Just bought a used Honda car for my daughter and had a great experience. I usually buy online, but needed to trade in a vehicle. Tim Trawick, my salesman, was wonderful. No high pressure, and not the typical car salesman. I highly recommend him to folks that are looking for a nice and true gentleman. Good experience! Update to this business and salesman- Not sure, but it appears you only get the red carpet treatment when you are BUYING your new car. The car I purchased for my daughter was missing a passenger seat headrest. Over a month later, and we still do not have it. In fact, I have had to make EVERY call regarding any communication since buying the car, status of our license plates and the headrest. The "wonderful" gentlemen attitude is no longer either. Let me be clear. This five star review is specific to our Sales Consultant Jacob Stefano, and not the dealership. In fact, the dealership is no different than the other two Nissan dealerships we dealt with while shopping for a new Pathfinder. More to follow on that... I also want to establish the context of this purchase. My wife and I knew exactly what we wanted, what we were preapproved for based on our credit score(s) ($37K @ 1.65% for 72 months), and what we wanted to pay. Having dealt with two other dealerships we were only interested in the bottom line "out-the-door" number. In fact, we didn't even test drive the thing until we knew what that magic number was. Lastly, I have "some" experience in car sales, so I was more savvy about the games that are played during this process compared to the average buyer. We walked around the lot in search of the exact vehicle we wanted. Once we found it, I took note of the stock number specific to that car, went inside and asked for the newest sales person that was available. Out of a group of three gentlemen, Jacob stood up and we went about our business. Kudos to Jacob for tolerating my style of handling these situations, but he was very honest from the very beginning. And lets be honest about honesty in this business... There is not too much of it in any kind of commissioned sales position, especially car sales. I provide Jacob the stock number for the exact car I wanted, to which he took that information to his sales manager who is the puppet master that is responsible for any and all frustrated customers. The sales manager gave Jacob some B.S. print out, or the first "pencil", which included the horse-crapp Streater-Smith upcharge package of an additional $1,500 on top of the MSRP listed on the window for: Wheel locks, nitrogen inflated tires, and poly coat. Lets be real here. These are all dealership specific upcharges where they make up their margins. These things MAY have cost the dealer $200-$300 in material, time, labor, etc. Anyways, Jacob went back to his garage sales manager who provided another "pencil" that was getting closer but was no better than the other dealerships we had previously visited. At this point, I referenced Nissan's Military VPP program to which I was eligible for. Jacob presented this information to his sales manager, who incorrectly told him and me that using that specific discount would negate all other discounts. That idiot was WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG. The small print on the military VPP program clearly states that these discounts can be used with any other incentives. Finally I told Jacob that I wanted to be at $40K OTD (car + TTL). He had me initial the print out to show "commitment" and we got our magic number on a brand new white Nissan Pathfinder Platinum with pretty much every option except DVD head-rest (iPads are cheaper anyways). Needless to say, I was aggressive in my tone and choice of words but it was never person... just business. Jacob was super down to earth and with some information he shared, I could tell that he still had integrity. The reality is that there is not much commission in new cars anyways, as the money to be made by any sales person is in used cars. Jacob shared his sales philosophy with me, which include basing his income on repeat customers and referrals (volume) versus hitting a homerun one. I promised him that I would post something for the sake of us success in this industry. I have already referred a co-worker his direction and will continue to do so no matter the dealership because of the honesty and integrity he displayed to me. Even after the sale of the car, Jacob still took the time to make sure that a new sunroof was ordered because the one in the car we bought had some glue stains all over it in a couple of spots. He is readily accessible for any questions regarding the vehicle, and knew pretty much everything about the vehicle without having to reference any materials. We haven't had a vehicle as nice as this one, so there were plenty of features that needed to be explained to this fairly tech-savvy couple. Again, the dealership is just another dealership. You're going to have the back-and-forth of negotiations. Know what you want to pay and what vehicle you actually want. Also understand that rarely is it the salesman responsible for the numbers on the car. The sales manager is the person responsible, and often times make the sales person the bad-guy. I had a SUV picked out and financing lined up. Keating Nissan had the exact vehicle advertised online. After several emails, we settled on a drive out price. I had itemized each line from sticker price, discounts, trade in value, tt&l on down to drive out. I asked "do you agree to this number +/- $200-300"? Keating Nissan agreed and asked when they should have it ready. My wife and I took off work, drove an hour and ended up with a terrible salesman, who would not stand by the price and was going to handle the deal "his way". Total scam - Apex GPS. This allows the dealership to advertise lower prices, then add $2,000 at the end. Spent half the afternoon negotiating a used vehicle. Told them from the very first moment they mentioned Apex- told them "..I do not want it, I refuse to pay for it..". We reached a negotiated price, then in Financing, the $2,000 charge is added in again. If I had not been paying cash, and reviewed the contract in detail, they would have ripped me for an ADDITIONAL $2000. Apex is used by the dealership chain as an inventory management tool, then they get YOU to pay for it when you buy - even though you have no use for it. Claims it can't be removed. Run, don't walk, from this dealership. Classic bait and switch. - "..An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do. The Aggie Code of Honor is an effort to unify the aims of all Texas A&M men and women toward a high code of ethics and personal dignity...". Very strange and unethical sales/advertising practices. They post pictures of premium models cars and trucks representing base models. When I asked the sales associate why do they do that, he blaimed it on the company that takes pictures of their vehicles saying that they made a mistake. I am very disappointed with Keating Nissan. I called early this morning to make an appointment to get my oil change which is provided in the purchase of my truck. When I called the lady that answered the phone she mentioned I didn't need to make an appointment, I asked her if there was a long wait and she told me it is first come first serve but if I would come now it would be good. I drove there and the first question I was asked was did I have an appointment. When I told the service guy what the lady told me the young man at the counter told me he understood, but it would be a 3 hour wait. I expressed my aggravatioin because I tried to avoid that because I drove 20-25 min to get there and I had other things to do. I also mentioned that I was owed a car cleaning in and out because when I purchase my car because the sale took so long and it was late when it was completed the sales guy Chad Johnson assured me when I come back they would handle that because it was owed to me. Not only did he lie but he did not call me back or return my text. I spoke with Carrie Rodriquez asking for a loaner car so my car could wait until they can complete it she tried to say Chad Johnson would have to pay for the rental because it was a new vehicle, but he wasn't responsible for that part and she would not. If I could give zero stars I would. If you live in Houston and are lured by their lower prices please know that this is SCAM. The price advertised is FALSE and if you recall the old shady dealerships that are shown in movies and TV shows that fool people through shady practices, these are those guys. I was interested in a 2019 Maxima SL. The price advertised was $29K. My point of contact was Cheyenne. I spoke to her several times and I specifically asked her about the 0% APR which she said was available on all Maximas. Before going to the dealership on a Saturday morning, I called /texted her and we confirmed our appointment for 11:30 am. When I went to the dealership and asked for her, the lady just sat on her chair like Queen B and won't recognize me. Another sales agent Chris, god bless him, went up to her to tell her that I was here but she won't even turn her head. I would have understood if I had just gone there unannounced but I called her advance and agreed on a time. This was just ridiculous and rude. I saw and liked the car and then came inside to talk about the numbers. The request was simple, give me the price advertised and the 0% APR promotion. But suddenly the conversation went into why do you need the 0%, if you take the 0% then you would forego all of the incentives. This drama literally continued for 20 where the sales agent would go to the manager's office and then come back with some ridiculous numbers. Finally, Gabriel, the manager, showed up and told me that he couldn't do the 0% since it wasn't available with Nissan or in other words we just lied to you so you could come to our dealership. I said no to his offer and started walking out but his reaction was even more priceless. He stood up, stomped his feet and told the sales agent to not deal with me anymore. No courteous thank yous, nothing. It was as if we broke up a marital relationship. Please take my word and STAY AWAY FROM THESE DRAMA QUEENS. read more

Was very dissatisfied with the service here. I arrived here early in the morning for a vehicle and they spent the entire day giving me the run-around. For starters, they told me my trade-in "horn" did not work and gave an extremely low figure on it since it would need to be "replaced"(horn worked fine) even though later they told me it would just be sent to the auction (which i later saw on their site for a huge markup. They said they would match any competitor offer (which they did not). They would only "honor" the price listed on their website if you do In-house financing (at an extremely high APR, regardless of credit score) otherwise they jacked the price up. The entire time was "let me see what I can do with my manager" and basically trying to jew me out of every single dollar they could. When I pointed out safety issues with the vehicle for sale they basically said "sorry, it's sold as is" and refused to fix them (but you were going to fix the trade-in horn?). Would not work with you and basically their whole tactic is to wear you down because they got nothing better to do that day. I purchased the vehicle only because I drove over 200 miles for this particular one and did not want to leave empty-handed. They tried to sneak in this "Apex GPS" package for over $2900. Yes, $2900. They said it is not an option to remove...really?!! We were in the finance office ready to sign papers, and discovered it!!! Went to see about a new car based on price online, only to find out the dealership had added $3,000 in features I couldn't get rid of. (Including a scotch guard on seats and GPS tracking of car used on the lot.) The young dealer was helpful and friendly, but I did not feel comfortable about the whole deal because he never would say what the sticker price was, never would say the interest rate once we'd gone into financing. Here's how my day went so I hope I save some people from wasting their time at this dealership like I did. I was in the market for a new Nissan Titan. So as I was browsing the web looking for trucks and dealerships Keating Nissan popped up. At first I was like wow they have great discounts on Titans and believe me their web prices were better then what I had seen from other dealerships based off online pricing only. What I was really interested in was pricing and the 84 month 0% financing from Nissan. So as I was on their website I didn't see the color of truck I was interested so then I thought well maybe they can tell me if they have some in transit and possibly make a deal on one of those. I fill out the form online to get more information and have someone call me or txt me. I get a txt the next day from someone by the name of Jennifer she tells that they are one of the highest volume dealers and that they can get almost any color combination I want since they are a preferred Nissan dealer volume wise. Then she says but you have to come in so we can find something for me. I proceed to also mention to her that I like the discounts that I see online and that I am interested in Nissans 0% financing so then I ask are these discounts in conjunction with the financing promotion which she said yes they are. She then says you would have to be here so we can find something for you in terms of color and options. I then tell her that I live more then an hour away and that I would prefer that she locate something for me before I even begin to wast my time as I don't want to drive for nothing. She then proceeds to tell me that this won't be a problem and even guarantees they will find something for me as once again they pride themselves in being the highest Titan volume dealer and that I can speak to her manager Michael when I show up. I give in and say ok I'll stop by....... big mistake!!!!! I show up and ask for the manager which then I get passed on to some salesman..... ok no big deal. I tell him that I spoke to Jennifer earlier and that they can locate a color of Titan that I want no problem. He then says ok do you have a trade I say yes he takes it to go get appraised and meanwhile he takes my info again and say let me go speak to my manager on the colors you want. He comes back and says they do not have anything in those colors and they can not locate anything for me nor have anything in transit in those colors. ( I gave 3 color options gray, white and blue). I say what do you mean you don't and can't get anything for me. That's not what Jennifer said before she made me come down here saying that you can. I said here are the txt messages we exchanged in which I showed him so he didn't think I was lying. He then says he can get me a deal on a truck they have on the lot..... I then say look " you all lied to me already and wasted my time coming down here. The only way I buy a truck off your lot is if you really wow me with the price because that was not my color choice". He then say let me go talk to my manager I tell him before you go Jennifer also told me the discounts online were also in conjunction with the financing that Nissan has. So he say ok I'll mention that to my manager. When the sales man come back he says I know you want the 0% financing but with the discounts online we do not offer this. I said well then you all lied about that too. I showed him the txt where Jennifer said that it was all included and he apologized again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID!!!! Lies lies lies that's all you get here. Next day I went to Gilman Nissan where I bought a Titan for a way better deal and even got more for my trade then the low ball offer that the supposedly "large volume dealer" got me. BE CAREFUL!!!! My mom just moved here and needed a car and because she was impatient, didn't wait for me to go with her. She spends the whole afternoon here and test drives the fully loaded Sentra and decided she wanted it. Long story short they "take the car to clean it up" and give her the paperwork for the lower model. She signs it and they proceed to make her wait for 3 hours(until it got dark) until they finally pulled around a different car than she test drove. She didn't notice until she started driving and when she went back and they denied it/ told her it was too late. PATHETIC! Will update with salesmans name! read more

This company is fraud. Someone named Sara Reynolds called my son in regard to Nissan Kick S and ultimately, we agreed on the price. My son, even asked her four times about surprises and additional costs. She promised that there would not be additional surprises and the only extra would be tax, title and dealer fee. We drove 60 miles to go to Keating Nissan to make our appointment with her. When we get there, she is not available and another sales person came to help and he started from scratch and the price, he offered, was $3000 above the agreed price. When I told him about the agreed price and asked to talk to Sara, the sales man got upset and Called the manager. It ends up that it was bait & switch. Sara never came to help us and ultimately, we left. Not only she ruined our day, the manager was insulting to us. Two days later, I called and asked to speak to Sara Reynolds and I wanted to understand why she gave the wrong information and why she used bait and switch. It ends up that her name is Sara Keating and she uses this tactic on all customers. She was rude on the phone. Please go to any other Nissan but this one. Keating Nissan and Clear Lake Nissan are owned by the same people and they use the same tactic. If there is a word for call salesman, this company is the ultimate. They are absolutely fraud. I wished there was a way for these people to be investigated. If there was less than one start, this company deserve it. read more

Bought a used truck with trade in , now (3) weeks later they say my financing fell thru and I have to sign a new contract even though they have paid off the balance on my old vehicle. That I can either pay back in full money for my old truck with upgrades and TT&L or sign new contract. I'm sure this is a scam!
