I can strongly recommend Keith. Our AC stopped operating last night, and I called him early this afternoon. His office staff took my information and then transferred me to Keith who was able to listen to my problem and then arrange to come later in the afternoon. He installed a fabulous mini-split system for our wine cellar that holds the temperature at 60 degrees and cut our electric bill by almost $100 a month. I have not had any work done by this company but this was my experience. I am Licensed GC for 20+ years and 2 days ago my condenser and furnace finally stopped. I am strapped for money, so I found a deal on CL for the 2 units I need and was looking for an installer. In my experience, I know that it will take about 4 to 8 hours max to swap the 2 units out. Plumbing and electrical are all in place, and this is a simple removal, reclaim, I stall and charge with the old refrigerant. I spoke to Keith on the phone and he seemed rather conceited, and sarcastic as I was very polite, and he gave me a ballpark quote of about two thousand dollars for this quick easy install. I would not recommend calling this guy as he is WAY overpriced, and in my opinion, having worked with so many different tradesman.. I would have regretted using him. My friend of 30 years is a master AC expert installer with his own very successful company and I would have him do it but he lives too far and I dont wanna inconvenience him. He told me that this job will cost around 500 to 600 dollars max, so clearly this Keith guy is just trying to take full advantage of people who are suffering through this heat wave. Caution please. 2 stars because I haven't seen his work, but no matter who you are, fair market value is fair market value. Don't get screwed because you are hot!! read more

My air conditioner broke last year and I knew I needed to fix it before the next heat wave hit or I was going to seriously regret it. I finally went on the internet and began calling different companies who said they serviced my area. It was late in the afternoon so I planned to schedule an appointment for the following week. Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck at first. I called one company advertising they serviced Simi Valley. The number also happened to be the personal number of someone who lived in Downey and worked or owned the company. He suggested I find someone closer to my area to do the job. (Duh! How about you change your ad to reflect the accurate areas you cover?) Another company I called seemed really irritated when I called. The man I spoke to obviously did not want the job. He said they were too busy to get to it right away but he would call back later to schedule...I'm still waiting. The next company I called was Keith's Heating and Air. What a pleasant surprise! The woman who answered the phone could not have been nicer. She was professional and assured me someone would call me right back. Not only did they call me right back but they said they would come out that same afternoon and repair it! They showed up within an hour and were able to fix my air conditioner without any problem. They also spent a lot of time checking other things, answering some of my additional questions, and providing me with an education on how to care for my equipment. This was late in the day too which makes their extra attention and assistance all the more impressive. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Keith's Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who needs their service. What can I say! This is the best service I received when my ac just stop. I call a number of companies and was told to call back is a few days they were booked. There is a $125.00 service fee and they will be able to come out at 9:00 pm. I called Keith's AC Repair and Service the customer service rep was very nice did not put me on hold got me right to the tech who would be coming out. Excellent customer and repair service! Keith arrived on a Saturday afternoon during a horrible storm within 30 minutes of my initial call. He updated his ETA en route to my residence and was very friendly and professional upon arrival. My a/c blower kicked on but the condenser did not. I called another a/c service and they said they could fit me in on Monday after 2pm. Unacceptable since it was Thursday and the temps were forecast to be over 100 for the weekend. I saw the Yelp reviews for Keith and called. Keith was at my house within an hour and diagnosed (to my embarrassment) that it was a blown fuse. Since he had the needed fuses available, and informed me that the fuses I had were rated lower than was needed for my system (thank you John Laing Homes), he fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes - and left me with an extra fuse. The fact that he did all of that for less than $100 including the service call was quite impressive. I will be calling Keith for any future issues I may have, and truly appreciate keeping it local. Gave us an accurate estimate, then the Dynamic Duo, Dave and Dan, took charge, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. These guys go the extra mile to keep the customer satisfied. Reeeeemix (update). I could give this dude more stars if I can. Anyway, I totally forgot about the previous review I did until Keith came by the other day. Let me preface, the first review back in 2014 was for a failed capacitor. Fast forward to last Sunday our AC went out. I noticed the fan from the outside unit was not working but the compressor was. I didn't want to have someone come during the weekend since these services are general triple the price for someone to come out and even look at it. So I take the day off on Monday and called a handful of HVAC companies and about three of them called back through out the day. First company, I'll call them "No Energy" called back and said they would be here by 9. 9 rolls around not here yet so we call back. They now said by 1030. We wait nothing by 1030. We call back and then they say 230 for sure. 230 comes up and no show. The guy eventually comes about 240. By this time, Keith had just called us and we advised him, that someone just arrived. He replied with, "okay, no problem. but if something doesn't seem right, give me a call.." The guy from No Energy inspects the outside unit, takes out the panel and took less than five minutes to tell me the motor is done and I need an entire new unit. He insisted it would cost more to repair and would be more efficient if we replaced the entire unit. So the last 60 minutes was spent him giving us a sales pitch on replacing our furnace and ac for a measly $7000.00--WTF? That's the low end unit by the way, as he proceeded to give us other options ranging from 10-15k. So I thanked him and told him I'll be in touch. I rushed to the phone to get Keith back on the line since it was close to almost 5. He said he will be within the hour. When he got here he essentially inspected the unit. We told him what the other guy said and he just shook his head in dismay. He replaced the motor and put in new capacitors within 20 minutes. The AC works like a charm and saved me a TON of money. He even gave me some helpful tips on how to make sure the unit continues running smoothly. I had a huge Jasmine bush around the unit, he told me to clear it out since the unit requires the circulation. Keith and Dave are top notch dudes--I'm no longer going to try and find anyone else when it comes to HVAC stuff. I have them on my contacts from now on. read more

We had a problem with our air conditioning unit on Saturday. We called Keith Heating and Air Conditioning and left a message. They called back on Monday and had someone at the house by Monday afternoon. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave several options for repair. The entire system, with parts both inside and out had to be replaced. The parts were delivered Tuesday morning, and Tyler with Keith heating and air conditioning. was here Tuesday afternoon to start taking out the old system.
