Finally got to try Keke's in La Quinta!! I feel like I've been waiting forever for them to open LOL The place is super cute, modern, and clean. We waited about 20 minutes but it went by pretty fast. I got the cheesesteak omelet with mushrooms and it was SO good!! Isabella had recommended it and she was seriously such a doll ,Everything came out perfect, and she even brought us hot sauces and jellies. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. The service was bad. They gave me my food order wrong and once they brought up the check they still tried to charge me for it. The food wasn't bad but the really poor service ruins it. You get rushed out the place and they give you the check when you're still eating. Our drinks were empty and it took so long to get a simple water refill. The valley has been waiting for this spot to open and finally this past week or so! We had breakfast today, Monday and it was packed with a 15 minute wait for everyone walking in. They seem to be super efficient in getting everyone seated, but you always have those folks that hate waiting. Started with Coffee and Large OJ and the OJ is huge. Cheesesteak Omelette and Ham & Cheese Omelette, both were delicious! The entire staff looks busy and running around. If your server is not available , other staff seems to refill coffees, get things you ask for, etc. It is nice to have another new breakfast spot here in the East Valley! read more

Best breakfast experience ever!! This place was busy, but I only had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated. I ordered the French toast combo and substitute the regular French toast for the Banana French Toast (so worth it!!). This came with two sides; I got scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Everything was fantastic and cooked perfectly. The eggs were soft and tasty, not dry nor chewy. The bacon's crispiness can be cooked to your liking, and you get lots of bacon. The banana French toast was definitely the star of the meal. Not only were the French toast cooked perfectly, but they were also covered in bananas and pecans, so delicious!! The coffee was hot and tasty too. The ambiance was very pleasant. Loved the modern, clean decor. The booths and tables were very clean and comfortable. I really liked the artwork as well. This was our first and last visit to Keke's. My father and I eat out twice a day every day of the week this was by far one of the worst dining experiences we have had. First walking in the place was clean and organized although the entrance way is not air conditioning in any way and so it retains horrible body odor smell which is also doubles as the waiting area if they put you on a list so needless to say we sat in that area with that horrible body odor smell. The hostess who told us that it would be a 10-minute wait time and after looking around there were multiple tables booze that were cleaned and set and ready to go so I don't know why she put us on the 10 minute wait after sitting for about 5 minutes they called us and took us to a table. Our server Adriana was friendly and look clean and presented herself well unfortunately from that point on everything was downhill. Let's talk about the price it is deceptive pricing at its best I don't care what it cost but I do care that they don't openly tell you when there's an upcharge or a charge for a change. On the menu of sausage and cheese omelette is $17.79 when you tell them you want cheddar cheese they add 50 cents with no mention of that that was mine The Omelette was supposed to be a three egg omelette and it may have been but the eggs were the small size they were not large or jumbo probably not even medium as The Omelette was very small the cheese was miniscule in The Omelette the sausage was just their breakfast sausage sliced up it was presented and made properly there was cheese from end-to-end unfortunately there was the up charge and very little of the condiments and the small legs made for a small omelette it comes with home fries that's the only type of potatoes they have and it's sliced red potatoes which I normally love to eat but the preparation of these was horrible both my father's plate and my omelette came out with the potatoes they were hard and undercooked when we found the waitress she said we'll get you some more we had finished our meal when more potatoes came out that were properly cooked which was highly disappointing.. now let's get on to their classic 3 egg combo you would think that the breakfast would come with eggs potatoes toast and then you know for a slightly additional price have meat are servant informed us that the combo comes with a choice of three things eggs potatoes meat or toast a choice of three so my father ordered the eggs potatoes and sausage and was going to have a slice of my English muffin that came with my omelette. The muffin came and it was not toasted at all it was slightly warm the server argued with me and said that's how they come I said we'll forget it I would like to have sourdough toast instead the sourdough toast they were out of and so I ordered White when I received the white toast one piece was perfectly cooked toasted and butter perfection the second piece was black and charcoal and inedible. In my past working career I was a restaurant manager for many many years over 45 years that's what I did from 16 all the way through when I retired a basic rule of food service is if it's black you don't serve it there's nothing that you eat black besides coffee that you serve. Then there were no condiments on the table no sugar was offered with our iced tea we had to ask for it for the iced tea and for the decaf coffee had to ask for cream had to ask for it to Lula had to ask for any other condiment that you could think of other than catch up salt or pepper when Bella the manager came over to talk to us she didn't apologize for the poor food and she was in a hurry to leave after telling her all the different complaints I certainly will not be back and I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone else if if they had corporate trainers come down from another store or anywhere else they did a horrible job you would think of breakfast place could cook breakfast properly with no hiccups. The kitchen certainly needs more direction or help the servers certainly need a lot more direction or training and the manager needs to learn true customer service there are so many other choices here in the valley for breakfast that are better summer cheaper some are more expensive but have great food fantastic service and a great ambience we will be enjoying those on an ongoing basis read more

Place was very nice and waitress was friendly and did a great job. That being said the pancakes, sausages and bacon all was cold. And pancakes seemed like they were premade. If I could give 6 stars, I would! I went to Keke's Cafe today after seeing it on Facebook and hearing so many good things from my coworkers at there grand opening, so I decided to finally stop by and I'm SO glad I did! My server was Isabell, and I have to say, she provided some of the best service I've had in a long time. She was incredibly attentive, even though she was extremely busy. Somehow, she never missed a refill and was constantly checking in on her tables. I was honestly amazed at how she could have a conversation with me while still keeping up with everything going on around her. Her Spanish was also incredible and made the experience feel so welcoming, comfortable, and family-like. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about their customers, and Isabell definitely made me feel that way. I ordered the Turtle Stuffed French Toast, and WOW!!!!! it was absolutely delightful and delicious! Honestly, it might be the best French toast I've ever had. I'm so happy there's finally such a great breakfast spot in the desert! I'll definitely be coming back and recommending Keke's to everyone I know. Service was awesome but the quality of food was not. My sister and I went there for breakfast and first of all, the prices are high, too high for average food. I got an egg and cheese sandwich and honestly I could have done better at home. The cheese was not even melted and the bread was barely toasted. The potatoes are my favorite which are red potatoes but they weren't cooked enough. You can't go wrong with pancakes but these were awful. They need a new recipe for pancakes! Coffee was decent. Save your money. Go someplace else. It's where I hop used to be. Not nearly as good as. Think it's somehow connected with Dennys. Was overcharged $9.98. In their defense they were willing to take it off the bill but didn't know how to refund it from my credit card. So instead offered me a credit for my next visit. Of course there's not going to be a next visit so I'm out $9.98 for food that was overpriced to start with. Over $58.00 for an omelet and a tuna Sandwhich cup of coffee and Diet Coke. The experience at KeKe was good. I still find the service in their Orlando operation near Disneyworld much better. I find the their pancakes and waffles are better back in Florida. I have been waiting to try the new KeKe's Breakfast Cafe to open for a while. I knew it would be hard to get in, so I waited until later in their working hours. The service was amazing; everyone was so friendly. We got great service; they checked on us several times. Even the owner came and talked to us. The food was delicious. We had the Tuna Salad and Fruit, and the French Toast Combo. Big servings. Even the orange juice came in large glasses. The decor was nice and even though the AC broke it was still cool enough inside, and these things happen. But they were kind enough to accommodate everyone. We had the best service we have ever had here in the desert. Our server Ashlynn was darling and got our order perfectly. They were in training mode so they had a ton of employees working but every single person there smiled big and asked how our day was going. The manager stopped by and introduced herself to check we were enjoying our meal. We probably had 8 different people asking to refill our coffee and water, and everyone was smiling! We were excited to try this new place but ended up extremely disappointed. It was super cold inside. We asked for them to turn down the air a couple of times but it seemed like that was ignored. Menu doesn't have anything special on it. Just an upscale Dennys style. Every time we asked for anything such as sugar, creamer or jelly they asked what kind do you want like they were going to ration it out but then ended up bringing different selections of each. Our food came out cold. Food looked like it was prepared rushed. Not appealing and tasted just as bad. Pancakes were cold and rubbery. Scrambled eggs looked like a half scrambled omelette.
