explaining that my guess didn't know, it's a Superbowl party. I was treated ignorantly & unprofessionally. I never received my correct pizza nor did I get a proper refund. I thought that it was against the law to deliver food after it's been delivered to & open by another customer. Definitely shows a lack of class. I placed an order a few days ago for an Italian stromboli no mushrooms. The message was clearly relayed as it was printed on the receipt. I received my order and mushrooms galore. I place a call to the store and voice my concerns which fall on deaf ears. He swore up and down that I was wrong and that he stood over the chef preparing the food. I suppose I got offended when he implied that "it must be cheese, because it's not mushrooms" that I'm looking at. His only solution was to bring it back to the store after I requested delivery. The "he didn't have time to remake and deliver it to me." Highly upset with the extremely poor customer service and insisiting I was wrong. Please take a look at the pic and let me know what kind of vegetable that is. On top of that, upon beginning to eat the food it was flavorless and the marinara tasted like watered down tomato paste. This place is across the street from work so I eat here at least once or twice a week. They have the absolute best thin crust pizza I've ever had. The chicken enchilada pizza is to die for and the chicken Alfredo, the chorizo and jalapeño, and the fresh tomato are fabulous too. And then there's the Mexican menu. I mostly get burritos, either the carnitas or the arrachera, and they are loaded with meat, beans, and rice with homemade red salsa for only $5.00. That being said, don't waste your time on the subs and other typical sub shop food, it's not bad but it's totally average among a menu of fabulous pizza and Mexican food. Our company does a lot of events for the employees. This time we are having a Cinco-De-Mayo party for 40 people. This is when things started to go bad....Our caterer backed out at 10:50am. Our party was to start at 12:00. I was panicking!! I called KC's at 11:20 and they delivered a catering order to make taco's (chicken & pork) and fajitas (shrimp, steak and chicken) with all the fix ins at 12:55 for 40 people.
