They never, ever disappoint. And the salads have always been fresh, crispy lettuce and plenty for two days of eating.

I am so disappointed in the service that I received here. I wish things were different but unfortunately, not.

Since I see this restaurant has turned off Google Reviews, I will post my experience here. Me and my coworkers ordered lunch from here. On the website, it says there is a discount for paying cash for delivery. We all paid for our food separately in a pool and added $2 to $3 extra for a tip. With the discount, that would have totaled out to a $15 or $20 tip. The manager, a completely ignorant and backwards individual, CALLED OUR WORKPLACE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE TIP WE GAVE THE DELIVERY DRIVER! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT?! We were confused and appalled at this and tried to explain to this doofus that we accounted for the discount THE WEBSITE SAID IT WOULD GIVE FOR PAYING IN CASH! The Food was GREAT. I had a Cuban wrapped in Romaine Lettuce and some gumbo on the side. First, I want to say that the wrap was great. If you want something healthy, this is the place for you. So my mother has been dying for a salad from this place.. So after Bible Class her friend took her. Now my mother has End Stage Renal Disease and does not eat pork. She told the person no pork and was asked what did she want in place of the ham. She told them extra turkey..She gets back to Byram and has no Turkey but piless of ham and very little roast beef. Now I don't frequent this establishment but have heard stories of how rude they are and told her not to waste her energy calling in a complaint, but she did anyway. A "man" answers the phone and drills her about what is on the receipt..in the background I say why does it matter, you know what you ordered and left the room.. I then hear her saying something about being rude. His response to my mother in regards to MY comment was "tell that moron we need the receipt". I use to enjoy Room Service's chicken pasta salad and that was the only item I ordered from the menu. Unfortunately, i will no longer be ordering with them. The last few times I've ordered this salad, they'd pile on the pasta but included very very little chicken to the point I had to search to find any. One time I can understand. But, this has become the norm. I've brought that to their attention because I believe in submitting my complaints to the owners or their representatives before posting a less than favorable review on any website. I absolutely LOVE this place. I get it for office meetings often. The menu is huge (though the one posted here on Yelp is definitely wrong) and there are so many delicious, fresh sandwiches and salads to choose from. They deliver and are always very timely. My favorite salad is the Pam's with added avocado and balsamic. The brownies and sweet tea are tasty as well. The portions are huge! I never eat dinner after I've had a lunch meal here. We, my co-workers and I, have ordered from Room Service numerous times. Honestly, I don't know why! Every time we order it's late arriving and it's usually wrong. Yesterday was the last straw, for me anyway. I sent the order in via email so the orders were there for them in black and white. And still, some of the orders were wrong. I requested a time for the order to be delivered, it was delivered an hour later. They had my email address and phone number, it would have been nice to let me know there would be a delay. read more

Room Service never fails to hit the spot for lunch. It's like they put magic in their simple sandwiches. I had the turkey bacon on white with tomatoes, lettuce and mayo. Simple right? But I tell you it's one of the best sandwiches I ever had and I can't recreate it at home! FYI their salads are delicious as well! No frills call in soup sandwich joint with ample toppings and fresh ingredients. Much like a 5 star subways but at least here none of the food tastes the same. Big parking lot with just a few tables to sit down at. This is more a oder and pick up place. PLEASE DON'T show up and expect to order and eat in an hour. Best Tip: call your order in and find a nice quiet place to enjoy your sandwich soup and/or salad. I didn't get any of the "Soup Nazi" vibe from this place, but it was packed and they keep it moving. If you are slow on putting your credit card and receipt in your purse, they will start taking the next order over your shoulder. But we are all on schedules so don't make we weight for this awesome goodness because your OCD requires you to put your lunch receipt in your purse third pocket?!? The food here is decent but I am giving them a 1 star rating because of their view on customer service. The restaurant owner frames written customer complaints and decorates their seating area, the "walls of no shame", with them. Customers' valid concerns are mocked and their private information (email addresses, phone numbers, names, and addresses) put on display. It's very tacky and childish. There is even a framed article (yes, he actually paid to have it framed) from the 1990s clarion ledger in which the owner takes pride in telling someone to "go to subway". I have been going back and forth on my review for Room Service. I believe everyone who has ordered here has a 'story.' The 'sammiches' are AMAZING. The salads are just excellent! This is the place that made me really appreciate a great salad and how it should be prepared and presented. But, I have also encountered a few issues with their customer service. I have not had a major issue that has made me reject the place personally. But, I have personally witnessed several questionable encounters between employees and customers. I love Room Service, but SERVICE is not something they are good at. My order has rarely been correct. Today, I ordered a chicken salad stuffed avacado. I got lettuce, cheese, fruit (that I didn't order) chicken noodle soup (that I didn't order) and NO CHICKEN SALAD STUFFED AVACADO and that is the NAME OF THE MENU ITEM. The employee even repeated my entire order to me correctly. How do you screw up orders so terribly. If I could give them negative stars I would! I have loved room Service for years, but the way I was treated today, there is no excuse for that. I tried to order a salad for delivery at the Jackson location. I spoke with an older man who was very rude. I was told my food would be delivered by 12. I called back at 12:45 and was told, "...you have never called us to thank us when your food arrives early so you don't have the right to call us when it is late." I then told him I have never had them deliver to me. his response was "... it will get there when it gets there" then he hung up in my face. I then called the Ridgeland location and was put on hold and hung up on several times. I was told I would be speaking to a manager but then the manager was busy. They never once got my number to call me back but continued to put me on hold and hang up on me. I just have to wonder if they are in the business of taking care of their customers and making money or just being ASSES! When it comes to good salad this is the place to try. The quality and appearance is nice. Yet in the crowds of orders I was missing some ingredients that were supposed to be included. Unfortunately, the waiting and the service at the restaurant is were they dropped the ball. If you choose this place it's best to order early in the morning. If you call over the phone you will be place on hold indefinitely. I was forgotten about after waiting almost an hour for a simple salad.
