My third visit confirmed my impressions from the first two. The food just isn't very good and the service is slow. Not that I minded spending 3 hours dining - it was 6 of us catching up - but it was more about the timing, and not being able to get service at the times we needed it. Our party had reserved a very nice window table, overlooking the hilltop golf course and supposedly with distant views of Boston, though I couldn't spot it. Our waitress was perfectly fine though obviously overworked. Not enough staff to cover this large dining room. It took a surprisingly long time to get our drinks. The slowness continued throughout the meal, and one of my companions had to drink his dirty martini "clean", the blue cheese-stuffed olives he asked for arriving too late. We ordered three appetizers for sharing: Antipasto alla Italiana, Meatball Trio, and Steamed Mussels. The Antipasto, an assortment of Italian meats and cheeses was oddly served as a "tower": the prosciutto draped over a metal frame like Irish Moss on a live oak, the blob of burrata on the top like a UFO had just landed in the treetop. Clever, or bizarre? I say the latter. The other meats were laid out flat on the base, hard to pick up. This dish was not at all easy for sharing, though it was clearly intended for that. It was heavy on the meats, with not enough cheeses or veggies. A more balanced selection would likely permit a lower cost as well. I considered the $33 price, the highest by far of their appetizers, severely overpriced. The steamed mussels were very disappointing. Tiny, not much bigger across than a nickel! The broth, supposedly of white wine, garlic, preserved lemons, capers, red pepper, and fennel, tasted of little more than salt. When I could access it that is. This dish was served in a small bowl with high sides so the liquid couldn't be reached until most of the mussel shells were removed first. And the garlic bread? Not garlicky at all, and burnt and bitter, not grilled. The third app, the meatball trio, was quite good. At least the meatballs were. As for the marinara sauce, read on. My entree was Veal Parmigiana. Another disappointment. The veal was dry and overcooked. The spaghetti was fine. But the marinara? I have literally never had worse! No bright tangy tomato flavor, no detectable garlic, basil, or other herbs and spices. So bland. And something "off" about it, like they added cream or something? Just wow. I finished the veal, but barely touched the spaghetti and didn't bother to take any home. If I had liked it there wouldn't have been much to take home anyway. The portion was on the small side compared to parmigiana entrees elsewhere. How to finish off a mediocre meal? How about a mediocre chocolate tart? Rice-flour crust, with vanilla gelato, whipped cream, and sea salt chocolate ganache. Just as dull as can be. The ganache tasted sweet but not particularly chocolatey. The crust was just sweet and crumbly with no flavor of its own. I suppose the rice flour was so it could be gluten-free but it didn't work. The gelato was ok. And the espresso I got with it was very good, though very expensive at $7. I should know better than to eat at a golf club restaurant. But it's Dracut, and not much around, our friends live close by - and they seem to like it - so it probably won't be the last time. But I won't be repeating the mistakes of this visit. I'll try all different things next time. But they could be so much better if they only tried! read more

Went for the Easter brunch. It was an absolute zoo. Hoards of people, very loud, long lines at the buffet, generally unpleasant. We were seated in the dining room and to get to buffet table, we had to walk to the other end of the building. This is something that should be mentioned to customers when taking reservations. My husband has mobility issues, and it was difficult for him to walk that far back to our table, having to dodge and weave through the masses of people while balancing a plate of food. A plate of not great food that was cold once you got back to your table. And the desserts? You get better desserts at a Chinese restaurant buffet. They were quite literally awful. The "strawberry shortcake bar" offered rock hard biscuits that were so stale they didn't even absorb the juice from the obviously previously frozen strawberries (they were kind of brownish). But the cherry on the top was the cans of whipped cream that everybody picked up with their hands to press the nozzle. Very unsanitary. The other choices were mostly melted gelato and stale, tasteless cake. I mean, it might have been acceptable if this was a $20/person Golden Corral buffet, but it was $65/person plus mandatory 20% tip. And you weren't even served coffee! You had to wait in line for that too. Just so not worth it. I'd eaten at Grazie's before and always enjoyed the meal. Lovely location, good food at a reasonable price, so I was really disappointed in the buffet. It was just a shameless money grab. Would never go back again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Called Tuesday, asked for a table for six on the patio for Saturday night. Was told, "we can't guarantee you outside". Sweetie, it's Tuesday, you put my name on one of those tables NOW. Jeez. Anyway. PRO-Arrived with the Mondellos & the Haskells & were seated OUTSIDE right away. Thank you. Gorgeous night, fire pits roaring away. Our waitress was very nice & prompt. We all ordered drinks & the boys ordered the special "Lobster Bisque" appetizer. Ladies had huge, good cesear salads. Boys happy to see the Lobster Bisque actually had a couple chunks of lobster in it, not usual. So yay! The Haskells got the stuffed haddock special which was large & tasty. They both liked it alot. I got an excellent shrimp scampi over angel hair. Took 1/2 home. Mrs. M got the Pesto Shrimp special, which she liked & Mr. J got the very good (he raved) bolognaise over pasta. Dessert was creme brule for all but Mr. C & I. Again, it was really good. CON- Ward ordered the chicken picatta, which as last time, came over MASHED POTATOES. HUH. I find this SO weird. He liked the chicken, the potatoes, not so much. He asked if they had rice, nope. Just risotto. He did not ask if it could come over pasta (like at a normal place), which is what I would have done. He ate the chicken & mixed veggies. Left the soggy potatoes. SO- Most of us really enjoyed our food alot. Drinks were good & our waitress kept them & the water glasses full. Was an enjoyable meal. Bill was hefty (we all had two drinks each & soup to nuts, so...) over $220 was our share with the tip. I'd go back tomorrow, Ward says nope. Just ok overall in his opinion. My family has been coming here for years. We come for dinners and for the Thanksgiving buffet. Each time the service has been pretty consistent, friendly, and efficient. The food is generally consistent as well but a few times dishes have lacked flavor or haven't been cooked all the way through. I usually order a pasta dish; a plus is they have GF pasta! Other than that, just a note that this place is not very GF friendly (pretty much all the appetizers aren't and no GF pizza). We will definitely continue to come here! Also, the big windows and views are a nice addition! If you come here on a nice night, the sunsets are incredible. read more

We have been going there for years on Thanksgiving Day. I have never written a review but unfortunately I feel it is necessary. This is the first year that the food was pretty bad. all cuts of meat whether white meat, dark meat or ham, Were extremely dry. I'm a big guy and would normally have 3 or maybe 4 plates. I was halfway done with one and didn't take anymore. Also, the fact that for a party of four, they add-on 20% for a tip and then ask for more is absurd. I prefer to focus on the positive but after the worst restaurant experience of my life which traumatized my young adult children, I have given Grazie over a year to simply call me (I wanted nothing other than acknowledgement that my hosts cared 1 little bit about what happened. We heard about Grazie receiving great reviews for the food and decided to try it. The other night was our first visit, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was wonderful, and the menu had a lot of food options. Our server was pleasant and spread out the courses so we could enjoy our evening. We ordered the slow braised short rib which was very good and the chicken saltimbocca special. The chicken saltimbocca appeared like it had been sitting out for a while waiting for the other entrée, the sauce on top of the chicken started to firm up and the rigatoni that was not under the cutlet was barely warm. I would have sent it back, however our server was overseeing multiple tables and did not come back for a while. The table next to us ordered the same chicken saltimbocca special and we could see the steam coming off their plate. The crème brulee with berries was very good and they have a wide selection of after dinner cocktails. It was a bit disappointing, but we will give it another try. read more

Had a mercy meal there. They were supposed to have four tables of 10, when we arrived, there were five tables of seven. Luckily six of our guests did not show up so we had enough chairs. Ran out of food had to request for more. Survice was rushing us throughout the whole meal. When I spoke to management, they said they would use this as a training experience. A friend mentioned that they had heard their friends raving about Grazie in Dracut. I knew I had to check it out! We went early on a Sunday night so thought it would be no problem getting in without reservations. We thought wrong. I think because it was so close to Christmas they were fully booked until 7:30. As we normally we eat pretty late, that was no problem. We made a reservation for 7:30. Driving up to the restaurant was beautiful. It is on top of a big hill. And I mean way up. It was dark so we couldn't really appreciate how high up, but you could see lights in the distance of Lowell. The manager mentioned you can see Boston on a clear day. The lights for the holidays were up so the entire restaurant glowed. There were patio heaters blaring in the front, not to keep diners warm who were eating outside, but for ambiance. Beautiful. A huge lighted Christmas tree towered over the landscape. A snowman greeted diners at the front door. Inside was just as glowing. Although the restaurant seats quite a few, it had a cozy feel. The lighting was perfect. We were seated at our table. Our waitress Taylor came over and greeted us. She asked about drinks. I ordered an Apple Martini and hubby coffee. Taylor brought over bread and a divided plate of dipping oil, hummus, roasted garlic. We just ordered entrees as it was so late. I ordered Chicken Piccata, hubby Veal Parmesan. The entrees came out and looked delicious. The chicken in the Chicken Piccata was tender and sauce was very tasty. It came with garlic mashed potatoes with just the right amount of garlic, and seasonal veggies. Hubby said his Veal Parmesan had a crispy coating and veal was tender and tasted l very good. He gets Veal Parmesan so often I swear he's got to be an expert. He said it tasted like high quality veal. Sauce was delicious also. Spaghetti was served under the veal cutlet. Both dishes were more than enough to fill us, even though we did not get salads or appetizers. We did not opt for dessert as we were full to the top, but next time. This is a great place for date night, family dinners or holiday dinners. Graze's is a great restaurant has been here many times over the last few years. But it does have its down falls for instance on Tuesday nights starting at 4 it's a buck a shuck. We made a reservation at 5:30 our table are all oyster lovers so we were very excited to get out of the house during these trying times. I ordered 2 dozen, another ordered 2 dozen, and the third ordered 1 dozen. Well, I got my oysters first and they were delicious but the other girls could only get 1 more dozen!! Come on crew it's a Tuesday night at 5:30 and you already run out of oysters. Why don't you order many and if you have left overs make oyster Rockefeller, or fried oysters, etc. Most people can't get there at 4 because of work, just a suggestion I'm sure you would make out in the end. read more

This review is for takeout that we had 12/23/20. As many of us have been doing the last few months, we have been using takeout as a way to deal with some of the pandemic blahs. It has been hit or miss with the experiences, but we keep trying. Our meal from Grazie was a definite hit! We ordered over the phone and were told to pickup in 15 minutes. The food was packed and ready when I arrived and the staff couldn't have been nicer or safer. We got two appetizers, the eggplant and the mussels. Both were well packed and were so delicious, we were almost sad when they were gone. Next up were the shrimp scampi and the bolognese. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and slightly spicy, delicious. The bolognese was next level, perfect pasta with an amazing sauce. This is one of the best pasta dishes you get anywhere and is worth the trip all by itself. Thank-you Grazie! read more

They were able to accommodate our large gathering and sat us next to the window with the gorgeous landscape view. A lovely setting and the outdoor views and the fire pits on chilly nights is very nice. Reception was pleasant and accommodating as we had cocktails outside and dined indoors. They kept our server the same which makes things easy. They tried to seat us at the table near the door to the separate bar, a service alley and the kitchen entrance and were pleasant when we asked for something out of traffic. Although I will say that with 5 or six open and obviously better options one would expect to be seated there first. The particular table I noted as "in traffic" is just plain awful.. My wife loved her lamb and the veal on the veal parm. Was tender and well cooked. However, the marinara was tasteless. Also on the plus side they make a great manhattan and wine prices are quite fair. read more

All good, although not as good as first time so 4 stars vs five. Just as our first time - It was sort of loud again, and coffee came and least 15 min before desert...what's with that?? Ww want to check our midweek casual dinner next time as we've found a few other special occasion restaurants that are more conducive to conversation for our annual holiday get togethers. read more

There truly are no words. Chef Beni, the executive chef, works in an open kitchen viewable from where you eat- I love this concept! The views from the dining area, the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food here just cannot be beat. My fiancé, who is self proclaimed as a picky eater, even said "I never knew a chef could make a pepperoni pizza taste so unbelievably amazing." Very few times in my life have I had dinner out and just been in awe in how amazing the entire experience is. Eating at Grazie's is one of those times. read more
