I waited until around noon on Monday to call back and spoke to the same woman who answered my previous call. She remembered my call after hearing my first name and double checked that all the information she recorded the day before was correct. It was. She apologized and stated the Keith would give me a call. I have still not received a call back to schedule service. My A/C stopped blowing cold and my unit is 14 years old. I guess if KeithHAC is too busy to schedule service on a system that likely needs or will need to be replaced soon for thousands of dollars, I will find a different HVAC company that is better with customer service, communication, and wants to add new clientele to their business. The tech/rep that came out took the time to go over all the repair/replace options with minimal sales pressure so we ended up replacing everything. The crew came out the next week and due to an inventory shortage installed a more efficient (and expensive) dual fuel heat pump system at no additional cost. The install was not without hiccups, but the company made good on everything that was promised and we are very satisfied with the results. Keep in mind that replacing an entire HVAC system IS NOT INEXPENSIVE, but there are only a few things in life where you cannot put a price on something that impacts your health, comfort and safety.

Also added a new water heater and, my favorite addition will be the split installed in a back room add on with a cathedral ceiling that's difficult to heat/cool on its own. Each installation came with its own specialist, and each team was amazing. They took such good care in ensuring the carpets were covered, and their cleanup was fantastic - including one of the guys who walked the driveway and area in front for nails that may have been dropped!! Not only that but they responded to me at around 11PM at night on a Saturday and scheduled to come to my home the next day in the morning to look at my AC unit. Moe was great! He came on time, was very professional and friendly, and did excellent work. He diagnosed the problem, explained everything to me in detail and had the condenser fixed in about 30 minutes. The price he charged was more than fair. He also provided a detailed invoice of the work so I could try to get reimbursed by my home warranty company. We made a claim with our home warranty company and they sent out Moe. Moe let us know that we were low on refrigerant and there is a leak somewhere. Instead of refilling the refrigerant and fixing the leak, I decided to replace it entirely including our furnace. Of course the leak wasn't covered by our warranty. It seems nothing is. He told us it was 2 weeks out but he was able to fit us within a week. They came out one day and did the swap. A team of 3 people including Moe were here from around 8 till 4. Then he came out the following Monday and replaced our filters. It was a pleasure working with Moe. I definitely recommend him and 1st Hvac.
