Small place, feels fairly cozy. We ordered ramen and gyozas, paid $40 plus tip for it. Ramen was clearly instant ramen and veggies were clearly frozen. Gyozas also very obviously frozen. Google maps will take you a fee hundred feet after its actual location but the Waze App will put you in the right location. Small cute, awesome for to go orders. This was a very casual spot that serves teriyaki bowls and sushi rolls. I appreciated how quick the food came out. I had a chicken katsu plate and the Patrick bowl spicy as well as the French kiss roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese roll that is fried). This Kee's Teriyaki used to be my preference as far as the Kee's Teriyaki chain goes and had Ms. Kee (I've spoken to the owner multiple times and I have yet to confirm that her last name is in fact Kee, but for the sake of this review that's what I'm going to call her) been there on my last few visits I may have felt differently. I've been going to this KT since high school when I was still finding my inner foodie (meaning I usually just ordered a California Roll). It wasn't until my former debate coach ordered about 5 different rolls and made me try them all that I finally went outside my comfort zone when it came to sushi - well I guess food in general. So for that I'm ever in his debt. KT (and Barnes) opened my eyes to the wonderful world of eel. Eel rolls, grilled eel, eel sauce...just anything eel related. Hence my love for Caterpillar Rolls. The last time I was here I ordered the Caterpillar Roll of course. And because I also have a strange infatuation with raw tuna, I also ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll. Both were fine (too damn big, might I add, but fine), but just missing that extra oomph. It was just simply sushi. Another thing that over the years has drawn me to KT is how personable and lovable Ms. Kee is. Her upbeat attitude always rubs off on her staff, but the last couple of times I went a couple of the staff members have been a bit snippy. Recently I've ran into Ms. Kee at the eastside location more often so I'm guessing she's putting a lot more work into that one for whatever reason. I'll give this location another shot, but I may just stick with the eastside. read more

We started with the crab Rangoons which were jampacked with a crab meat mix Yummy We also got the shrimp tempura which was battered in-house fresh extra crunchy and extra crispy Next we shared a Patrick bowl special was nothing like I've ever had before it was A bowl of rice, with spicy spicy chicken, then topped Cold shredded crab It was fun taste explosion in my mouth hot and spicy then cold with crab. Decent sushi i would say. Im not a fan of this sweet sauce they topped their caterpillar roll with though. Typically it comes with eel sauce and the description on their menu didnt indicate otherwise. The salmon nigiri tasted oddly off. Like it had some type of cleaning agent on it or something chemical tasting on it. And the amount you get for 2.50, not a whole lot of salmon. I also tried their edamame which was good and served warm. Kind of hard to mess that up though. I think this place may be better for other options like their ramen noodles or bento teriyaki boxes. Very much a cute hole In the wall! I moved to El Paso from socal and was craving chicken teriyaki but was struggling to find a place. I came across Kee's teriyaki randomly one day and now this place is definitely my go to ever since I moved here two years ago! The owner has been here for 16 years so they are doing something right! Came in today on 12/23/2022 and the owner was just a sweetheart! She gave us some Korean dumplings she made on the house... let me say they were just delicious! Definitely a 10/10 in my books the food is good and the experience is what also makes coming here worth it! Also the staff are so sweet and will take care of you! read more

Another northeast gem! I got the crab ragoons and gyozas as an appetizer, both were crunchy and packed full! The rolls we got were nice and fat and honestly that's every time. I see that there aren't that many sushi places in El Paso and maybe that's why the reviews for this place are so high. However, me being a Floridian I might just be a sushi snob. Don't get me wrong, the sushi is decent but the portions are way overpriced for what you receive and the quality to me just isn't there. I had the dragon roll and it wasn't bad but to pay $17 only to receive only 8 pieces of sushi was a complete let down. To add, they used the microwave for a portion of my meal ( I am not sure which part, but I heard it go off twice before my chicken teriyaki meal (which the chicken came from a warmer) came out. It's not bad but it isn't the best. Server was extremely nice but just being honest here guys. The only reason I am giving it a 3 is because they were exceptionally nice people. Lol read more

The food was scrumptious! The place is in a convenient location near Pappa John's Pizza and a gas station. It looks like not much from the outside but the food is great! We ordered several items for a luncheon at work so I was able to sample a few menu items. The egg rolls are big and tasty, the teriyaki bowls come withal choice of pork, beef or chicken, and hot or mild. The rice choice is brown or white and you get a tiny salad in the to go box. The accompanying dipping sauce has its own unique taste- sort of a soy sauce with something to make it thicker and slightly sweet- delicious! I had the beef and my co workers had the chicken- all were good. Another person had the ramen noodle soup. The soup and the noodles were packaged separately, and this prevented the noodles from soaking up all the soup- pretty good idea. Someone else had sushi- California rolls and spicy tuna rolls and they were also good. The price was a little higher than expected, but there were no complaints on the food at all. The spicy ramen was good, add some beef and chicken, even better, but, for the price I'm not impressed. Double the meat portion size and I'd be happy with it. Very good. The salmon and tuna sashimi, for the price and portion size, again not impressed, but it was very good. Couldn't tell if the wasabi was from a paste or homemade, so that says a lot. All in all the taste was great but the portion sizes were were small, maybe if they upped the vegetables in the ramen and maybe some bottomless rice that would help. We were in the mood to try something different but close to our house so we stopped in. Don't let the location fool you - this is a serious restaurant! We ordered gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and the Fiesta roll, and everything came out fresh, hot where applicable, and very tasty. The fried rice was light and delicious, and the teriyaki was done perfectly. Overall, everything we tasted was fantastic and the service was quite fast for 3 in the afternoon. I had the bento box which has 4 pieces of California roll, rice was not seasoned at all and the roll didn't properly close it was so large. Overall the roll was pretty bland. Gyoza was good, again not great. Salad, typical wet lettuce but their dressing? Amazing! Beef and chicken teriyaki was really good, could tell the beef was pre-cooked however. I've been looking for a place in El Paso that fit the following criteria: light, healthy and relatively cheap. I think my search is finally over. This place is a stone's throw away from West Fort Bliss and the food is reasonably good. I tried a half order (5 pieces) of the salmon rolls and the spicy ramen. The salmon rolls weren't exactly the best, but it's far far from the worst. Let's just say that I could probably eat it once a day and not get tired of it. Although, I'm not really that picky of an eater... The spicy ramen was filling and pretty tasty. Overall this place has really nice healthy choices at a decent price and tastes pretty good.
