    Beef Shawarma Fries
    Kat C.

Overall it wasn't bad here, I just think the fries were a miss. The portions are huge though, definitely had enough for multiple meals. It wasn't quite as good as I expected from the reviews, but it's decent for the amount of food you get and that rice! Premium Mixed Grill Plate -- 3/5 I liked the chicken the best out of the three. The beef kebab just tasted like regular ground beef to me and the lamb was overdone, which was a bummer. But the rice? Amazing. It was so fluffy and flowery. I would come back just for that rice. Shawarma Loaded Fries -- 2/5 I probably should have skipped these and just gotten another plate. It was kind of a sticky mess and the combo just didn't really work. You get a great portion of beef shawarma, but the raw onion, shredded cheese, and pickle slices felt like a really unusual combination. I usually love pickles in my Mediterranean food, but this just wasn't it for me.

Welcoming inviting staff. Great atmosphere and clean restaurant and AMAZING FOOD!! Visiting Wolfs Lodge, is next door just a min walk away making it very convenient. Nice to see them cooking the food outside knowing what that you're getting fresh grilled food. Food is not mass delivered tasting like a lot of restaurants. Great servings for family. Def will visit every time I'm in the area. Highly recommended

This is our go-to spot for Mediterranean. The menu is pretty standard: gyro, kofta, falafel, etc. BUT the flavor is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Even my kids love everything from the beef kebabs to the kofta. Lately, I've been getting the shawarma wrap. It's a good deal and nice sized meal. Also, hands down the best hummus ever. My kids devour it. They've done some keep with the decor and renovations. It's a nice spot for a quick dinner. Even sitting outdoors is not bad because it's walled off from the street. The service is standard. They're friendly but also to the point and get orders out.

Honestly this is my new favorite Mediterranean spot! I ordered the chicken kabob plate to share with my partner. It was more than enough food for us to enjoy a lighter lunch. Be hungry if you're ordering two plates! I think the establishment prefers that you order on the screen so that they can focus on getting out the orders fast. The food tasted great. I really loved that the salad wasn't plain. It had a great flavor, as did the chicken, rice and hummus. Staff is super friendly. They knew we were sharing and offered us 2 sauces. There is plenty of seating indoors and the outdoor area has a nice patio. The tables were all kept really clean. Overall, it's a really great place, and we will definitely be coming back to try some of their other stuff.

Shawarma house. I loved it. Got two wraps. 1 chicken and 1 beef. 11 dollars each. Filled with a lot of protein. Lots of pickles. Toasted. With the sauce. So good. Not greasy. Very flavorful. 3 extra bucks got me some fries. I'll be back to try the combos. And sides

Discovered Shawarma House while staying at the Great Wolf Lodge, and with Yelps high reviews, we had to stop by. There is a standing tablet by the door to place your order, but you can also place your order by the register, especially if there is no line. Beware of using the Kiosk, I noticed on my receipt that there is a Kiosk charge (first time I have heard of this)! Ordered the Beef Shawarma Plate, Cheese Sambousek, Baklava for dine in; and a Large Rice to go. For what we ordered, it was plenty, servings for 2 people. The plate included, salad, pita bread and hummus along with beef shawarma shavings and yellow rice. Food was good, prices are reasonable. There was a constant flow of customer, validating how good their food is! Unlike other Shawarma/Mediterranean Restaurants I have been too, they do not provide complementary Tea. Establishment was clean, friendly staff, lots of parking. Stop by if ever you are staying at the Great Wolf Lodge, just don't use the Kiosk if it is not busy.

We had Jerusalem Roastery in mind for dessert and this place is the ultimate partner for the entree, three doors down. Bit dark inside but still, clean enough and plenty of seats available. Our falafel and chicken wraps were nice and well packed in, meaning very little chance to spill the contents over your outfit. Fries that accompanied the order, were crispy on the outside but a but mush on the inside. Good flavors though. Yoghurt and pepper sauces were on point and the yoghurt was actually thick and flavorful. Our sodas were definitely middle-eastern but matched the food well. Service was on point as well, no complaint on that point. Price wise, in there with everybody else which makes a regular visit prohibitive but from time to time a nice reason to eat out.

Shawarma House is our go-to lunch spot at work and it never disappoints. My coworkers and I order the family deals all the time, and it's honestly the best way to feed a group -- tons of food, great variety, and everything is always fresh and flavorful. The main dishes are solid, but the real stars for me are the sides. Their garlic sauce is SO good -- creamy, bold, and basically addictive. I could put it on everything. And the babaganoush is amazing too, super smoky and smooth with that perfect homemade taste. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and it's always a crowd-pleaser when we order. If you're feeding a group or just craving really good Mediterranean food, this place is a must.

Past by this place and decided to try it. Staff move pretty fast making it a great place when you just want to grab a quick bite to eat. Chicken shawarma - they toast the wrap so it's crispy on the outside and on the smaller side. Think burrito that comes with side of chili and yogurt tzatziki like sauce. Chicken kabob - tender chicken with a side of salad, humus and rice. Really good chicken! Both items were good! Parking was not a problem. We did have to wait a while for our food (5-10 minutes).

We went on a whim after hearing some hype about it with some friends and it actually lived up to the buzz. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the beef shawarma wrap, had them both cut in half so we could try, plus an order of fries to share. The fries were good. It was seasoned with some kind of spice that gives it a nice kick without being overpowering. Both wraps were tasty. Both meats were juicy and flavorful. What stood out most was that the shawarma's weren't greasy, which I enjoy. It's a casual kind of place. It's definitely family friendly. I noticed they also have family meal options, which makes it an easy spot if you're coming with a group and want something everyone can eat and share. Another plus is they stay open late, so it works whether you're grabbing a late dinner or just a snack run.

Shawarma House provided catering for our office dinner/evening meeting - the food is phenomenal! I've actually never heard of them prior to the catering - was surprised they weren't too far of a drive from work, so will probably find myself checking them out in the near future. Our delivery driver got lost - understandable when delivering to a hospital campus - but everything was so well packaged, that the food was fresh and hot even after the initial mishap. We placed three orders of the #5 family meal - 15 Skewers Mixed Grill Kabob - (5 chicken kabob / 5 beef kabob / 5 kofta kabob) - which also came with trays of hummus, baba ganoush, salad, rice, pita bread, tahini, garlic, and spicy sauce. They were nice enough to serve everything in well packaged containers, proteins off the kabob skewer. Total including delivery fee, tax, and driver tip was $485. The beef kofta was great - perfectly portioned, juicy and full of flavor. The chicken pieces were boneless, tender, juicy, and also delicious. Hands down - my favorite bites were the beef/filet mignon cubes. They were grilled just right - I think Medium/Medium-Well - perfect flavoring, tender bite, well seasoned. The rice, salad, hummus, and other garnishments were great and complemented the meal quite well. The portions were huge - even after a second helping, by the end of the meeting, there were plenty of leftovers which I happily helped myself to.

Beef wrap was really good. Not dry at all. Fries were over cooked and hard. Chicken shawarma wrap was a little on the dryer side but still had good flavor. Service was fast. Waited about 10 min for food.

    Premium Mix Grill Plate
    Diego T.

I've ordered both through DoorDash and eaten there in person, so I can confirm that these people have mastered the art of delivery. My food always arrives in perfect condition, which is rare these days (looking at you, mystery-soggy-bag places). The Premium Mix Grill is my personal heavyweight champion. The chicken? Smoky perfection. The lamb and beef? Tender flavor explosions. The rice is so good and crazy seasoned thay just screams perfection That plate is massive..like "two-day meal prep" big... unless I'm in my "gains" era, then it's a one-day celebration of pure protein and joy. Dining in? It's always buzzing and for good reason. Total vibe. They didn't skimp when I asked for hot sauce either (bonus points for generosity). Could it be spicier? Sure. But the tahini and cucumber yogurt sauce cools everything down just right like the chill friend who keeps you balanced after a wild night out Pro tip: grab an extra pack of pita bread. It's soft, warm, and dangerously easy to demolish in one sitting.

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.

Open on holidays like July 4th, like a true Asian restaurant! Got the: 1. Cajun green beans ($14): 9/10, the lemon pepper butter sauce was scrumptious, I even wanted to add rice to it. -1 for green beans that are on the old side and the ends weren't chopped off. The corn nuts on top are meant to give a nice crunch, and while they tried to crush it, it's still too hard for my liking, so we mixed it with the sauce so it could soften up. 2. Seafood soup ($26): 7/10 and not worth the $26, as the swai fish is very little, you get only approx 4 shrimps, and the owner couldn't allow subbing calamari for more shrimp as he explained that the seafood is all pre-portioned out. The soup is very sour like Tom yum but it had too much lemongrass and was too sour for my liking. It came with 3 pieces of cucumber that could rival Ding Tai Fung and spicy sauce that seemed like their rendition of Lao gan ma. The price would've made me -1 but they get a +1 for the cucumber and Lao gan ma type spicy sauce, otherwise it would've been a 6/10 for me. 3. Mushroom & Beef Stir Fry ($23): 9/10, the beef reminds me of shaken beef and the sauce is very flavorful of beef. Love that the rice is delicious chicken rice, it's so addictive! If the mushroom was more umami it would take this up to a 10. 4. Garlic Noodles with Prawn ($22): 10/10, my second favorite on the menu (my fav is still the discontinued mushroom soup) and out of all the garlic noodles I've had, this is the best one. It's garlicky, the noodles are perfect texture, and the shrimp are large and crisp. I've been ordering garlic noodles at every Viet restaurant I've been to and haven't met a better executed one 5. For dessert, pistachio mouse cake ($12): 10/10, never knew pistachio and berries are a good combo but it was so mind blowing! The pistachios had the perfect crunch, and the wild berry sauce helped cut the richness of the cake. I only wish there was 2-3 more pieces of strawberry as it is the perfect accompaniment to cut the richness of the mouse cake. TLDR: summer menu is worth a go (minus the seafood soup) and please bring back the mushroom soup!!
