Such an awesome spot to stop by for lunch. They're located right in Montrose where there are plenty of other businesses and things to do. Awesome spot! Came in for lunch after a nice morning adventure at the Descanso Gardens. Kebab Daddy is located in a mini-mall that is about a 5 min drive from the gardens - there's tons of street parking available if you couldn't find parking in the mini-mall's lot. The portion sizes were very generous - we got a plate of lamb chops, beef lule, and beef kabob. All plates come with rice, salad, a side (we choose fries, hummus, and tater tots), and some bread. If you are going bowl, be sure to add some hummus for an extra 50 cents. Everything was made to order and reasonably priced. Downtown Montrose is close by if you need to walk off the meal. It's three pm so it's time for a late lunch. I ordered the paleo plate. It is two meats and veggies. I asked for chicken and beef. The chicken is very succulent and the beef is wow. The plastic knife cut through the pieces which was pretty big. The serving was very generous. I got eight big pieces of tenderloin and eight big pieces if chicken. Next time I will order just a beef plate. The veggies could have been cooked a little longer. There was a grilled jalapeño pepper, eggplant and zucchini. Also available was siracha sauce. Unfortunately for me, this mix had eggplant which I am allergic to (even though I love it.) I would have to agree that the chicken shish which I tried before has too much salt. I would definitely "tone it down" in the kitchen as I wouldn't order it again. The service is great. I plan on going back to try their breakfast wrap. I would love to see a filet mignon kebab appear on the menu. The sides are all good---the garlic lebni isn't the bees knees. It doesn't taste like garlic to me. Having said that--there is nothing wrong with the food or service here. I went with the paleo plate, to keep the carb count down, after all the Christmas feasting that's been going on. Well... I must say these folks really went all out in their construction and marketing efforts. It seems like yesterday that I saw their construction. I was very impressed to see they actually went for the high tech soda machine. Their bowls are a good value, and their breakfast burritos are surprisingly tasty. I don't know how replicable this model is, but being next door to Coffee Bean definitely does not hurt their business. I do question their staff scheduling, which seems to be a little bit overkill. If I were to bet, I'd say their HR expenses seem pretty high, considering how many workers I saw at 5-6PM. Also, I wonder if their online ordering system is really necessary, considering they are located in a suburban area.
