Our new counter tops are stunning and were handled with such care. Oliver and his team member were so incredibly detailed and offered the highest quality service. They used top of the line technology such as a suction tool at the seam which makes the countertop appear seamless. You really have to search to find it! The appropriate holes were drilled perfectly to accommodate our faucets. Rick, the templator, was also incredibly detailed and thorough at the time of templating. They use laser equipment to properly measure and template. Taylor, the account manager, was smart, detailed, responsive, and provided digital templates to choose from. The countertop design that we chose contains heavy veining, and we were happily surprised with the digital layouts they came up with. Overall, we could not have chosen a better company to work with. Note that we went through Andy with Builders Interiors who partners with Western Artisan. My husband and I cannot stop smiling as we are so in love with our countertops and so thankful that the process went as smooth as possible thanks to the team at Builders Interiors and Western Artisan!

If you want more detail, read on. I scheduled an appointment with this company three weeks before the install date. I provided in detail what I wanted for my home and my yard. I even texted and emailed pictures from the previous year. I informed it was a "straightforward job" and received a quote, via text. In the text, I was informed the yard lights would have to be assessed on the day of the install but would be anywhere from $75-$150 extra. Roger calls on the afternoon of the day of the install and tells me he needs to push it back to the next day due to being busy. Calling the afternoon of the day of the installation to cancel was unprofessional, yet I agreed to reschedule. The following day Roger calls after he has arrived at my home. He provided no notice he was on his way. I was not home but turned around and arrived home in less than ten minutes. Roger tells me he did not have any information on what the job was supposed to look like and never saw any pictures. This is silly as I texted it to the same phone number he had been calling and texting me from previously. I also emailed the pictures. If he didn't know what the job was supposed to look like it made no sense why his crew had already begun installing lights on my house, which I immediately informed him were the wrong color. I provided Roger with the SAME pictures I had already texted and emailed him. He stated he didn't have the multicolored lights I requested for a tree on the side of my home. Roger said, "I don't know, I could just wrap it in white lights or something." For this one skinny Juniper tree, which was approximately 12 feet high, he attempted to charge me $150 for ONE tree...with the WRONG lights. I was informed verbally and by text message (from his number) the lights in the yard would be $75-$150 total. Roger attempted to hustle me because his crew had already started the job. I instructed him to remove the lights and leave. In summary, Roger canceled on the afternoon of the install, arrived on the rescheduled date with no notice, started the job allegedly with no information and the wrong equipment, then tried to hustle me for more money on the spot. He didn't even take accountability for anything and tried to put it all on his employee, Angel. Don't bother with this guy.

So, that was a complication, but I could see into their lovely showroom through the windows and I could see they had the faucets I wanted. So, I called just to check and boy was I glad I did- their price for the faucets was almost $200 less (each) than at Aurora Plumbing! I had some email back and forth sorting out the finish details and Mike was super helpful and pleasant, despite some stress on my part. They look like they've got a lovely selection of interesting designers. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to browse the showroom.

That said, there were several problems afterwards: * items that were told had not yet been delivered were cancelled, and we confirmed this with staff. We were then told afterwards that we would need to pay a restocking fee in addition to shipping back to the distributor. I asked to know the amount to help decide whether I should try to sell privately, though our phone call was ignored and we were charged said fees. * we were told that we would be charged as items arrived over several weeks. Instead we got a single surprise $10K+ charge on the credit card, and most things still have not yet arrived. The staff still has not yet answered emails or returned calls with our questions about this transaction. * the amount that was charged to our credit card was several hundred dollars more than the receipt. We still do not understand why this happened and whether or not it will be corrected. I can't say that I wouldn't go back, but I would go in understanding I would need to manage them very closely. They were not customer focused, though did have better overall prices for items that we ordered.

Jarren was fantastic, set expectations right away and managed to do a great job on counter install within a week of my calling. What was not so great was the crew he sent out. They were difficult to deal with, insistent the job was impossible and tried to leave before eventually getting it done. When they had to come back after the seal around the sink failed, they kind of blamed us for the seal failing because we had used the sink within 72 hours of it being installed (they has told us 24 and we followed their instructions). Would definitely recommend based on experience with Jarren and overall results, but would mention that crew was pretty unpleasant.
